Upon returning home from our errands at SeaFood City this morning and driving the car inside the garage, the radio was turned on. But the static was VERY loud and fuzzy. This has NEVER happened before to our Mercedes Benz E430.

In the previous days and for the past few months, we noticed that the radio reception to the stereo system to the Mazda Protege was also VERY loud and fuzzy. The static is especially noticeable INSIDE the garage. This beater car is parked on the left side; while the luxury car is parked on the right side.

Also, the small, battery powered radio that I use upstairs while working at my personal computer has been have STRONG static and sometimes HIGH frequency noise. This has been ongoing for the past few months and noticeably at NIGHT.

Whenever we drive up to refuel the cars at our local Shell gasoline station, the static to our stereo system is VERY loud and fuzzy. WTF? This is outdoors and the high ceiling overhead should allow enough radio reception through the air!
