  • Minimized side by side…

I just discovered something neat Theme: Twenty Eleven | Blog at WordPress.com. Within the “Theme Option” section of my Dashboard, I changed the”Layout” to “Content on right”, which is the same as saying “Sidebar on left”.

When I minimize the internet browser, the “Sidebar on left” disappears and the content, along with the header/image and footer, “auto-fits” to the minimized screen. Now this is truly something else I want in my ideal WordPress.com theme: “auto-fits”, not seizures.

  • Cleaned up blogroll links…

Earlier today I “clean-up” old links by editing the ones I don’t care much about keeping public but to “Keep this link private”. I didn’t want to simply “Delete” my hard work in adding each link.

Currently, my sidebar shows one dozen of categories for my blogroll “Links”.

It took me much longer to edit each link because there is not “Bulk Action” to apply an “Edit”, which I’m hoping the Support will process. I’ve sent the Support EIGHT requests in this month alone. It sure would be nice to get paid/royalty for my ideas/suggestions, right? As in “copyright”, or wrong?

  • 20110806-Trying Theme

This time I’m trying the Theme: Twenty Eleven | Blog at WordPress.com. Since 2011 is almost over, this theme would be appropriate after trying some of my old favorites to my dissatisfaction.

I’ve deleted several images of “path” from my “media” and kept all but three. These three were horizontal and small enough with little cropping so as to not leave out details of the original work of art.

I was hoping to upload the ALL images from “Jr’s” site but I honestly didn’t care all that much. Again, it may be because blogging has lost meaning and became a mundane activity with little to no purpose, except be seen and heard as weird.

  • Remove this URL…

I just noticed a light-gray colored “X” mark immediately to the right of an “Author’s” “Website”. The “x-mark” can be found under the “Comments” section of the “Dashboard”. I feel like I’m so “bored” to make a “dash” for the refrigerator.

I wonder what would happen if I clicked on this “x-mark”. Would the link disappear permanently? Would I be able to retrieve the deleted link? Inquiring minds would like to know if there is a Support article to educate us on this new feature, now!

  • Uploaded images…

A few days ago, I noticed the following under the “Custom Header” of my “Dashboard”:

    Uploaded Images

You can choose one of your previously uploaded headers, or show a random one.

Random: Show a different image on each page.

This is an EXCELLENT feature. Unfortunately, I don’t have nice images to upload.

  • WordPress > Error…

WordPress.com is smart. I just tried to post a comment with the word “brilliant”. I got this message via the “wp-comments-post.php” page:

“Duplicate comment detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!”

    How cool is that?

  • Banana brown color…

The color scheme for Theme: Fruit Shake by Automattic is “Banana Brown” and it works out well with the customized header image (down by the river) and so does the brown texture of the background, unlike the large image of “The Shepherdess” which can be distracting, keeping my eyes busy. And for those with the impatience of hot air, this theme will prove to calm and sooth the reader into relaxation. Ooo! Wee! I just discovered that the narrow width “auto-fits” when the web browser is stacked! Now that’s a plus for my weblog! Now I’m feeling the urge to eat my dessert of ice cream and banana!

  • Load faster…

Hah! I’ve gotten a courtesy message on my Dashboard. It reads as:

“Tip: Your syndication feeds are set to show the most recent 100 posts. Change it to 10 or 15 posts to make your feed load faster.”

Well, I better change the settings again!

  • 20110802-Trying Theme

I’ve switched to Theme: Benevolence by Theron Parlin. For a long time, I knew this theme had my favorite time/date stamps for both the index and post pages. I like this one because it boxes in the “Comment replies” VERY nicely. The theme, hover, lacks lots of other features found in other themes.

If only team Automattic and pals allows us buy/customize a theme’s hard-code with a simple drop-and-drag feature, that would be wonderful. So far, we are stuck with the theme designers version. Everything else is eye-candy to me.

  • Feed image…

At 12:45am and just when I was ready to turn off my computer, I decided to “troll” my feeds. Of course, one of the feed happens to be a WordPress.com blogger, a provider of positive feedback of all sorts to my weblog in the form of “Comments”.

Anyway, I clicked on the feed and no new entries on his dream blog. For whatever reason, I went to use my mouse to click on his his cute baby pic. Lo and behold, the “title” attribute show a tag of two words: “Feed image”.

Now I could only assume that the baby pic is hungry. So I sent “it” my happy thoughts and waved my right hand over the screen and bade it well.

  • No longer available…

Well, it appears that Lenny and Squiggy have successfully shut-down, err, censored yet another subject, err, citizen from expressing his/her/its First Amendment right to say whatever and whenever acceptable. I’m really disappointed at the behavior on both sides of the fence!

[username here].wordpress.com is no longer available. This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service. For questions or concerns, contact WordPress.com Support.

I had recently clicked the “Like” button on this highly controversial WordPress.com article dated Aug 1, 2011 1:36PM. This most recent article did appear to go overboard but it did NOT name said individuals specifically. I was amused at the bickering among CLOSE “family members”, who really should try to get along with each other!

If Matt meister and pals read the article and assume NOT to have intimate knowledge of the PLAYERS, they should NOT get in between the parties involved. These “human-like people” are testing your ability to discern what is the TRUTH. You don’t know what is going on (really) and are being mere spectators to the fact.

But I’ve learned from these “human-like people”: They are VERY emotionally-charged “sensitives” (as per my blog on their Webinar) and will stop at nothing to make millions of more money and misery for POOR people who get in the way of their “fun”. It is really all about “business as usual” — to silence the freedom to be naughty or nice.

Sometimes it better to be intelligent enough not to offend these “human-like people” and learn how to blog properly without crossing or vexing them too much. For example, when I rant, I direct my sentiments everywhere and at everyone. But for those who knows what I mean, I’m trying to keep from going insane.

Anyway, I hope this WordPress.com weblog site gets re-instated for whatever it is worth. It is really quite entertaining. No one outside their/our family would understand what is going on. For those who have been following my weblog, you don’t know what you are up against: it’s beyond this reality and “out of this world”, if you will. It’s also part of the “game”.

  • Keeping current theme…

If it were not for the header image by “Jr” for the Theme: Pilcrow by Automattic, I would have switched WordPress.com theme again. So to make sure I do not offend the artistic support, I will keep this theme until I get REALLY bored. So far it’s okay for now, except like “Jr” mentioned the “Tagline” is at the bottom; while my time/date stamp is in a location above the post title instead of below that element.
