Describing my immediate surroundings towards the beginning and a twist to the tale or possible solutions to issues towards the end of some blogs and how they relate to my expectations of the world at large.

  • 20060308-Small Bits

Dagnabbit! Those mosquitoes are biting me! Their bites are almost unnoticeable by my bad hearing until I get all red and itchy and these hives start to form on my skin. I’d barely hear the initial buzz by my ears or feel something on my nose. My reaction time to swat them away was and still is slow. Then it’s too late and I get stung.

This vapor medicine would be rubbed and/or taped over to expedite the healing action onto my wounds. The menthol action does work for those wanting immediate relief in two days. On day one, the swellings of the bigger bites go down by half their sizes. By day two, the remaining red dots appear as little itchy scabs that get picked and heal over until picked at again. Pick. Pick.

That is what happens when these critters like to bite me. I must taste good to them otherwise they won’t keep coming back for more of my skin and blood. The red bites on my skin appear out of nowhere and I think they hide within my Tempur-Pedic bed system where air pockets allow not only their hideaways but great support for my back.

Other mattresses used to numb my whole arm and hurt my neck and shoulders when I try to sleep on my sides. I still have to sleep flat on my back with better comfort thanks to my new bed which cost me over two thousand dollars.

I do sleep more soundly now and dream more vividly than ever before due the comfortable bed. And, yes, I do snore when sound asleep and have awoken myself in the middle of snores! My bio-units make fun of me when I start snoring during my short naps on the family sofa after a hard day’s work. Snoring is from the side of Paw, again.

When I grew up on the military housing, I used to get bitten all over by critters and got allergic reactions from those itchy hives as usual. I remember one of my eyelids swelling shut after being bitten by a mosquito. This bite took a long time to heal because the story is one that Maw remembered well.

At the back of the military housing, there was this bush about four feet in height. Within this bush there thrived a nest of wasps. We all could hear the buzzing get louder as we got closer to the well hidden nest in that bush. For whatever reason that bush was left dangerously there while we kids played merrily on our swing set not to far off. That bush was eventually removed and we no longer feared the potential attack by one of those insects hurting us. None stung us.

My other horrible experience was at the same swing set on the back of the military housing where a bunch of our friends were playing. As I sat down on the leftmost swing and enjoyed the laughter of other children, there landed this big spider on the back of my hand. It was as big as my hand and scary too.

Everyone nearby ran away from me as I cried and wailed. I was frozen in fear because I didn’t want those sharp fangs digging into my flesh. They laughed and kept telling me to get rid of it myself. I didn’t know how. No one came to my rescue and had to shake off that critter knowing noone seemed to care. I ran to my mommy. That spider did not bite me.

Pimples and acne have been my other personal battle and that is like being bitten, only from inside out. It’s the way my system reacts to the likes of fat, oil and meat. I know that my diet has not been under control all my life. The insecurity of not having enough to eat is hard to overcome when if fact abundance in foodstuff would not be my problem in this lifetime.

Eating in moderation is difficult for me when I have this bad habit of snacking in between meals. I know, if I do lose my weight, I’ll start feeling cold due to less fatty layers that keep me warm. The people around me are fat pigs and disgusting when they have to eat for the sake of eating. I should take better care of myself now. Then again doesn’t that chocolate cake look delicious?

Being bitten is one thing but biting back is another. I don’t remember biting anyone except for one cousin (on the side of Paw), who used to assert her aggressive behavior by grabbing hold of our arms and trying to bite us on the hands if things didn’t go her way. That was in the past and don’t know if that trait still exist in her. Maybe her kids might inherit the biting mechanism. Kids will do all sorts of fun games and end up getting hurt someway. It’s the rules, I suppose.

How does one bite back when injured by another party? I would use the legal system, sue Pete and pals and perhaps, if possible, win a settlement, which seems to be the norm in this country. Sometimes settling out of court is a better option. Who knows? All I see is plain greed by both the plaintiff and defendant but mostly by the legal people who represent both parties.

Going through the legal process is yet another slow bureaucratic process with all its red tape and red-eyed people from crying too much that happen to wear down the nerves of anyone. And by the time any justice, if any, has been handed down by basically and unauthorized person, there is nothing left except the big bill that no one could pay off. There is the bail, if any, then off to jail, which is already full of people with bad energy.

I don’t know too much about the law, the legal system or my basic inalienable rights. I only know that my sovereign rights to exist are absolute and no court system on any land could take action or enact any justice over my head, mind, body or soul. As long as the natural laws and the laws of return are respected, no foreign placed jurisdiction on the original earth keepers’ land I currently call home could replace that right to live free in peace and harmony.

It’s the little tidbits of reality that come from the ‘real’ freedom biters that have taken enough crap to know that all contracts are meant to be broken and forgiven once and for all. There is no such thing as binding like a noose around the neck, the hands or feet when there is love. Unconditional love knows no bound: No man-made law could bite that truth.

