Well, that major outage was supposed to have been completed around 10:00AM on Sunday, February 8, 2009 in the North San Jose, CA area. But as it stands the DSL service still doesn’t work, even though I see three green lights on my DSL modem: PWR, DSL and ENET. The ACT light is off.
I called around 03:00PM on Friday to find out WTF was going on? The repair services for voice and internet differs. In other words, one department do not know what the other department is doing! I wasted my time with the ‘internet’ department who couldn’t open a DSL ticket because the major outage with the ‘voice’ ticket wasn’t closed!
WTF? The two should be merged so that the representatives from the ‘internet’ (high-speed, DSL, whatever, etc.) department won’t waste their time telling the customers that the voice repair ticket is not closed (or vice-versa). The funny thing was that I was able to do a financial transaction online five minutes prior to noontime on Friday.
Then the DSL service didn’t work and still doesn’t up to now. I am online at a dial-up speed of 34.6 Kbps now but was 28.8 Kbps last night. And now some of my key strokes don’t work which could mean I’m typing too fast for my incredibly slow laptop. WTF?
Barry, you’d better find out WTF your intelligence people are up to and if they have anything to do with my not being able to log online with my faster internet connection, which I’m paying! If you, Mormon Pete and pals have something to do with this latest ‘bail-out’ scam, I won’ forgive y’all!
Anyway, yesterday afternoon, the divorced Pinay from next door called to find out the status of our phone lines. It appears her phone line is also not working. WTF? What is this telecommunications scam? People are addicted to the internet, like moi!
If it’s back to basics with no running water and no electricity, which ultimately means no telephones, televisions and of course no computers and its valuable internet, then so be it. People are waking up to the fact that spending is only possible with jobs.
Without jobs, there is no spending. Without spending, there are no businesses. Without both, there are no taxes to generate revenue, which funds your stupid bailout scams in the first place! I call for action to let the market work itself out without government intervention and stop this non-sense about faith helping out!
I’ve seen too many advertisements on faith-based wares and gold, too! WTF? People can’t eat, wear or live in gold. It’s too heavy for people to carry when martial laws get installed, loading people up into trains and dumping them into FEMA concentration camps.
Okay, I’m not done. It’s time to eat lunch.
