  • 20060223-Better Blogging

Good morning or midnight. I didn’t nap well and I thought I’d blog again.

It seems like I could type almost anything online and I think it’s better to be honest and not hide anything but discerning at the same time. Too much ranting and raving from yesterday’s blog allowed me to realize that I could do something better than to list the mundane of daily activities.

I like the short chronological, one-line sentences. It’s easier and faster than having to watch every spelling and grammar that may slow down the blogging experiences.

In addition, I didn’t like the listing of every bit and pieces of stray thoughts/events that could possibly occur in one freaking day. (I’ll have to watch my language, which probably reflects my Mars mouth tendencies.)

This time I’ll try the long way of typing out in longer and wordier sentences. How you’d like that for a change? I’ve already added a “Note to self” section at the bottom of each blog to tie up the day in a more positive tone.

Hey! I care about improvements and hope you all will too. I could go on and on and learn that talking to me in this manner is quite refreshing in releasing the inner self-the creative, “Wile E. Coyote” super genius.

  • 20060223-Port Deals

I came across an article regarding the secret agreement between the White House and a company in the United Arab Emirates and I thought I’d shared my take on the whole matter via this blog.

There should be proper security to cross-check the activities of the six major American ports. And I feel there should really be no danger or anything to fear at this point in time. Fear is a good way to gauge the comfort level of any group and thereby make improvement towards the better good. (And I know you all are better at making anything seem good).

What I do not like is any ‘secrecies’ behind closed doors. There is really nothing to hide and as long as everything is laid out in plain public view there would be fewer cure in the near and long-term future for the initial ounce of preventions by disclosures.

Sure there would be lots of questions and concerns raised along the way. You know what happens when there is lots of poop made behind closed door? There has to an exit to allow the fumes to escape somehow or else be overwhelmed by the stinky smelly results.

With the ongoing globalization and interests of international investors in the United States, it would be like shooting only at us (like a recent incident that made headlines). For example, it would be a shame to have one of our body parts turn gangrene from neglect and lack of proper care.

The point is that United States should continue to connect and expand with other countries, especially the most poverty stricken ones. Soon there would be no such thing as protecting these geographic political borders from greed.

Who knows? Maybe we all could be working in foreign lands of our calling, learning new languages and culture for free and being adopted into new family unit(s). (I think I’ll type my insights on adoptions later on).

Some may choose to fight and participate. Others may choose to sit back and be spectators. As long as we think there could only be of positive progress in any endeavors, so be it. Otherwise, there is only the accountability left by each individual. Either we all take the fall together or unite in peace.

  • 20060223-Egghead Blogging

Good morning again and rise and shine ahead of the Sun, which has not yet appeared from behind the hills of Mt. Hamilton, CA. I feel a bit tired and want to crawl back into bed and try to recover my missing hours of beauty rest from blogging earlier this morning.

After a week of blogging, I realize that I could only be human with simple pleasures and simple expectations in this life time. Perhaps, if I try much harder and with sheer will power, I could pursue more divine endeavours.

Wouldn’t that be a grand idea? To find oneself in this great but fragile world of ours we call home amongst some other six billion souls?

I would like to get past this stage of seed, the feeling of being an unhatched egg. Or have I already broken out of my confines of self imprisonment? I think I have more self assessment to dwell upon.

  • 20060222-Holding Hands

Why do we need to hold hands? Is it to love, to be closer and to knowing that there is comfort in someone else’s presence? I think we need each other for guidance and directions, basically.

First, these people may not be thinking on their own yet and have a clear need for babysitting of step-by-step instructions on what should be done next. Sometime, they have a sense of urgency that answers need to be provided to these ‘Morons’ (pardon my language here) by us more clueless people.

This day showed me that co-workers are not there to torture the smart ones. But they do not have any clear idea how the processes at work should be handled. To show patience and understanding to these crazed co-workers in a professional manner without pushing their buttons to the point of their explosive behavior is difficult.

Second, these people may have hit the wall and became nut balls without my knowing. My observation thus far is that the ones who when through the top two major stresses of death and divorce are the most prone to nut ball episodes.

No wonder these guys seem to gravitate towards me, who has never been married or have kids. They seem to know my down-to-earth nature. Others still cannot figure me out, which is fine because I could care less. It is too bad they still carry their emotional baggage for me to carry.

Third, these people may be stressed out and need to project their anger and frustrations on us calmer individuals. I personally am a loner and consider myself quite shy and reserved. So when people start showing their true monster side of being mean and annoying, I remember that I was once there and now have a more profound understanding of their infantile behaviors.

I will, however, lash out in reflection of their bad attitudes and this is an area that I will personally try to improve. It’s not a perfect world; it’s a harsh world. If these difficult people continue to put me through more crap, I say rebuke them nicely and diplomatically and show them a piece of my pie-hole.

  • 20060221-People Connecting

Connecting with other people and sharing is joyful, less lonely, reduces boredom and does wonders for the mind. I found that out by chatting via Yahoo! Messenger. Somehow we all need to get together and discuss ideas and not have to be afraid of any truth, no matter how hurtful.