  • 20060308-Sun Arise

On your mark, get set, go! That’s how everyone should start every morning, like the race cars that start up fast and speed even faster around each turn of the race track. When the feeling is right and the energy level is high, there is much to do in so little time as part of the daily routine to get ready for work.

I quickly decided to get up, make my bed, open the wooden blinds of the second floor to allow the Sun indoors (for good luck as passed on by Maw from Gigolo), take my shower, brush my teeth, gurgle the stinging mouthwash and put air into my tires inside the garage. I debated whether to buy batteries for my digital camera but decided to blog while my mind is still fresh and alert instead.

Today, I woke up early at 06:30AM because I couldn’t drift back to sleep. My bedroom window is facing in the northern direction while the foot of my bed is facing towards the east. I do not need to use the alarm clock because the Sun happens to shine brightly through the ‘Hunter Douglas’ wooden blinds and my system wakes up automatically.

Sometimes I could tell myself to wake up on a desired time by visualizing the face of the clock and my body synchronizing at the same time. My body is already used to getting up around this time in the morning not unless I ruin the sleeping pattern by blogging into the next morning.

During my growing years in California, I used to feel groggy and sleepy all the time. I slept an average of ten to fourteen hours, like Paw. My system was charging its batteries during those emotional times.

I didn’t cry much after sobbing hysterically at the dinner table that one night after Brat teased me. I had my period then and realized that I had to control my emotions from then on to avoid upsetting other family units.

I was lazy, jobless and had nothing productive to do in my life. I didn’t make my bed, shower, exercise nor did anything that mattered to family units that were much cleaner than me. I left all the cleaning up to my parents because this was their house and wanted to be left alone.

Currently, I find myself going to bed later and sometimes past midnight. This is due to the passions of blogging my memoirs and in poetry, which I never knew I could do before my awakening on V-Day of 02-14-2006.

Drifting off to sleep has not been easy recently because I still have so much to share to the world. Waking up early is now important as I look forward to more stories to compose. It’s almost springtime too and that is significant to someone who likes to arise bright and early in the morning.

  • 20060308-Platitudes Care

Reading comic strips make me laugh and I almost snorted out through my nose these rice pilafs for lunch from the cafeteria downstairs. As I ate lunch, my mind came across this one word, platitudes, which sounded like an animal called a platypus (or duckbills) with attitudes. Platypuses are cute with their bills resembling ducks as they play in their natural habitat of water.

I don’t consider myself an animal but animals with attitudes sound like me when I get angry. Being angry is not nice but there is justified anger when crossed by unwelcome intruders. When angered there is no other outlet but simmering stress that eventually come out as sheer outburst? Nothing could hide a volcano about to blow its top off or the anger of a woman betrayed, hurt or deceived.

When I hear that I have an attitude, I bow to them in silent regard and flip them off mentally. Of course, my face will contort into this red-faced embarrassment upon hearing such remarks from people I hardly know. My aloof composure may need to be more relaxed. But how could I relax when I’m already an anxious person in front of strangers?

I could meditate to bring the calm over me, like grinning widely from ear to ear to keep me from laughing out loud in their faces and work towards a more natural and friendlier smile, which always work for some with nice teeth. And when no one is looking, I may stick out my tongue at them for making fun at me in the first place.

It’s impossible to keep a straight face without looking like some programmed robot without any feelings. I don’t know how people can keep their emotionless state for too long without breathing in the air after someone farted inside the elevator or laughing with the person who did that natural bodily function.

Both good and bad attitudes exist because this defines the person. From my psychology class, any behavior could be modified before the hard core attitudes could budge a little to allow for some improvement. This sounds like an experiment for us all and I don’t like being part of an experiment that may be either beneficial or detrimental to the goals of the researchers.

I tend to act like a sponge soaking up all the communicated information and incorporate what I’ve learned from others and discovered by myself into my sphere. Unfortunately, I also take things personally because it’s hard to separate my truth from theirs.

Like my mutable sign, my attitudes will always adjust to the tune of the changing environment. I don’t wind surf on the waves of North Shore but surfing the internet is as close to taking sides. The battle is trying to find the part of me that cares.

These are my platitudes as expressed via an online journal composed by a simple person, a novice writer and a powerful influence to my small public. I care about making a difference in the world no matter what attitude this blogger has to offer and share. So there! Nyah!

  • 20060307-Stand Stills

Here we go again, it’s time to blog. I try to practice my novice writing skills by blogging at least once a day. My brain is currently at a standstill and had to sit in front of this computer for a good thirty minutes while waiting for the cogwheels in my mind to start spinning.

This almost feels like being stuck in a gridlock during rush hour and not using the restroom prior to leaving work. That is what happened when a car is not used for a long time. The engine, like my writing brain, takes longer to start. I remember dark black smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe of one of our cars due to not using it for two weeks.

Over the years my bio-units paid off in cash a total of seven vehicles and are currently down to two now. It’s all about working hard and saving. Donating these vehicles came from their hearts, of course. And that’s how we are.

