We attended evening mass at 05:00PM and had purchased two wooden items created by Palestinians, who are but 2% remaining from 30%. They were selling these hand-carved items in the front lobby area off to one corner of our local church. I was thinking about how Palestinian children suffer and die from war. I knew I had to help. I used my credit card to obtain the contact information for this organization; despite the cold hard cash my parental units are so used to handling.

One object caught my eye on the back table. It was sitting towards the front right and at the first of two levels of the display. The size is small as an open palm, smoothly finished with a value of $160.00. The figures are faceless — one angel and the family of three people representing the Nativity. I already knew this object was special because it reminded me a family. I kept looping over in my mind — ‘Mergoviperian’ [sp?].

The second object was off to the left side of the first table. There were a bunch of crucifixes ranging from hand sized to ones as large as my torso. ‘Maw’ couldn’t make up her mind as she picked up a couple. But I saw one with thirteen medallions showing the station of the cross – three on top, three on each ‘arm’ and five more on the bottom. The center had a fourteen-pointed gold-colored star containing some pebbles inside the clear glass. It had a value of $130.00.
The tall dark-haired boy helped process my credit card transaction for the total amount of $313.92! The equally grateful lady with smooth almond-shaped, light-brown eyes said: ‘God Bless You’. We felt elated as she help hold out the door for our exit and into the afternoon, warm sun against clear blue skies. We plan to have the two objects blessed by a priest.
Addendum: By the way, the credit card receipt showed lots of number three (3) followed by double-digits: 18:03:33 (time) 311 (reference number) and 366 (approval number). This is not the only synchronous event showing the number 33 on my credit card receipts. Thank you!
