If I could get another smiley face or more (from Matt in response to this small blog entry) as credit of some sort for the following ideas, I want the new stat features to include:
- the ability to re-set the ‘hit counter’.
- a smart bot to recognize that I’m viewing my site from another browser while logged into the original one.
- a ‘stats’ widget for viewers to click (eliminates the effort of my cutting and pasting details generated from the ‘Blogs Stats: Summary Table’ button into a dedicated ‘Stat‘ page).
- lots of graphs for the readers’ viewing pleasure: pie-graphs, bar-graphs.
- lots of percentages and ratios.
- a time/date stamp when the ‘stats’ report(s) was generated.
- a download-able file of ‘stats’ to include e-mail addresses and IP addresses of comments and spams for future references.
Important: In my ‘Blog Stats‘ section of the ‘Dashboard‘. I noticed that a ‘Search Engine Terms‘ if ‘nano metal‘ matches a ‘Clicks‘ on link pointing to ‘Lemurian Protector Pendant‘. HOWEVER, the ‘Top Posts & Pages‘ does not list the page that the reader clicked to view that link.
Okay, engineers! I’ve given you jobs to ‘make is so’! And spoil me rotten, too!
