Today, I had my bi-annual dental cleaning around lunchtime. The session went well and I didn’t need much cleaning (or scraping of non-existent plaque) because everything was perfect, according to my hygienist. But the second tooth on the upper right quadrant has felt wrong after the filling from six months ago.
The pain of this bum tooth is subtle and feels heavy. I knew the dentist had hit the pulp (where the nerve center for each tooth resides) because I tasted blood right after that drilling pain, which was felt through the anesthesia. He filled in the very small cavity with composite resin that time, by the way, and not with the mercury amalgam filling.
I do not know if I should get a crown for their bad workmanship. I swear these dentists, like so many other business-minded people, want to get the ‘bang for their bucks’ AND at the consumers’ expense. For 480.00USD notes on this one crown, this is not nice. As I mentioned in many of my previous blogs, I am debt-ridden.
So I may cancel next week’s appointment on Monday, 09-11-2006 and ride out the pain for another decade or so. Geez! Isn’t that a similar date for remembering what happened to people of two towers years ago? There is more to that event if certain beings admit to why that event should have happened.
I hope there won’t be anymore upcoming weird events around 09-11. I expect to see nothing out of the ordinary except to PAY proper respect to those ‘innocent’ lives lost during that unfortunate tragedy. They did not know they “had it coming to them”, really.
P.S. For the lazy people, who choose not to floss everyday, try flossing a week before the appointment. That should make the gums bleed enough to heal over and make it look like you did a good job too! Sorry: I know I’m gross. Hehehe!
P.S.S. I wonder if a certain freaking network could help pay for my crown, say, around this 500.00USD notes. Please remember that I hate you all!
P.S.S.S. I noticed the dentist looked weary and knowingly about something after he filled in my cavity six months ago. His work would be the first time I had to go back and have something re-done.
