Behold! Our first rental vehicle from Enterprise for two days. On Wednesday, we brought in the Mazda for a servicing high idle after installing a new battery, a hard up shift at 40 mph after recycling the old gasoline meant for the lawn mower, and the rear brakes, which no longer howls on reverse after those got replaced.
Low and behold, the MB E430 wouldn’t start twice and so I panicked and had to call roadside emergency. They jumped it and then the check engine light went on and I decided to have it towed. After paying, we now got a new crank starter.
The total was over 1200USD. Last week’s root canal was over 1300USD. And though I was loosing temp hours from Hell for the past three weeks, I enjoyed driving that truck. I got tired of driving sedans. Those are too low.
Yeah and to whoever manifested my thoughts that I wanted to drive a different vehicle to work, cut it out. I’m gonna quit the two choir gigs this coming August. That’s one year of mourning and enough years with church.
Too expensive. Too synchronous. Too bad.
