The free market, our capitalist system, should work. The American buyers certainly don’t want vehicles that are gas guzzlers; yet they want the big SUV’s. The sellers, however, are antiquated and they should dies, allowing the smaller (or younger) companies a chance to compete in the market.
Here, I see a compromise for the job markets: engineers will have jobs designing something that will be competitive in the auto industry; classes will be offered to cross-train old timers and shifting in jobs types will happen across the country.
The main reason why the banks got their greasy palms on $700 billion and then an extra $800 billion in nationalized aide is: because the government works for the banksters. I believe the auto industry just didn’t measure up to the changing globalization (courtesy of the ‘NWO’).
Anyway, the constant snags and delays in guarantees and promises continue and it is all because the government cannot socialize their programs and literally force the American taxpayers to foot the banksters’ stupid bills.
No wonder that real estate scam worked so well among greedy Filipinos, for example, who happen to bask in the limelight of bragging about ‘having’ and not ‘owning’ several real properties, which is really about paying monthly in the hopes of selling for a profit later on.
Please do not fret or feel ‘deeply disappointed’ about losing the auto bailout. The death of the $14 billion bailout will send a message to the rest of the upcoming, greedy pigs (that I keep mentioning in my blogs) to stop taking advantage of the interest parties (like moi), who want to invest in vehicles that is both awesome and fuel efficient (like the new Tesla Roadster)!
Have you fools ever been to the Philippines? I swear to the high heavens the fumes from those ‘jeep-nies‘, which are modified mini-taxi vans from World War II, smell very noxious! I cannot breath! I cannot think! I cannot image the 21st century doesn’t have those hovercrafts by now!
Anyway, how am I supposed to go back there for a vacation and enjoy the scenery of the countryside en route to Manila when the hydrocarbons from the incomplete combustion of diesel fuel clogs up my lungs while waiting in a congested traffic?
If any of the three automakers are responsible for making such outdated modes of transportation for the use by the general public and end up exporting more of those types of vehicles to other third world countries, like the Philippines, I will never forgive you old smucks! It’s time for America to sell a car that doesn’t spew black-hearted SMOG into our atmosphere!
Do you love to drink fresh water? I do! I especially love to inhale fresh, clean air, too. But how am I supposed to get that anywhere in the world if the reliance on petroleum continues to hold the whole world hostage (just like what Mugabe is doing to country of Zimbabwe, right now)?
Also, I’ve heard over the airwaves today that some automobiles are assembled not in America but elsewhere and ‘foreign’ cars are actually assembled in America. It’s strange but we are already globalizing by the outsourcing our jobs and right underneath our noses.
So what’s next? I saw briefly on televised programming that perhaps the education system will be asking for a bailout. Oh, man: I give up! If y’all cannot REPAY me prior to Christmas, why in the hell should I believe that anything positive would happen by Inauguration Day (01/20/2009)?
You politicians are all liars! I know how ‘y’all’ operate. Y’all are doing these bailouts because of the ‘Skull and Bones’ and other secret societies that I dare not mention. It’s no wonder ‘Barry’ wormed his way into your ‘circle of friends’. It’s because he is one of ‘them’, who is capable of holding ‘people’ hostage. Never mind!