But what is truth? My reality indicates that mine is always right and everyone else could be wrong. So if everyone else thinks they are right in their own realities, does that leave no-one as being wrong? You could either agree with me on this topic or be plain wrong.

I think the world is perfect the way it is. Everyone has a time and place perfectly meant for whatever purpose, whether divine in nature or simple in design. It takes each individual to figure that particular goal or destiny.

  • 20060220-Well Being

Eating and resting the body well does rejuvenate the spirit. I don’t know how many times I’ve been told to eat well and stop polluting my body. But do I ever listen to my own body, let along others who take notice of me?

I’ve been reading articles on how to detoxify the body and cleanse the liver. I’ve put on these extra pounds (thanks to my good eating from Maw’s cooking and lack of good exercise) and those are now located in my thighs and buttocks.

These past few weeks I now have this very hot, red dry skin that leads to rashes and such. It’s annoying but I have been hydrating with plenty of liquid, which happens to be my daily coffee habit and bottled waters, along with juice of orange or lemon found in the refrigerator at home. I tried taking hot showers, use strong soaps and scrub the affected areas with pumice stone but to no avail.

Frequent rests and sleep are something that I do well without practice. I’ve noticed that when I eat too much carbohydrate I tend to get sleepy as the blood from my brain leaves to digest food below. Or if I get those occasional energy drains from unknown sources, I get sleepy and have to lie down.

So this day my window was wide open and that crisp, clean air billowed into my bedroom and allowed for the almost entire day of rest. How does she do it? It’s easy when there is no distraction or care in the world for this very spoiled brat, which I am.

So it’s up to my big brain to start the computer programming of living well and being kinder to myself.

  • 20060219-Photo Blogging

Taking photographs of nature and sharing online provides outlet for creativity. I cannot believe how beautiful the skies could be with all the nice fluffy white clouds above and abundant plant life below.

I could have stayed the whole day outdoors taking pictures of all the passing clouds with all the different shapes and sizes. The fluffiest clouds are always the prettiest.

The SW corner of the backyard provides the best source for cloud formations. Sometimes I try to take pictures from the second story window, which could use some cleaning for clearer snap shots.

The NE corner of the house has views of nice clouds but the trees and houses get in the way. The clouds hovering over the Mt. Hamilton hills are too far. My camera doesn’t zoom that far away.

Today, I tried taking quick pictures of the various flowering plants and maybe one fruit out back. I didn’t notice how wild the plants could grow without our having to weed out the ones that don’t belong. Any living things belong somewhere.

I don’t why people take the time to figure out which plant life is weed from native species. Weed (not the one for smoking or for medicinal purposes, people!) looks pretty if left alone, I guess. But then again, those weeds could grow profusely and later won’t look as good when once small.

There are so many nice cloud that I could have uploaded. But due to slow dial-up connection, I uploaded the one(s) I thought were the prettiest.

  • 20060218-Upgrading Stuff

Upgrading, much like one’s evolution towards the better good, seems much better when there is a clear need. For example, I could upgrade to DSL but then I still like my inexpensive dial-up service. So there is no need for me to upgrade at this time because I don’t use the multimedia as much.

Another example is that we are better connected when the lines are clear and thoughts and intentions are good. There is no room for being less than good. For the time being, I suppose the rain and the slow connection will just do fine.

  • 20060217-Little Blessings

We must look for little blessings amidst the boredom of white-collar jobs. Sugar coated donuts, nice weather, delicious soup, a cozy job that builds my self confidence and, lo and behold, snow on Mt. Hamilton hills make me realize how blessed I am-thanks Sweetie! I do not even know why I could ever be so bored in any one day with such simple beauty around me.

Next time, I should bring my camera wherever I go to intercept those special moments with pictures and share my small world with everyone. I was truly disappointed that I couldn’t get nicer pictures of the snow along the hill tops. At least I had three small pictures taken with my camera phone this day.

  • 20060216-Nice Weather

It is always nice to take a moment to look above everyday. Ever notice how beautiful the day seems when there is nice weather? The sky seems bluer and much clearer lately.

Now I feel hopeful and positive in this mundane and sometimes boring life of mine. The golden-colored Sun seems much brighter also. It’s always good to know that we have solar energy to warm both our planet and our hearts.

    I like feeling good today.

  • 20060215-Second Blogging

Sharing one’s thoughts online is much better with faster connection. This is the second blogging day and I didn’t realize how much fun this experience could be.

Once again the weather is wonderful and breath-taking. I don’t know what is in the air but there is a definite uplift in vibration and sense of serenity and of peace.

    I’ll keep blogging, I believe.

  • 20060214-Happy Vday

To start any project may be slow and difficult. But once the ball starts rolling, there’s no stopping. This goes without saying that blogging is one of my projects that I didn’t realize I could enjoy. This will be my new hobby.

I’ve taken old and new pictures and uploaded whatever I could into this profile of mine. I’ve spent the whole night pretty much just trying to get the basics underway. There is so much to think about that it make my brain happy.

Now, as for love, there is none and have been free and clear from relationships of the opposite sex for quite awhile. I’ve greeted some newbie chatters Happy V-Day and that made my day.