I prefer to be the minimalist in the family and let Brat have the headache of paying for the maintenance and repair of these two cars once they are his, if he wants. I already have my gray colored 1996 Ford Mustang and it runs fine except that I have to be careful not to accelerate too fast or I’d start smelling smoke from underneath the hood.

I already spent too much on that car with new tires and its major tune ups at those expensive dealerships, which have the parts anyways. I think my brakes are feeling squishy and it’s making a squeaking noise each time I press the brake pedal. I don’t like my car breaking down on me.

I should utilize the public transportations like VTA buses and BART train system more often instead of looking “cool” in a fast car. I could avoid these harrowing experiences of being stranded, costly repairs, these high auto insurances costs and rising gasoline prices.

We do have these VTA bus stops that are approximately a quarter a mile or so apart. The closest is fifteen minutes away from our house and have traveled that distance on foot while attending high school.

It was when I reached age eighteen that I actually started using a car for attending college. As for the BART system, I use that to go up to San Francisco once in awhile. Next, I’ll learn how to ride the local trains here for fun to found out what it is like.

There is still the option of selling my paid-off, six-cylinders Mustang for a more fuel efficient Hybrid vehicle instead. I may either opt to take the public transportation, buying that Hybrid version for the sake of our environment, carpooling with no real friends, cycling with worn out knees or walking five miles to work on aching feet.

Wouldn’t that be nice if we all could ride on mini hovercrafts that are totally stealthier and sleeker in design and didn’t need the likes of oil or oil derivatives to run the advanced anti-gravity engine? I think this profitable and futuristic opportunity would be much cleaner for our atmosphere and the air we breathe.

I love breathing fresh air. We may be able to avoid these worrisome standstills when there are parts and fuel that never need to be replaced. Oh, but I must be thinking way ahead of our current intelligence because the general populace don’t have access to those transporters or star gates or time-travel technologies. Darn!

  • 20060306-Working Mules

Pack up the mules men, we are headed out. Poor mules have those heavy burdens to carry as part of the job and for the rest of their lives. There is pity and pain but the game is always the same. Work hard and harder until either the mules stop dead in their tracks or get replaced by its owners.

Animals do not need to be used for our selfish purposes. That includes not only hard labor but for foodstuff. How would you like to see your babies traded and never to be seen again, not knowing if the butchers are there around the corner? Or worse yet, how would you like man’s best friend not at but on the dinner table with family member? (This is not a nice example but other countries find Fido as a delicacy).

There is some weird feeling I get as I type this blog that though we cannot hear what the animals tell us, I sense they are hurt and betrayed. Our being evolved and more intelligent creatures than our animal counterparts should not allow or authorize us to think their silence as less than those who could speak our human language.

This reflects how much more inhumane we all could be if we continue to feed off of those considered lower than ourselves. This is injustice not just to our animal friends but of us. And I am not happy right now.

Working is good for the mind and keeps the body active. Working puts profit into both owners and workers alike so as to provide the basic necessities in life, such as food, clothing and shelter.

Working hard together makes the world go round like its belly full of abundance that could be shared with the most impoverish nations. What goes round comes around, like stretch marks across the abdomen during and after pregnancy. And that is the law of return.

Workers that love their jobs have found their piece of heaven and should stay forever until the entity ceases to exist. For most, workers need to work to survive. Mules, like us, work long hours without overtime and tend to sit at our desks during breaks and lunches.

We may not burn out as fast as the real mules that are exposed to the hot baking sun. But the frustration level is always there. There are times when some need a vacation but cannot afford to get a real one because of family issues at home. And home is where the heart is, right?

Wouldn’t that be nice to work from home and still earn some extra cash for whatever purposes while watching television and the kids at the same time? That’s ideal for those who can’t stand being a team member with other struggling mules.

So why be frustrated in the first place? Working, like our mule example, seems like a good deal since we get compensated along with free meals. It’s because no one seems to listen to the complaints and does anything about the festering wounds received from neglect and lack of care.

My understanding has always been that the ‘hardly reliable’ people are sympathetic to the needs of its workers and want only improvements to be implemented in order to retain only the best employees.

I found out that us workers are not always in the best interest of any company and may have been blacklisted for being too honest and too caring about the problems of working for this company. I always thought we work with any company. This is false because any worker is replaceable.

For example, if I continued to complain about all the annoying issues that I could ever report to the ‘hardly reliable’ people, the company could have me removed and fired for being a troublemaker. But firing only burdens the agency paying the unemployed and sure doesn’t make the image of the employer any better.

So there is the other option but to “stay the course” and enjoy the ambiance of the place and only hope to be provided other resources to make me happy. I’m a senior among other seniors and my presence is essential to keep the daily activities flowing well for the company as a whole.

But we all know that in exchange for something better there are bound to be some things more messed up prior to the original complaints. (Who knows what these ‘hardly reliable’ people could cook up for each time an improvement is needed?)

