Yeah, I like the quick responses from Automattic, Inc. via e-mails. Recently, I’ve been sending out ‘Support’ issues regarding bugs in the codes, suggestions for paid upgrades and other improvements to be reviewed on a regular basis. ‘Nick’ is cool and so are the other fine folks who helped resolve my concerns.
Anyway, one of my samples included the weblink to the dedicated blogger’s ‘products’ page. Overall, WordPress.com has lots of nice, free features. But I really want to control the environment of my weblog site and would be willing to pay for the features here. It’s just the technical knowledge that I lack that prevents me from benefiting with self-hosting.
I’m hoping for more themes or plug-ins but due to security reasons, WordPress.com won’t allow such features. But over at WordPress.org, there is more at stake like spamming and other headaches, which I’m unwilling to undertake at the moment.
