Flynn's Paws: My Thoughts, My Gripes

Are you happy or sad the Space Shuttle has been retired?

I am happy that our goverment has cut spending; thereby the taxpayers can concentrate on jobs. I am sad because there is nothing out in space to see, except some blurry video footages of critters swimming in space and other alleged UFOs.

I was hoping the space shuttle could help clean up the upper atmosphere and haul space junk and other recycleable debris back to earth. Further, Russia, China and America could make jobs in space by building a space station.

Before passing on, I would like to view this planet from the new space station(s). And for once, we could learn the REAL shape of this planet – spherical, bowl, or flat.

As for funding, NASA and pals have to wait their turn until Americans can find jobs and pay taxes for, you guessed it, space programs. I am sure new batches of inspired engineers could put lofty ideas into a nice plan of action.
