You can tell your family.
That is what Pete told to moi long ago in one of many cellphone conversation. At least there was honor to tell the truth. But I knew that meant getting my family involved in my financial problems. They simply are living on fixed income, have their own family and mortgages to worry about and couldn’t afford to live a lifestyle that other Filipinos in our community think we pursue, let alone invest on schemes that won’t pay off in a timely manner.
I didn’t want them to suffer my fate of greed either. There was too much as stake to let my loved ones know the likes of these people. Since my relatives are ungrateful, do NOT bother calling us to make sure we are still alive here in San Jose, CA and are also hard up on finances for paying their mortgages and raising their growing families, there was no way I could get my relatives involved.
I knew I was alone. I knew a REMEDY is my only other option. I knew that cuz Jojo operated in that same arena and avoided him too like a shark-tooth bane up inside my behind. Faith-based business transactions at this point failed. And yes noone would believe moi, except God who won’t hear my prayers after nine slong years of waiting for nothing.
It’s God’s will that I die penniless. I guess I wasn’t meant to fulfill my mission of ‘spreading the wealth’. I know that belongs to the rightful owners. I’m not stupid, Pete.