Their tactic is to get the person frustrated so the employee could complain some more and possibly leave and never return. I’ve heard this happen from other people and experienced frustrations at the places I work where the processes are done the hard and long ways.

That is what happened to this guy at work. ‘Joe’ made all sorts of disruptions in unwanted verbal rampages in and around our department that he had to be escorted by others to make sure he didn’t explode and hurt someone. Now, this went on for, say, about a month and I find this behavior quite disturbing. (I wonder how elementary teachers handle their unruly students).

I don’t know if anyone reported him to the ‘hardly reliable’ people but he left the company today and yelled, “I quit! Have a good life!” to Tsete Dung,’ a contractor who sitting at her accounting desk as I passed by between both parties. (As a side note, I assume that these two bug-eyed beings communicate their ‘love’ in a louder than normal manner.)

I guess he wanted me to take a hint and do the same. (I snicker silently to myself and muse: In time, you hard-working fools, my turn is next. I know this is true.) He’s nuts and I’m glad that loser left this company. (I get overprotective of any company that feeds me and like a dog would chew off any hand that hurts master, get it?)

But what happens to our poor mules? Doesn’t anyone care about our wards in the garden of this world? We should perhaps take a closer look at ourselves and determine how we are treating each other at the same intelligence level.

Somehow, I want to paint a better and brighter picture full of positive possibilites but still feel dismayed at the slow progress. I see some slight improvements over the eons and notice that there is still a chance that the ones that were seemingly left behind the scenes are now coming forth to show that they too have a voice in this noise as one.

Perhaps, we all should hold hands and raise the vibration levels up a notch or two. Then we will see how everything goes. Maybe later we could understand what the plant and mineral kingdoms have to say in all this grand scheme of things. What’s that you say? You can feel? Oh, my!

  • 20060306-Noisy Walnuts

The gutter is making noise outside the bedroom of Brat. And he wakes me up at 04:00AM. He wanted to go outside and unclog the noisy gutter. He then proceeded to head downstairs to wake the bio-units from sleep, only to decide later on he better not work on the roof without sufficient daylight.

If only he moved his bed away from against that one wall, he not only reduces the repeated dripping sound from the gutter but he also complies with the feng shui arrangement for a bedroom. I’ve told him to try sleeping in the unoccupied guest room but he went back to sleep in his own bedroom.

I suspect the squirrels have been stuffing their walnuts down the gutters again and causing the backup of leaves and debris that makes for these rhythmic poundings against the psyche of Brat. I love squirrels and watching them play in our backyard makes a short moment of simple pleasure.

They would skitter along the top of our wooden fence, climb stealthily down the post and flick their tails back and forth to test both air and the various plants in their containers, which either hang up in our fruit trees or sit down on cement below or on structure holding the orchids of Maw.

They would dig their noses here and there and find their cache of food, which are those walnuts again. The patches of holes in the lawn and the scattered dirt on the ground are clear signs that the squirrels have been digging in and around our backyard to store their foodstuff.

There is no winning the battles against nature. Squirrels are no doubt the cutest and hardiest rodents I’ve seen that have learned to adapt to the outdoor conditions of our backyard.

Either Paw or I would fill the miniature bird bath with fresh tap water: dragging the garden hose, spraying down the residue left over from birds swimming earlier and waiting for our outdoor friends.

The squirrels drink from this birdbath while small brown birds bathe, jumping and shaking feathers and splashing altogether with as many as a dozen at one time until the bigger blue jays come swooping down to claim fair share of water.

All we need are those friendly, bushy-tailed, beady-eyed little squirrels to disseminate their little gifts of tasty walnuts at those electronic trees that do no justice to the aesthetics our neighbors.

And the walnuts that didn’t have the chance to grow would become tall trees for other little walnuts that once clog up our gutters. Maybe then Brat will be able to sleep well at nights knowing these little gifting critters have done their jobs well for all of us.

  • 20060305-Crooked Ennui

“Je suis ennuie.” I think to myself in French because I do feel bored with the overall cloudy day of gray. I really don’t want to crawl back into bed and waste my time doing nothing. I am not yet bedridden and still am able-bodied; so people should be active during normal waking hours while they still can.

The only time I should be Laying down on my nice canopy bed with its sunny yellow-colored sheets with ruffled edgings is reading a nice book to inspire my ennui days, depressurizing my back by bringing my knees to 90 degrees with feet still on bed, then to the left feeling the stretch (oh, good) and finally to the right hearing the pop (ah, relief) and sleeping with such Skill that dreaming of donuts Dunking over the jail-like fence enclosure of Andersen could make me Fat so much.

Donuts taste good and would have complimented this morning’s Kona coffee blend (of Arabica beans and Kona beans) that Maw had brewed in our miniature plastics coffee maker a few minutes ago. The smell of breakfast creeps upstairs as Dad pan fries the berry farm sausage left over from Christmas and Mom pan fries her garlic flavored fried rice. My mouth is watering from the smell of food from below as I sip my coffee upstairs in my bedroom.

