When the oil companies continue to spill their bloody oil upon the lands and seas and never learn to clean up their mess without passing on the higher cost to consumers, I think of Quacker, the yellow duckling, from the `Tom and Jerry` cartoon show. He would say:
I’m ugly. I’m still ugly. Goodbye, everybody. Nobody loves me. Nobody. Oh, boy, I sure am ugly. I wish I was dead.
Mama! Mama! I can’t swim. Nobody likes me. I don’t know why. I try and try and try… …but I can’t swim! I can’t help it. I try and try and try. Nobody likes me. I wish I could swim. Help! Help! Help! Help! I can’t swim.
Now let me see. “Place young duck in a pot of boiling water.” Say, Mommy, where do we get a young duck? Well, I’m a — Duck! I get it. I’m the young duck. If, by gosh, Mama wants a duck dinner… …by gosh, Mama’s gonna have a duck dinner. Goodbye. And I still love you, Mama. My nice mommy. My nice, nice mommy. That’s my mommy!
Now, is this how your heartless losers make your money – from the deaths of others? What of the amphibians, the reptilians, the insects and countless other entities, who must suffer for the greed of these fools?
That’s how they see things. They only care for themselves at the expense of the world they plunder and lay waste. For eons, this is the world they created – a prison from which they will never escape – for telling lies and living in deceit.
