A poem in free-verse in response to poem entitled ‘I’ll Follow the Sun’ via DB’s blog entry #25.

Author’s note: I thought of the title to my short poem around 06:23PM (Pacific Time). ‘They’ promised. ‘They’ guaranteed. ‘They’ would take care of me. In return, I would take care of you. By design, I wonder what is next.