I am blind to love. I did not see how perfect the design of this play has ended. It brought tears of disbelief to my dry eyes. The issues between both Brat and Maw are not my problem. And, honestly, I did not care. My main purpose seems to be the middle ground as each pour their bucket load of beautiful sounds into my two ear holes of how the other operates.

Her mission seems to allow Brat much needed fighting spirit to express, strengthen and defend himself against others that may do him real or imagined harm. His version is to do nothing for her behavior does not justify her actions of provoking the baser emotions in others. I discovered this morning from Maw that both her and Brat are now in good terms.

According to her, Brat said sorry to both his bio-units last night and gave each one a hug and kiss with my Maw blessing him with ‘Amen’ (in Filipino style on the forehead touched with her right knuckles in gorilla-like fashion) in forgiveness. Oh, this is a sweet image coming from that Maw as she reiterates to my ear holes of how beloved Brat could be for apologizing after all that has been said and done over the past few days.

He is her good boy (oink) for being the nice Pig sign, which he is; while I am her bad girl (hiss) for being the mischievous Monkey sign, which I am. Although Maw has branded me as lacking compassion and understanding, my true self dictates that there is no apology necessary to be given by this lazy woman at this time. I still may be this dumb, stupid girl in a body of a thirty-seven year old woman. But I should know better, right?

How crooked are they for stringing me and my heart along in this, my boring life? How could they lower themselves with the base emotions of hate, fear and anger during wartime and then raise themselves with the noble emotions of love, understanding and compassion during peacetime? Why do people like me bother taking sides?

The theme of destruction and creation has been played out all too frequently over the years by both Maw and Brat. And I am often left wondering who are the victims that are so many and easy to prey and where are the rescuers that are so few and hard to find.

Those that hold the middle position have the greatest responsibility as both forces of dark and light, of bad and good and of wrong and right dual each other in a never ending story towards love and peace.

Somehow during my efforts of being true to oneself while learning of the many confusing trials and errors that goes with adjusting perceptions towards many truths, I feel this whistler blowing an old WWI tune into the wind, the “Colonel Bogey March” of the epic movie “The Bridge on the River Kwai” (1957).

  • 20060305-Meeting Uglies

I asked Brat for a word for this new blog, he said ‘Ugh.’ This word is an interjection used to express horror, disgust or repugnance. I had my share of the ugly guys and I am talking about past dating experiences. My encounters with guys have for the most part have been of the ugly variety. They were either too much of one extreme quality or didn’t have that single, never been married with no children attribute that I hope to find in a nice guy.

The ones I’m talking about are not that physically attractive to look at and I was asked, “Why do you date these ugly guys?” I guess I pitied them and they seemed friendly enough because none seemed to want them anyway. I was too naive back then and I wanted to have fun.

Back in 1990, I met a man born Vietnamese/Bolivian out of wartime. ‘Crisp Horrendous’ was very dark, tall and had the ugliest pug face with a lazy left eyeball that popped prominently out of his skull. I know he still watches my house today because he unexpectedly visited in October 2000 and on 09-11-2004, when he inquired if I was still single and mentioned that I should be in politics because of my serious attitude. He knew how to survive outdoors and his knowledge would have been fun. He didn’t want to get married then.

Back in 07-06-2000 via Yahoo! Messenger, I met a finder born of Samoan/German. ‘Laundry Like’ has a great smile with a horrible, buck teeth overbite but was quite honest more than I needed to know. He couldn’t stop flapping his motor mouth because he was born that way. Back in 09-17-2001, he unexpectedly visited my house. We practiced our karate outside my backyard. “Bow to your kata.” He told me since I forgot what I learned in PE class to earn credit as an undergraduate at a college near my current work. He is best at Kung Fu styles. He wasn’t ready to get married either.

Back in 02-2003, this one was dark, shorter and a smoker. ‘Nazal Septum’ seemed nice and was able to get my foot into the door to work. So for a couple of weeks prior to my hire date, we would chat online and my solar plexus sounded a total red flag warning with stomach aches. My hands and feet were ice cold. I knew something was wrong but didn’t heed my inner guidance. I later learned he was married with children. I was disappointed because of all the guys I met there was some mysterious but familiar connection to him as if from some past life. He was Pakistani by descent and my heart broke. He moved on after I saw him 05-23-2003.

Along the way I didn’t feel the urge to meet anymore guys. I could talk to them but I needed to figure out why I attracted the kinds that want to have fun and most tease me like some kid. I don’t look my age up front in real life.

I remember ‘Jerk Kielbasa’ the Polish health nut and sport fan, ‘Beer Boozeman’ the German alcoholic that fell off the scaffolding at work, ‘Martian Gondola’ Mexican health worker that had the cutest brown-eyed boy, ‘Pepper Clob’ the Hungarian holistic practitioner and others that have been in my memory for a short while.

