Sorry for late response. But the real victim was the motorcycle rider who got ran over by the Asian, who didn’t have to panic or risk jeopardizing his family! OMG!
The SUV driver should have at least slowed down and let the motorcycles pass ahead or stop slowly to fake talking to his family/passengers as a distraction to justify stopping and then reverse ASAP!
But no! He had to run over an innocent “by-stander”, err, motorcyclist.
I don’t care if these boys are in a gang or not! Share the road and give motorcyclists extra room! After all, they can get easily injured and die, too. They love the freedom and the cool wind. Let them have the benefit of a doubt that they won’t get ran over by larger moving objects.
For example, during traffic, we were on the far-left lane, the Carpool lane/HOV whatever. I noticed lots of motorcycles riding our carpool lane to the right. Because I understand their safety, I rode my left tires on the yellow/orange lines to give them the extra space they needed to the right. This helps ensure their safety and ours from colliding.
One motorcyclist lifted his left hand to express thanks. I did this simple maneuver as a COURTESY. And y’all should consider others as yourselves.
Oh, just forgive the bikers who messed up the Asian, who must learn the rules of the road. I wasn’t there to witness the terror but the thug, who is liable, didn’t have to risk his own life by stopping suddenly in front of the SUV driver. The cop, who didn’t report the incident, was trying to protect his boys.
People behave! What are y’all trying to prove? Man will always lose over machine! Both parties must have their license suspended. Running over people is NOT nice. Control your freaking tempers!
