There are currently 386 media items (via `upload.php`) in the `Trash`, which contains all `Posts` Images, except for `Pages, and all Audio and Video. I realize that maintaining my personal accounts online is hard work. And in hindsight and like any business entity, there is no such thing as indefinite but a limited time in space.
And in order to free up space, I had to move those to the `Trash` (via `upload.php?status=trash`). This is because there is only (by default):
3 GB upload space remaining. You can upload mp3, m4a, wav, ogg audio files and increase your available space with a Space Upgrade. You can upload videos and embed them directly on your blog with a Video Upgrade.
Although the items are in the `Trash`, they are still available for viewing or hearing until the product subscription expires. This means there is still time to decide whether or not I want to continue adding more content using the media feature of WordPress.com.
Today, I received a reminder from WordPress.com:
Your subscription to “5GB Space Upgrade” has expired or is about to expire. Visit the Upgrades page to renew it.