I miss them all and if I could combine their personality traits into one ball that would neat but rare. The result to these characters has either stopped talking or never showed up like ‘Make Her Forget-Thee” who likes to lay out his clothes in the morning. I did not leave any of these relationships in an angry manner. These faded away in time and from memory. Well, some good memories will always stay.

I wonder why my list has not included an Asian. Maybe those good looking nerds are still living with their bio-units like Brat and me. I’ve been told that we only understand our own culture and have yet to find out if this indeed is true to my point of views.

I think that the ugliest part in any relationship is that we are allow the green-eyed monsters to come out and play with our emotions, possess our thought processes and lower our expectations that another nice person doesn’t always reflect oneself in the eyes of the beholder. There is no perfect mate for eternity and many people come out of relationships kicking and screaming due to lengthy divorce settlements and treacherous love affairs.

I wonder why people bother getting involved in a 24/7 relationship. Isn’t hard enough getting out of bed and dealing with the chores of daily bathroom habits, let alone the likes of any significant others with more differences that what I see in the mirror every morning?

Establishing long-term relationships is not important for me in this lifetime; since I believe that there are many more romances out there that will fulfill my every desire.

My astrological reports indicate no planet in my seventh house, House of Marriage. I do not know what that means but this shows I managed to avoid the trilateral agreements that is part of any marriage licenses.

I should enjoy life more as a single person and learn too look past the ugliness and see only the beauty that the world has to offer. One day I would encounter a gorgeous guy who could stop me in my tracks, cause me to drool and melt my heart into butter. I happen to love butter on my popcorn by the way. Care to join me for a romantic movie?

  • 20060304-Pete’s Sake!

People are more dishonest and downright sneaky nowadays and long gone are the open doors and windows to greet both friends during the day and strangers in the night. There are many times from past experiences that allow for better understanding of how to best deal with individuals who lack of compassion towards those with less exposure to the darker aspects of human conditions. Why do people feel the need to act nice when they want something?

Common sense tells us we should be more understanding to the least of our brothers and sisters and forgive the wrongs done by them for they do not know what they are doing. These people darn well know what they are doing and all for the wrong reasons due to lack of moral ethics to treat others better and with dignity and lack of intelligence to show fortitude and forbearance in the face of confrontations or disputes.

Some choose to pull at one’s heart string by calling my cell phone yesterday and reporting a head on collision in a vehicle accident on Tuesday, walking miraculously from the scene and coughing from sounding sick per a business associate named Pete or by calling our house today and trying to deliver Christmas presents to our house after three months of holding these packages hostage per the sister (Malouse) of Paw.

These two real life dramas are either met with silence in no support for the nonsense of delaying a trust in faith or with anger in verbal retaliation by Paw to send back the presents to the givers, respectively. People who operate like these two are unbelievable. But their forgiveness is only when our memories fail us.

For the most part, people seem to behave nicely at first and smile behind a mask of indifference. Imperfections in people exist and fault finding plays as a common theme with my relatives. The most involved relatives in each other’s affairs are mostly the women.

Sometimes they get the in-laws involved because they themselves cannot resolve their problems within the family. I often wonder why they bother convincing others to contribute their time and money for efforts that do not always work to bring the relatives together.

For example, I do not understand why two registered nurses (Malouse and Maldeath) dumped old granny in the nursing home in December 2005. Old granny cannot get around much because the daughters either refuse to buy old granny a wheelchair (due to the place of ‘Mal-Low’ is too small) or to take care of her (due to the husbands are mean). My relatives should be honest and let us know exactly why they have taken that course of action after the fact.

Old Granny Lose does not belong in the nursing home because like most residents want some company and would cry almost every time someone comes over to visit. This is truly sad because I am powerless to have her live in a better place and have only my prayers for her happiness. My family and I don’t visit her anymore because it hurts to see old granny that way of playing dumb.

Basically ignoring people with bad attitudes seems to be an alternative. And that works fine for us living in the South Bay over the years of not really knowing these East Bay lifestyles. Since we live too far from them to travel such long and stressful distances, we no longer attend their parties either.

This saves us money from buying useless gifts that might end up either thrown away and never to be seen again or recycled from the hidden recesses of the closets for someone else’s party and heartache from knowing that, for whatever reasons being, still make a big deal for not visiting them in the first place. It’s nice to know they still send us invitations though.

Some people will never truly learn that eventually we mostly misunderstood people with nothing but positive outlooks in life will have learned their devious ways of being the wolf in sheep clothing’s and sucker punch them where the truth really counts.

The forms of punishment are always the truth. Nothing could beat the almighty truth of letting a piece of one’s mind be known straight forwarded and without restraint and if kicking their rear ends justify the means for a much needed awakening for taking too long to evolve towards a better good.

Oh, and will you all, for Pete’s sake, please grow up and learn to stop stepping all over each other to prove you are not different but no better than the rest of us? Come on!

