Nursing homes are not free. This morning Maw talked of Virginia, an old lady who had already passed on. Virginia had a disabled son, named Junior. Everyday, Virginia would visit her son at Agnews Developmental Hospital.
But Virginia was fast getting on with age. She lived alone. But Mario, one of her sons would call every frequently to make sure his mother was okay. And one day, Mario, one of her sons, discovered his mother didn’t answer the phone. He knew right away something was wrong.
He immediately went to her paid-off house and found his mother sprawled on the floor in her urine and feces. She had apparently forgotten how to get up and probably kept falling on the slippery surface. He called his other siblings to discuss matters as to where their mother should live.
Mario had no choice but to put Virginia in the nursing home. But since the nursing home was not free, he had to sell his mother’s paid off home. Virginia had nowhere else to live.
In order to qualify, the patient was submitted as having dementia, looses control of her bodily fluids and that the family could not afford to take care of their loved ones.
Then I connected the dots as to why Maldeath, Malouse, Dead and probably Glorge had to be the four authorized signators on the paper works. Maldeath and Malouse claimed they are working part-time.
But in the Bay Area and in order to keep the house, a couple should be working full-time. Now I know why my relatives lied about old granny. What a sham! What a shame! But it happens all the time as with the case of Mario.
