Thank You

I received a small ‘thank you’ card today. The front cover has five, five-‘petaled’ flowers – four white and one blue. There are two smaller curlies on the bottom. These cuties are three-dimensional, raised and of course slightly crushed by the USPS. The lime green colors are their stems and the ground cover. Inside there is a 13-‘petaled’ flower penciled in with a yellow center and purple surrounding it. The green clusters are penciled in as its leaves. The artist signed his art on the bottom right of this center design. Cool!

Author’s note: I am reminded of other flowers: one dozen red roses by a blind date during my first cousin’s high school senior prom, one bouquet of Cali-lilly flowers by a fourth cousin for my 18th birthday and one bouquet of flowers from a nefarious Nigerian (from ‘Florida’). I guess one could count the other cards with flowery designs as food for thoughts. But I digress again. Thanks for this card! I squeeled in joy! Weee!
