Today was freezing cold. The skies were mostly gray clouds. The rained may have fallen during my mid-afternoon nap until 4:00pm. Then we attended evening mass at 5:00pm without the twosome, who are Buddhist. That made Maw sad. It’s too bad they are ON THEIR OWN. The evening skies cleared a bit, showing some white fluffy clouds. The night air was not cold as we ate cake for the 50th Jubilee celebration in the hall. There were news articles of the church’s development since the 1950s. We saw old priests and old buildings in the photos, too. If it were not for Emmer and that grouch, control-freak Myrna, we would not have attended the mini-function for a few minutes. There was a blessing of the ladder for the Vietnamese community at the front of the parish. What use to be mostly white, then Latino, has become mostly Asian with a white, military priest.
Hello Flynn, nice, and good luck!
