Maw and I were watching a science and nature show about animals getting caught in the action. It was disturbing that we couldn’t view the entire televised program.
We saw a mongoose escape the fangs of a lioness. It limped into one of its entrance hole to the underground tunnel.
We saw an injured porpoise being used as to cross-train a baby orca. The porpoise was looking upward at the camera for help but it swam back into the pod of killer whales to die.
We saw a dark-colored pigeon struggle inside a pelican. But the size of the smaller bird was too much and the pigeon escape onto dry land.
We saw an elephant try to get a baby elephant up on its feet. But from the looks of the very thin and the protrusion of the baby’s bony spine, it was too late. It died.
After seeing a few samples of nature at work, I realize this dimension sucks. In order to survive, killing must exist. In order to strengthen the herd, death must exist. In order to keep overpopulation under control, murder must exist.
