To Brat:
It’s great your are trying to get in touch with your kinfolks. But like high school, there are people who feel comfortable in certain groups (jocks, nerds, chess, honors, popular, etc.) that know how to ‘dance to the tune’.
You, my little one, are not like them and will never fit in, ever! So stop trying to impress them with your idle chit-chat via Facebook.com, now! Please do NOT play plastic either just to ‘get along’.
Your own ‘Maw’ tried to get close by visiting them and inviting them over to her paid-off HOME. But you should realize by now, they have NOT attempted to contact you since our growing years, knowing YOU did not inherit the baggage of what I have been a STAR WITNESS of for many slong years.
As your older, un-lightened brat, I’ll take care of you and your new family. But I cannot say when that will MATERIALIZE. I may be quiet for not verbally telling you much but your wife will take care of you too; while she doesn’t care about us.
But it’s okay. If you want to try harder, even though you have four other first cousins on your maternal side, so be it. I tried. But your pride is taking sides.
