After having lunch of leftover Chinese food from last night and with my bio-units, we three decided to go shopping at Moffett Field, CA. This was my idea since spending for grocery and other products is way more inexpensive via the military than as we would describe as ‘outside’.
So at around 02:00PM we drove up HWY 101 slowly at around 60mph. The traffic wasn’t too bad and the spacing between the cars allowed me time remove my gaze from ‘driving’ and admire the lighter fluffy clouds among the lighter gray skies. The rain came a little bit but subsided halfway into our travel.
We arrived at the parking lot of DECA, chose a smaller cart and proceeded up the ramp, which was to the ‘right’ of the main entrance of the store, where an older Asian lady was checking for the sponsor’s identification. All other accompanying the sponsors had to be identified and stayed close to each other while shopping this and two other Navy Exchange stores.
Our goal (my idea) was to buy Maw her painkillers for osteoarthritis of two-100 count of regular strength (325mg) Tylenol tablets at $6.48 and another bottle of the same brand at 650mg. Prior to shopping, I saw some coffee, got some, poured my creamer into the swill and tried to swish it around since there was no stir stick available. Then Maw got mad at me for walking around with the drink and so I went back to the place up front where I got the tiny cup of coffee and finished up the liquid.
This kept me warm and I actually enjoyed myself for whatever time I have left with the twosome. I picked up only two items — carrot juice and three big muffins with chocolate chips in it. Paw asked later who bought that one. Of course, I wouldn’t admit it; while Maw claimed she didn’t know. And so of course that meant Paw bought it because he had the receipt, technically. Get it? It’s our little joke we do with the old man sometimes.
We saw some green, environmentally friendly bags for $0.70 each and bought four. The bagger used one of the three and I didn’t understand why Maw wanted to use the paper bag when we already bought something that would be phased out in the Bay Area. I thought we could get a head start but old timers like her are hard to cross-train.

It’s time to stop wasting our precious resources like trees for paper and oil for plastic. Old bags need to give way to the new ones, now!
So later we went to Longs Drugs store and compared prices of the over counter painkillers. The ones in Longs for the 325mg was $8.49 (without tax). The other painkiller for 650mg was $13.99 but on sale as advertised for $8.49. I’m not usually price conscious when spending my hard earned money but now I’ll have to be more careful and scrutinize what was being sold to the receipts.
Next we went to the Valerio Bakery and bought a bag of freshly baked pandisal. There were 14 and they also bought two deep-fried ongkoys, which contain shrimps dipped in tempura batter. These had larger than normal shrimps in it. I won’t touch the stuff because I really got to watch my weight and detoxify with whatever minimal health foodstuff is around the house.
So we went home and did our business of unloading the grocery cart, pooping and cooking my fried rice, only this time I chopped onion and garlic. And the twosome walked in to pick up the chocolate colored curtains that Maw had finished sewing since yesterday. I couldn’t finish my cooking and sort was able to get it at least to taste good enough to eat.
All the while, the Twit explained that she ran out of minutes (probably from talking too much with HER bio-units and friends), which she reimburses with her company, but not willing enough to leave a message on my voicemail message. I told her that she used to be good about returning OUR calls and that (as the ‘next’ one in line to my bio-units who gave up trying to improve the twosome) I feel the emotion of not receiving a courtesy return call.
She claimed to have told ‘Squirrel’ from her work about my text message to her yesterday. But ‘Squirrel’ claimed he had an emergency of spillage of liquid on his motherboard that same day. He did call me twice on the phone yesterday but failed to leave a message on the answering machine (at least) personally to his Paw, who was the original sender of the FYI to pick up the darn curtains.
To me, both their excuses continue to plague me since I will be surviving to see how they are part of my life. I cannot leave new dirt in my bags of old sentiments and Maw is holding her tongue lashing that will surely make people (especially Twit) cry, which to add as already been done prior to her moving in with Brat back in May 2006.
In summary, old bags need to be replaced with newer ones. I am seeing some slight improvement from the both of them and feel happy they were able to stay briefly for about, say, fifteen minutes before they went about their own business. Like I said, I am bio-units. And their business is my business (although lacking in having a life and bio-units of my own).
