We just came back from shopping at the new Costco Wholesale warehouse where a bunch of people bought food and stuff. Relly, an old Pinoy, was playing John Lennon’s “Imagine” on a baby grand piano. People milled around and later clapped when we arrived upon his finishing the piece. We bought 500 tablets of Kirkland multi-vitamins for the fat blob and the stroke victim; white colored towels of for washing and for the hand; and the last BBQ chicken wing for dinner tonight. So that’s about 5 items for around $50.00! That’s still expensive compared to military prices.
Speaking of military, Indy has been calling Maw for the past few days about the Supreme Court ordering a bunch of military generals from Arroyo’s corruption administration to pay back American tax-payer’s money, which was supposed to have gone to supplies of uniform, batteries, ammunition and such! She’s also under investigation, too. The generals (one of who is a very distant relative of mine) have built their mansions coutesy of the American taxpayers. The Americans should get their money back, pronto!
To Obama, TPTB and pals: Bravo for canning their greedy asses. How can I retire in that god-forsaken play when there is corruption, harassment and killings and/or behind of Pinoys and Americans alike? My TANGIBLE ASSET is there and so are the likes of Fred and pals, who are being served by “maids’! My ancestors won’t be pleased to have been corrupted by money and foreigners. I’m pissed off and ashamed at my own Pinoys!
Yesterday, we had eaten at the 13 St. Carl’s Jr. off the HWY 101 interchange ramp. It’s supposed to be a place full of truckers because the Chevron gasoline station had higher roofs. There were some white “hippies” milling about the area. I actually held the door open for one of these punks. I was wearing similar attire of a knitted hat type attire. It’s a cheap place where the grande nachos was 1/3 less than the other location! Even the meat patties were small! Besides the Mexi/Latinos, one homeless, black man was there, too.