  • 20060304-Breaking Straws

“Peace is with you, Maw.” My little brat (old soul) said to my Maw (insecure child). Nothing but silence lingered in the air. Then the heated arguments would ensue with the child throwing her tantrums of kicking, screaming and crying at the founded soul of old wisdom.

Whatever has been transpiring between these two recently has escalated to the final battle of hearts. I do not know who will win. Both parties are expected to end their stage act soon enough. And I am excited to find out how this tragic play will end.

The evolution of anyone person is tremendous and I see great things about to happen. brat will move onward towards better days with his heart’s desire and a new house. Maw will be more restful knowing the boy has proved himself to be better. Paw will remain the same calm figurehead of the family.

And, as for me, well, my purpose as I have known for the past six years is to be the anchor that holds the vast cargo ship from a drifting beyond its limits. I’ve been dragging together my hopes and fears knowing some ‘Moron’ will pull through with love and hope for all of us. My will is no longer their betrayals of my heart.

The past few months have been a great test for us here so far. I feel springtime is almost upon us. I do hope the higher realms are not laughing too much at us. For we have all come a long way to figure out that there must be answers as to why we break each others’ backs over three dimensional efforts instead of breaking bread in peace.

There have been many moments of despair and disappointments with Maw. Laughing with us during this battle of wits among the likes of us Twits is helpful. For this same laughter within us paves the sincere purpose to be better than our current selves. I would prefer a comedic ending in this play by the way.

It’s not funny when Maw has claimed prior to the arrival of brat one hour and a half ago that I have no compassion or understanding. I almost lost my voice in choked up tears from being brought into the level of their playing fields. Yes, I’ll admit I am lazy woman. I do not like vacuuming, dusting, cooking, gardening or taking care of others’ businesses.

I prefer not getting close to people who instill fear-based thinking into others like brat and myself and suck our energies dry. There is still hope for the few who wish to be free from the daily chores that are no fun either.

This Maw may experience many lifetimes to learn from past mistakes and wrongs that she still today denies to have ever committed. I find that anyone self-proclaiming no sin whatsoever and that the heavens would embrace them when the time comes has wishful thinking and may have hit the wall themselves without their knowledge. I have observed this in other relatives who have lost loved ones and they too self-proclaim to have been sinless in their own minds. Broken hearts do have wild imaginations, I’m afraid.

What I have learned during the one hour discussion with brat is how much philosophical bent I’ve bestowed on this already enlightened soul. I merely reflected and discussed with him what I’ve gained from reading articles online. I’ve learned there is no room for dishonesty and hurtful conversations anymore.

I did my job well because I seem to have acted as a catalyst for this cleansing process of healing the emotional baggage between brat (for now) and Maw (later on). My hope is to make sure brat continues forward towards well-being and more children to reflect his happiness.

Oh, I can’t wait for the blessed events of many smaller feet versions of myself through the children, if any, of brat. Hey, my turn in producing at least one heir should be next, if possible at all.

For the meantime, I am caught in the middle. Both Paw and Maw downstairs will be taken cared of by me in their old age (if my future husband, if any, doesn’t mind). I will try to balance my devotions to both my parents of old outdated patterns of a Filipino culture not befitting today’s enlightened adults and brat who provides the kindred spirit of renewed hope in me from this caged-in box of an upstairs bedroom that has comforted me all this time.

I hope that this bag full of warm pandisal, a much larger and tastier Filipino version of dinner rolls, would suffice in as I fling said items with gusto towards any straw man that crosses my path ever again. Maybe then my aching back won’t hurt so much from being stepped on mercilessly or back stabbed unknowingly.

  • 20060304-Casting Aways

People need homes to call their own with all the comforts of home furnishings, modern conveniences and a large grassy backyard containing a swimming pool, a barbecue cooking section for bio-units luncheons and a garden maze for the kids to play.

People want houses to ‘have’ for showing off to bio-units and friends and don’t mind struggling to make payments on mortgages that could never be paid off in a lifetime (like my hard working cousins in their newly purchased houses up in San Ramon, CA).

Others find no other means to afford the illusion of home ownership and end up living in their trucks somewhere out back at a bio-unit’s yard or walking the streets begging for money and being in and out of shelters.

The process of escrow, for example, for any home buyer is tedious. Parties involved have to know what they are doing because ownership of property is a commitment. This is like being married only it’s not a live person. Cash up front as down payment of some ten or twenty percent, whatever the case may be, is required in order to secure a property that other buyers may end up outbidding.

Some may put their prides down far enough to ask bio-units members, relatives or friends for some cash to qualify for a home loan. Others learn to work hard and not risk the embarrassment of later finding out that the original lenders may have interest in the properties or have sentiments of helping the borrowers.

A similar event occurred with Twit and her boyfriend, Brat. Both did not have cash for down payments. Last Sunday, the agent had told ‘Windy’ to get Brat to write a check to cover the three percent of escrow. I think the agent wanted her commission up front. The red flag in this relationship has been this big issue of who could match the down payment so that the bum brother (of Twit and after living in her condo for four years without working) won’t be allowed to move into the potential new house of this nice but ignorant couple.

