My dizzy spells seemed to have disappeared quite a bit today, Monday, 06/11/2007. For two weeks after a combination party for engagement and birthday on Sunday, 05/27/2007, I’ve have dizzy spells. These would be extreme head and ear pressures. The latest scare was last Thursday, 06/07/2007 while driving home from work.
The added ‘flu-like’ symptoms of running nose, watery eyes, itchy throat and congested coughing was the worse for the first week after his party. And on Friday, 06/01/2007, I had the worse attack of coughing due to the post nasal drips from my sinuses and into my lungs. The noise from my spasms was obviously embarrassing while working. And the hot tea did provide relief but no by much.
I believe I had a low grade fever at the time but didn’t bother checking. The visit to the doctor did not help much because all I got was a free bottle of Nasonex nasal spray. I was not infected because I reported my mucous was clear but sticky. And the sound from my lungs was clear. My diastolic pressure, however, read 95, which is considered high.
I knew I wasn’t feeling well and wondered if I’ve gotten high blood pressure, hypertension or diabetes because of that high diastolic reading. These potential conditions may well be in my genetic makeup but with self-education other remedies available I have decided to take the next course of action – diet and exercise.
Cutting back on daily caloric intake was moderately difficult because I love filling my emotions with good eating, especially home cooking. The food I enjoy is now salad for lunch and maybe one morsel of meat stuff for dinner, which I find myself skipping with more strength daily. I know I should not skip breakfast either, but I usually ingest bread.
Water is taken normally and unfortunately I supplement that form of liquid with coffee. Milk is good too (after having a few bites of chocolate desserts from the 14:00PM treat for the finance team). There was chocolate moose, strawberries dipped in chocolate, very dark chocolate muffins, apple strudels and chocolate brownies.
On Sunday (yesterday), I’ve bought my ear wax removal and ear drops relief, which contains anti-inflammatory ingredients and sulfur. This home remedy may cost much out-of-pocket but after one day of treatment, my dizzy seem to have subsided. I did the ear wax removal system first and then follow-up with ear drops a few minutes later. I did notice my left ear hurt more than the right.
I do the two puffs of asthma treatment and two nasals sprays for each nostrils before going to work. These medical interventions do wonders for me on a temporary basis as I try to get back to some sort of normalcy in breathing through my nose freely and no blowing though my ears. Three weeks seems like a long time but sometimes there are un-natural technologies that may work for those who need relief from ailments of the body.
