The old lady was on to something. With the recent earthquakes happening worldwide, it’s no wonder people die! It’s because their dwellings are made of concrete slabs, mud and bricks! Look at what happened to Haiti. People got their instance monuments. It’s truly sad, especially when I came across a website containing photos of the injured, death and dying people of Yushu, China.
If only people build their houses of light-weight materials of straws and sticks, people would at least survive strong earthquakes. Plus, natural building materials are naturally recyclable. Try bamboo, which lasts for a VERY long time. It bends during the typhoon and holds up heavy loads quite well.
