All that you’ve worked hard for is but memories.
Not all the scrubbing and cleaning can take out your pain.
Words meant to keep an old man active has left him tired and worn.
No longer are you appreciated for your cooking and beauty.
You last leg in a journey is coming to an end, my dear.
Face it – your worse fear: Why fight death’s knock, you old hag?
