That day was mostly cloudy and cold. As we made our way to the DeCA grocery (or commissary) store in Moffett Field, CA, I thought:
`Why make clouds when there is no rain? Don’t be cloudy, if there is no rain!`
After reading one of four of my favorite books by a former New Ager (of all sorts), I recall the story about how one could make rain – just from thinking about making rain. And so it was that around 15:00pm and after rolling the cart downward to the ramp below, the rains started to fall, lightly at first and then more so after I closed the door to drive off in the Mazda Protogé.
It rained from gray clouds above. It covered as far as the eyes can see. We were slightly wet but thank goodness Maw and I wore knitted scarves and hat, except Paw, who never like wearing anything on or around his head.
