At 9:11pm (EST), Obama opened his “State of the Union” speech and said twice: “Thank you”. The audience was obviously getting tired of clapping a couple of minutes prior to the speech.

At 10:12pm (EST), his speech was over. Instead of my preferred Option #2 of telling the truth about the collapse of America, he went on with Option #1 and offered “promises”.

From the the popular American sit-com show Diff’rent Strokes:

“As Arnold, Coleman popularized the catch phrase “What’chu talkin’ ’bout, Willis?”

I didn’t understand what was going on with Obama’s administration or what they had planned for the country. The speech didn’t produce results.
