20070608-More Spooks

Thursday night had two major annoyances: Brat and Twit visited. The story goes when Brat calls home to announce his visit. Maw and Paw were sleeping downstairs and I heard Brat said, ‘I’m home!’ He has the keys to the house and I am tempted to change the locks once and for all to avoid these stupid surprises.

I was upstairs blogging as usual and tried to creep downstairs to find out that he was indeed watching television. I saw his shades placed on the photo albums placed on the table near the front door. I hid upstairs in my room, opened my bedroom window and made faces of disgust for the whole world to see.

I did see two vehicles parked on the driveway of the house in front of us. One was a black SUV; the other one was also a dark truck with a string of large beads the size of walnuts hanging from the rear view mirror.

I kept pointing down with my finger that I didn’t want to talk to the owner of the black car parked in the driveway and subtly flicked my middle finger to any passing motorist. This is what happens to person trapped indoors. There is nothing more to do than to rant and rave via blogging or gesticulating via fingering.

Then he sneaks up behind me from the right and looks at me. I didn’t greet him all that much and said out loud when he would be going home or set sail as he claimed for being a sailor like his Paw.

The reason he was hanging out at his bio-unit’s house was because the stupid Twit is out with her friends. Brat is simply too afraid to me left alone in the house – so empty and so uninviting, except for her Chinese bio-units.

After the four of us ate dinner together, a couple of phone calls were made to Brat by Twit as a signal that she is coming. Brat did not tell his bio-units when she called, which was while watching a televised program on cable.

Brat mysteriously made his way to the bathroom farthest away from the front door of the first floor. Suddenly, she rang the door bell twice, phoned Brat again, rang the door bell thrice and phoned Brat on his cellphone again. Brat started hollering to have someone answer the doorbell.

Their plot failed when we didn’t answer the door until the fourth time. Their plot failed when we didn’t entertain them. (I ran upstairs to hide and blog further. And my bio-units told the yawning Twit to her ‘arse’ sit down. They continued to watch television without talking much to each other except the news story about a rich girl breaking the law and being hauled back into jail).

They left within fifteen minutes. They probably heard me from upstairs as I somewhat mumbled too loudly about them having to leave. Their annoyance is pretentiousness about living their lies in spite of us knowing they are not meant for each other. Our observation to both their actions has been totally ignored.

The ‘Ingrish’ of Twit is really poor and intelligible due to her being eighteen years old before coming to America. She does have false teeth, too. She totally is not Americanized and doesn’t care much for ‘Americana,’ including music, household decorations or mannerism that goes with people who have been brought up proper. This is typical of Chinese – always from themselves but always there for money.

The mind set of Brat has been affected partly by DNA of selfishness, trauma from hitting his head twice (or more) while bicycling and low tolerance for new situations. I found out that he gets highly nervous with sweaty palms from thinking too much and some shaking as a response to these stimulus.

I think that’s why Brat angrily snaps upon someone crossing his comfort zone of him always being right. He does not see that he will continue to fail until he acknowledges his error in programming. He cannot continue to hide in his bio-units’ house from the empty and uninviting dwelling of his life time debt.

The second set of annoyances for that evening was the ranting session from Maw regarding her pain and suffering under the hands of Paws stubbornness to acknowledge his failure to be a compassionate and understanding husband. She claims her nature (from her upbringing) is not to go and ask for help. She continues to wait for her husband to offer help, especially to her relatives or raising her two children for example too.

As mediator or would be counselor, I tried to encourage the stubborn bull of a Paw to physically comfort the Prednisone-laden Maw whenever possible and on a daily basis. I told him to be there for her by not asking too many stupid questions, take notice of any unexpected needs that may arise and take action without hesitation or doubt.

The pattern has been observed — Brat is like Paw. Both are highly defensive and will protect themselves to the end by making the external factors the ones to blame – whether a cashier processing the check for items purchased incorrectly or a spouse for getting irritated for someone’s inability think correctly. Twit is also like these two – clueless to the end.

The three of us ranted almost the whole evening until 23:30PM. When Paw started to yawn twice, that signaled us to leave the conversation. Their separation would have been more beneficial but neither set would admit they need each other in some twisted sense of love as typical of any wedded couple of so many years together.

Then I went upstairs, took some pictures of my new hairstyle totaling $200.00 and decided not to upload pictures. I started blogging as usual. By the way, the skies were clear that day too.
