I weighed my bag of mostly water, that is my fleshy body. And the scale showed a number of three pounds less in about two weeks time. This is probably the result of eating less and healthy too in many years. We’ve been eating fresh salads, less dead meat and drastically cutting rice intake.
Since Maw’s recent hospitalization scare, she no longer cooks her usual food of mixed ingredients. She studied the portions of food given to her during her stay in the hospital. The attendants wore silky black vests. It made eating worthwhile. Plus the food served at the hospital was VERY good.
I don’t know what makes her think that her cooking is comparable to those in the restaurant. She has a tendency towards conceit, not so much pride, but too much insecurity, just like the boy who compares himself to engineers (sans education and a degree in anything) and sailors of the seas.
Loss of weight is great but makes feeling cold much colder. Dropping not just the inches from around the waist line and folds of flesh hanging from the belly, underarm, buttocks and thighs, but from one’s ego would make other’s feel free from the baggage of domination over expectations:-
Which is the preference of foodstuff. The appreciation for someone’s smothering love of lard, that when given over long periods of time, clogs the important veins, causing clots as apathy set in the form of an unhealthy relationship, along with metal particles scraped off the bottom of aluminum woks and Teflon pans.
`Get a new pan! It’s bending and the metal might go in the food!`

Great idea! But I wonder why the boy didn’t buy his Maw a new pan for Christmas. She awaits the boy’s verbal frankness to manifest by lifting your paternally-inherited fingers of laziness and go shopping for that useful item, if he really meant what he said. His sister would have preferred a web-cam, even if it is to be thrown out by any workplace, too.
And a nice spinach dip from Costco is another test of re-payment after the sister-in-law leaft a brief a voicemail message on the girl’s cellphone, describing the label of the container. Let’s see if she pulls through just this one time, since it was really the idea of her mother-in-laws.
