I don’t know who chose my name. Perhaps the naming convension for Filipinos was a common practice (and probably easier to remember and of pride) by taking the first letter of the parent’s first name and creating a name based on that letter. For example, if the mother’s name is Mabeline, then the daughter’s name could be Margaret. If the father’s name is George, then the son’s name could be Greg.

The only time I’ve ever been on fire was when I had my hemorrhoids! That’s right! The tissues came out and the over-the-counter creams didn’t help alleviate the symptoms of fire burning! The digestive enzymes I took was too strong for my innards, which of course retaliated and therefore after a bout of several gaseous farting episodes did they come out of hiding one day! The nights were unbearable. Sitting was excruciating.
And the primary doctor offered to tie it off with the rubber band so as to CHOKE OFF the precious blood supply to the VERY sensitive rectal area and allow the dead tissues to fall off on their own. That ideas wasn’t too likely to have occurred. For one night, I decided to stick one bold finger up my behind and force the TENDER inflammation back indoors — VERY slowly. And with brute force, the sphincter muscles were tightened to keep them from rolling back outdoors.
Alas, the self-help technique removed the burning sensation. Later on, a benevolent suggested to wash my butt hole with the HOTTEST water tolerable. WARMER water tends to shrink the hemorrhoid, not the cold water. With a new habit in place, a pitcher of HOT water is used to clean the behind (much like a bidet). The result is proof on a much CLEANER toilet paper. Try it. It works better than wiping dry skin.

For my last meal, I want two blocks of Beef-Flavored, Top Ramen with lots of soup! Damn! That’s stuff is good and was something the I grew up with. Today at eNoodles (off McCarthy Blvd. in Milpitas, CA), I had a $9.50 “Seafood Udon Noodle Soup” served in a white-colored, square-shaped, ceramic-glazed dish. I’ve had Vietnameser Pho; pan-fried, yellow (egg) noodles, spaghetti and other noodles. But I’d rather have my Top Ramen.

Topic #82: What do you want for your last meal? Assume price / logistics / etc. is no object (but somehow I doubt the most expensive things are what you’d really want) -

Do “yoga” and “tai-chi” count as “non-exercise” activities? If I could train under a “master” in either of these fine art of keeping fit, not only physically but mentally, then I’d like to try.

I’m not telling! But if you must know, the biggest risk that I’ve ever taken in this current lifetime occurred many SLONG years ago. It involves TPTB and investing in the future and purely based on speculations. That’s right! I didn’t know what I was getting myself into and why I was so gullible to believe these people, who could may well be from “out of this world.”
It started out by meeting these complete strangers online and then in person. And during the course of several discoveries, I didn’t realize what a pickle I’ve gotten myself into! Yes, I love eating pickles! And, boy, I did eat more than I could chew off: the burden of my debt.
But the initial “tests” were necessary to find out if “God’s love” changes. These tests are still being conducted to this day. And through God’s blessing, with God’s assurance and in God’s will, perseverance prevails and I’ve lost nothing — not my sanity, not my trust.
The only loss was not being able to make my own children — the true investment. Instead, my other option is to take care of “my family” and, boy, that’s alot of mouths to feed. The only thing holding me back is sufficient income to be their adopted parent or guardian.
And that’s where TPTB is supposed to “step-in”. I await for them to fulfill the promises and guarantees to these people. After all, it is their planet.

There is NOT one strange thing that ever happened to me not on a bus; airplane or any mode of transportation. While driving my car along the way, I’d see many synchronous events, such as people getting in and out of their vehicles to open up their trucks; numerical values doubling or tripling on my car’s dashboards and people’s CA license plates; and homeless people holding up signs and looking into my general direction to see if I’d give them a free handout.
Other than that, I’d wish I had someone hand me a bucket of free lottery tickets and at least one winning lottery ticket for the mega game.

Topic #78: What is the strangest thing that’s ever happened to you on a bus? Bonus: If you don’t take buses often, how about on an airplane? While driving to work? While walking home from school? And if nothing strange has ever happened to you while using transportation of any kind, what is the strangest thing you can think of that you wish had happened to you while using transportation? -

I couldn’t keep my parental units in the dark about my financial hardship. Sure, I was able to stay afloat with unemployment benefits after my REAL job but the funds ran out. Had it not been for the networks of certain “fellow brothers” and of certain “gifted folks”, I wouldn’t have landed this “temp job from hell”.
But because TPTB and pals continue to make excuses and fail to keep their words by promises and guarantees (in a timely manner) and for the fact that one “squire” and another “well-paid, taxpaid entity” know the truth, I had to accept their blessed monetary gift to help pay a debt settlement company and to keep from going insane.
These tough economic times contributed to my distress. The miscalculation of my karmic debt lead to spending more than earned. And I will continue to spend what I don’t have. That’s bad and a gambling addiction, too. Moreover, the lack of trust to rely on the ones who love me was broken. It was through me that others continue to take advantage of this elderly couple.
It was their perseverance to save all they could — not splurging on food at restaurants, partying at social events, traveling to places or interest or buying unnecessary modern comforts. As a result, they are able live comfortably during their retirement years and most importantly help others: the boy and his a house; our impoverished relatives and Balikbayan boxes; and me from TPTB, who still owe me BIG TIME!!!

Topic #77: Write about the biggest secret you failed to keep. Bonus: If you don’t want to write the secret itself, why do you think you failed to keep it? Do you know anyone that could have kept it? Have you learned more about yourself such that you are strong enough now to keep a similiar secret? -

I have no favorite number. I just happen to notice a pattern of double to triple digit numbers. But no one numerical significance is placed on a concept of fixation: I’m number or omega. I could find favor with “Pi” of 3.14 but that’s only a ratio. So it shouldn’t and doesn’t matter if I find favor with a zero or infinity: A finite number doesn’t suit me in my broad understanding of existing.

Whenever I find the time, my muse comes out — sometimes naughty and sometimes nice. The topic must pop into my mind and then my brain must remember the details. For example, while using the toilet and reading an inspirational page on “God’s love is unchanging”, my muse was on hold because of this Lenten Season project of scanning, archiving and shredding old paperwork from many slong years ago.
I thought to myself and wondered if others would try to change their rituals in numerology, astrology, and other “infantile behaviors”, hoarding habits of collecting objects, addictions to drugs, alcohol, sex and video games and mostly holding on traditions that annoy others.
Who told you to continue a path that is obviously made up by old timers, who are along gone and dead? Who told you that you’d die or be condemned to hell for disobeying laws that people cannot follow? Who told you that if I’m not happy, you’re not happy? The world is meant to to change. Even love interests change. It’s the truth.
As for muse, she has no fixed schedule or need to conjure up anything to make a blog entry happen.

Topic #76: How do you find your muse? When you sit down to blog, or have a creative project of any kind you need to work on, how do you get yourself motivated to do it? What are your rituals or habits? -

Among the smartest and brightest,
I see only one face that matters — life.
And through my many eyes of colors,
I seek only one kind soul that would
bring life back into my solitary world. So I smiled everyday and waited,
hoping you’d come by and stay
for awhile and drink of my nectar
and find some comfort and rest
before your long journey back home
to your hungry and growing family. If only I could fly back with you and
be close to you and your loved one,
then I’d feed you well before winter’s cold
sets in when you could no longer fly.But here I am. Enjoy the beauty of
our friendship as nature intended.Author’s note: Instead of taking my own photo, I’ve decided to write poetry on Matt’s weekly photo challenge.
