I discovered something neat while tweaking my weblog again. While editing my paid Custom CSS, I wanted to get the margins and paddings to the `img` and `wp-caption` elements. The borders around the images didn’t look even like ones found in my sidebars.
Next to the search bar on the top of this particular web browser, there is an icon with two green-colored, `mountain-tops` on top of each other. The hover message reads:
`Compatibility View: websites designed for older browsers will often look better, and problems such as out-of-place menus, images, or text will be corrected.`
So I pressed that icon button and had two different web browser views: one that showed the hover effect on my images (with captions) and the other that showed no hover effect. The strange thing is the removal of the hover element from my paid Custom CSS. And yet the Internet Explorer browser misbehaves!
