I wonder if married women realize who harvested their diamond rings.
`It’s okay! As long as they have jobs!`

After watching tonight’s program on History International channel – titled `Blood Diamonds`, I didn’t know the conflict over DIAMONDS by civil wars in Sierra Leone destroyed lives. Many people were non-combatants and were mercilessly mutilated for life or killed by rebels until U.N. peace-keepers came.
`Diamonds are a girl’s best friend!`
Diamonds are inanimate objects and marketable products. By successfully implanting the unnecessary want of these stones, people tend to go bankrupt, just to buy, err, win the affection of the suckers, err, lovers. A best friend is supposed to be a pet or a person.
When Asian women and corrupted pals realize that the shine on the diamond may have been splattered by the bloods of African people who are impoverished, I’m sure they should feel some remorse, knowing how shamelessly capitalism continues to prey on the material desires of weak mortals.
