Late last night, I traveled en route from Union City, CA to San Jose, CA on south-bound I-880. The skies are mysteriously deep in color, mostly dark blue with a hint of green. This was after faxing my time sheet to the corporate office of my temporary employment agency. It was after 18:00pm.
I said my goodbyes earlier.
A surprise visit was by a Japanese, an older dude with dark, angular eye-glasses. He had salt and pepper, close to the scalp, pointy hair-do and a VERY serene smile. For whatever reason, I was compelled to offer my many, small nods as a sign of humble respect. It’s something familiar, almost natural and automatic, as if my reincarnation remembered something but not sure exactly. I should have asked but FORGOT: `onamae wa, nan desu ka? kudasai!`
May said there is no job opening except for an A/P position. Astuko hugged me and told me: `Don’t rush!`
