Short changing pennies…

We bought $9.05 from KFC off McKee Road because the one off Cropley Ave. burned. The cook left the deep fryer turned up high over night and the city won’t issue permit to Casey.

So here I am waiting at Chowking (off McKee Road) after my one promo 12 piece chicken only of leg and thighs was settled on 6:51:28pm. The cashier here is short changing the customers their pennies! The amount due is $10.81. I only got back $4.15 out of $15.00 cash tendered.

I went to my car and informed Maw and Paw of the incident. And thankfully Maw had one penny, which I gave to Leony, who gave me a nickel. The white girl who works in the KFC branch nearby was short-changed three pennies. This place had better not cheat the customers.

It is funny how the dishwasher doubles as the deep fryer, who was hollering at the cash register worker, who wanted three dozen of these chickens cooked on fifteen minutes. It is already 19:08pm and that is over fifteen minutes!

I guess when business is slow the customer pays a lot in pennies.
