Argh! I’m addicted to blogging! For the last one friggin’ hour I couldn’t log into my favorite weblog here at WordPress.com.

1. This is the message I would receive while I attempted to log into my account:

Writes to the service have been disabled, we will be bringing everything back online ASAP

2. Earlier, viewing my weblog through my outdated cellphone showed the following messages:

Cannot connect to website.

The website you requested

http://thebloggingpath.wordpress.com is refusing the gateway’s connection at the moment.

MIC Error 603

Description:

Content Error. There may be a problem with this web page.

The Requested page can not be displayed

MIC Error #201

Description:

Server not responding. Please try again.

3. So I lurked to find answers via:

Forums but found that the threads didn’t have any new entries.
Support but found the message for the contact section read as:

Support will be unavailable from 10 a.m. EST on Friday, October 9 to 4 a.m. EST on Monday, October 19. Please see the news blog for more details. Until then: Happy blogging!

4. I ended up noodling around and came across the WordPress.org Showcase and visited the NASA.gov site, Harvard U. and comedy.com. As a result, I’m friggin’ jealous at the wonderful creativity done by bloggers, web designers and the overall platform that WordPress has to offer.

5. I even tried signing up with blogger.com! But I forced myself to resist and log my entries separately on a friggin’ Word document. Oh, the torture of writer’s block, too!
