Although I would prefer to avoid eating pork, I love Homer Zuckerman’s famous pig, Wilbur, from Charlotte’s Web:
an award-winning children’s novel by acclaimed American author E. B. White, about a pig named Wilbur who is saved from being slaughtered by an intelligent spider named Charlotte. The book was first published in 1952, with illustrations by Garth Williams.
As mentioned in my previous blog entries, Wilbur, like any animals, appear to possess intelligence. I wonder if the recent resurfacing of a health-related propaganda is alerting people to avoid eating sentient beings in the form of pork due to the Swine influenza (also called H1N1 flu, swine flu, hog flu, and pig flu):
an infection by any one of several types of swine influenza virus. Swine influenza virus (SIV) is any strain of the influenza family of viruses that is endemic in pigs.[2] As of 2009, the known SIV strains include influenza C and the subtypes of influenza A known as H1N1, H1N2, H3N1, H3N2, and H2N3.
The inspiration to the title of this blog entry `No Swine` was from an old wine commercial during my growing years as per this downloaded copy of a YouTube video by darianglover:

The Paul Masson brand is best remembered for its 1970s marketing association with Orson Welles, who promised for Masson: “We will sell no wine before its time.” An infamous outtake for one commercial from the Orson Welles campaign features Welles attempting to deliver his lines while inebriated.
As a result, the timing between loving and respecting all animals and not eating them as foodstuff and this constant if not daily news of Swine flu and the upcoming poisonous vaccination campaign to reduce the human population to a more manageable amount could not have been more perfect along the lines of `[TPTB] will sell no [swine flu] before its time.`
I wonder if farmers raising pigs and investors should stop production of pork as a commodity in the open market altogether. I wonder if anyone notices how the last name of Paul Masson looks like the word `Mason`. So perhaps the Masons are pushing for this health scare tactic.
