I’ve been trying to clean up my extra emails and other aliases online. So far I’m down to a handful of e-mails with one primary bane – the AOL® Instant MessengerTM (AIM®) service, which I cannot delete, terminate or unsubscribe as per one of two ‘Related Articles’ entitled Cancel the AIM® Service via [http://thebloggingpath.wordpress.com/wp-admin/kjump.adp?articleId=219063], which could be found at the bottom of the following article via [http://help.channels.aol.com/kjump.adp?articleId=219764]. Anyway, this is what the article said:

Currently, there is no way to unsubscribe from the AOL® Instant MessengerTM (AIM®) service. If you wish to discontinue using the AIM service, you can uninstall the AIM® software from your computer.
