Yup, I just finished reading my favorite author`s weblog article about `thinking and researching`. Last night, Maw and I were watching:
Whatever is in store–a massive cosmic collision, a global environmental disaster, an Armageddon-like religious showdown, or a more subtle transformation–many believe that December 21, 2012 will mark a major shift in the history of our planet. There is no cogent distinction between the sobering facts and hysterical fiction–what, if any, modern scientific proof exists? Is there any other compelling evidence throughout history that 2012 will be a year of unprecedented, deadly upheaval? This special looks for the parallels between the nightmarish daily headlines and the 2012 prophecies from Nostradamus and others. From the mystical realms of the Guatemalan jungles to the Hopi elders and Mayan shaman to respected thinkers of the modern age–Nostradamus` doomsday warning will be cast in a frighteningly modern context.
Now, this stuff has been going on for too long. And people make money off the ignorance of others by publishing this crap about predicting a future event that would occur in my lifetime and in about 3 more years. That`s not a lot of time to prepare for survival amidst to all the ongoing disasters by these providers of doom and gloom.
I kept emphasis to the old-timer to NOT believe what we were viewing on televised programming and enjoy life and the beautiful weather we have had for the past two days. But my `message` was not heard again.
Since the media controls the information being broadcast over the airwaves, there is no telling what REALLY goes on unless the observer is RIGHT there at the scene as star witness.
It goes along the scenario of: I wouldn`t know if a tree fell without someone else report that incident to me. Who do you believe? This is where blind faith becomes a problem.
Give the suckers enough eye-candy and juicy details and the miracle of dis-information has sprouted, sometimes creating reasonable doubt to a small number of open-minded viewers; but mostly illusion to those who easily believe in anything (like moi unfortunately).
But I think the people (voters) of California voiced their opinions VERY well by not allowing any of Propositions 1A through 1E on the statewide election dated May 19, 2009 to pass! Wow! People are becoming more aware and awake to wasteful state spending.
You`ve got to believe in something! (Maw)
Whatever, crone! I won`t waste my time in making you believe in blessed elemental formed in clouds and found on ice cubes (of which I saw at least a total of six faces).
I want to believe in God, angels, saints and martyrs. I want to believe in my `church`, its teachings and the creepy priests, the voice-piece of reasonable interpretation of `Biblical` truth for the `Dark Ages` when people did NOT know how to read and write.
But I know how to read and write and think and research on my own but slowly. I certainly will NOT pray the stupid rosary everyday and make up prayers that will go unanswered!
You know why? Because, I too lost my job, lost my income, and lost EVERYTHING I worked hard for, only to be gone over the course of nine (9) slong years.
I refuse to be locked-down by your religious and especially political fears of what others think in best solutions for me: abortion, taxes, debts, etc. I want my ability to MOVE freely restored! But until that justice is served, I have kept my mouth shut and rely on the trustees of my destiny.
I know if I had a chance to ruin the lives of my recruiters and have them jailed for what they have done unto moi; that could have been done years ago and, yea, is still on the books. But that is an `unsettled` issue.
Last night I was able to rest very well and not have to wake up to use the bathroom the whole night. My prayers were answered and felt the warmth of an angel embrace me while in bed. (Maw)
Whatever, crone! I just couldn`t stand you whining and complaining about your aches and pains and had to point Shrimpsei`s `beamer` at you to ward off your invisible parasites, which I cannot see nor claim as an answer to your alleged relief of discomfort and sound sleep that night.
I guess it`s easier to `go with the flow` and have blind faith for somethings not requiring proof. I guess the Matrix is real for many who will NOT awaken. Unless the trigger is set, people will continue to distract themselves with senseless debates, lack of sufficient evidence and more lies about freedom of choice as being something to hate and entertainment thereof.
