Thank George and his agency for giving me a temp job
Another slave unit in the system of unending hopelessness
The rat race towards the glass ceiling of opportunity for women
Where the ladder of success failed other capable minds and bodies
Thank George and his Mammon for giving me a lousy buck
Another dollar earned with the valuation backed by nothingness
The price inflation running away with my last juicy burger
Where the goal of competition means going into debt forever
Thank George and his God for giving me a more illusions
Another pointless imperfection of security and protection
The drug-induced imprisonment of freedom and truth
Where TPTB of Bush and company profited from our innocence
A poetry of three stanzas in free-verse.
Author’s note: Today, this lazy girl got the bad news: She is going back to work (more like a temporary assignment for six month) next week after a home-bound bout of being laid-off since June 2007 by TPTB without health insurance and of having unpaid credit card debt founded by buck-teeth and pals. Don’t wanna work! NO! NO! NO!