The key answer is to have her sell her condo prior to getting a new house; since she has more leverage in the relationship. (This seems like a given for a couple where women have more power in some mysterious ways). Twit and Brat are perfect for each other. I wish I could be there for both of them in times like these, as well as for certain innocent folks forced into homelessness. They will always have my best interest, on my behalf.

Who, in the real world, has real cash? The illusion is not backed by any real gold standards and so cash in this sense doesn’t exist. I certainly do not have cash. If I had cash to spend, I would be living on them hills, Beverly Hills.

I have my bio-units to thank for their kind arrangement of staying at home and rent free. I avoid being homeless and stay within secured comfort. The price is my freedom of going in and out of the house freely without offering explanations of my whereabouts, after the curfew of being home before midnight.

By not owning real property, I free myself from the responsibilities of paying for property taxes, monthly mortgages, home insurances and utility bills. And I’ve been told the best way to go is to live in an apartment, which is something that I’ve never had the chance to try.

The idea of sharing the same walls, however, is not as private as a single residence that I’m living in. And I cherish my personal space so I could compose my blogs in quiet solitude, play on my Kimball piano, take pictures out back and walk indoors free and uninhibited in pink underwear during nights for a glass of warm milk.

I’ve been told to invest in real property. What would happen if the real estate market busts after some t-bills are sold en mass, if ever. Why would I want to work long hours, lose sleep, risk fatigue and get bags under my already tired eyes?

Why should I allow some lousy lenders to take away my life savings of hard earned pennies and have them rub their fat, grubby, grease-laden palms in delight at another deal that lands them a large commission, an all expense paid vacation and a better sense of pride in fooling others into the dreamless state of paper trails that seem to get shredded into oblivion as if nothing could ever come of starting the whole process of debt?

Those that are lucky enough to own property once shared under the sovereign rights of the earth keepers now segmented into reservations should not think for once that their ownership of paid off or invested properties belong to them. Nothing in this world belongs to anyone at any moment.

Anything that appears to be shared by all is but another illusion by those global elites who hold onto our throats until we bleed them more money to pay off their creditors. And the cycle of debt never seems to stop there either.

  • 20060303-Creature Cooties

For those tuning into my blogs, I have uploaded some pictures of flowers and plants with snowballs. The other five pictures are still being uploaded due to my slow dial-up connection. In the meantime, I feel a sneeze coming on: `Aaachooo`! I say, `Gezuntheit` to myself. The winter season of molds and mildew is not yet over and the onset of pollen season for the allergy sufferers is the beginning.

Have you ever notice certain people would mysteriously cough or sneeze for no apparent reason as they walk by without being aware that their abnormal behavior is unhealthy? I believe these crazy people are easy targets to spot and should be watched by the evil H/R department (if they care).

These losers continue to spray their germs, viruses or other contagion into the indoor air randomly for people walking by to inhale at this workplace. Gosh, come to think of it, these losers don`t cover their mouths! If I wanted to expose myself to the likes of these carriers of misfortune, I`d go the places like the hospitals, blood cross banks, drug stores and health clinics.

Perhaps I could protect myself from some unknown dreaded disease by getting myself shots of flu, booster, immunization or the good stuff that turns the nose red. I think we all could use the good stuff once in awhile. But I`m being facetious here and really do not like needles or being poked in the arm or elsewhere on my body by some stranger. Needles hurt and you all know that is true.

Having to rely on someone else to give shots of unknown substances should be especially considered terrifying. Imagine a sharp instrument being pointed menacingly at oneself and thinking it will do a body good. I am not being paranoid but I do not always believe that the experts of the advanced medical technologies are in our best interests. I love my being and my body, including a clear mind to know better than to submit to any entries thereof.

The main issue has been providing the path of unnatural medically induced life assistance to prolong one`s life. Anything created by Mother Earth is natural. Anything created by beings is unnatural. This forces unnatural risks for evolving species-human, animals, vegetables, vitamins or minerals. For example, how could one watch as a loved one slowly dies without dignity knowing that artificial means have been authorized to prolong the suffering of both bio-units and patient?

We are truly blessed to have the comfort of being well taken cared of by the medical community but at what price. Could our children be harmed for being inoculated against some unknown hysteria master-minded by some hidden agenda? Could the poor countries and older folks here benefit from some unknown substances prescribed by the `professionals` of health and health-related organizations? Could we all avoid reliance on the pharmaceutical industries and drug companies?

There should be a way to reduce the sicknesses that have invaded our lives and our society and we could start with this fine scenario. There are these bug-eyed, booger monsters (literally because they are the nasty sort of creatures) at my work that needs immediate spraying with a dose of medicinal reality and to once and for all bug off with their cooties from the face of the earth.

Maybe then our lives and well being will be more peaceful and substance free. But seriously folks, there are natural and holistic remedies that are quite beneficial and we could re-learn these ways of healing ourselves.
