  • 20100507-Wishful Thinkings

I’ve been reading online about how people would pray to an unseen `Savior` or connect to higher levels of spirituality. And all of this is about wishes to be answered. I believe faith is blind, period. I believe science has more validity than anything else so far. Junk science has no room on this planet.

Anyway, there is a Biblical passage about a barren old woman named [St.] Elizabeth, who was `miraculously` pregnant at six months. And of course her cousin [the virgin] Mary came by to visit one day. Surely there is a logical explanation. Maybe the couple hasn’t tried `hard enough` or that simply the woman knew how to avoid getting pregnant.

Whatever the story is, medically speaking, without a womb, the possibility of bearing a child with VERY remote. I recall my former manager, a Navajo. She was divorced but got married to a Mexicano. I see in her eyes that she loved him. His haircut was not professional, though. It looks like he wasn’t sincere.

And out of her love for this guy, she kept telling us her wish. With her outstretched right hand reaching upward and upturned face looking towards the sky, she would proclaim to the rest of her underlings as if beckoning the unseen `God`:

`I pray for a blessed miracle that one day I could bear his child.`

    ~Corinne A.

But she admitted in whispered tones within earshot of my presence to Leoni R., my former superior, that she had a hysterectomy. The old fart was of course mocking `God` and her inability to conceive the fruits that so many women take for granted. For moi, I don’t regret having children. Eventually, these brats will have their own attitudes and behaviors.

So there you go folks. This is reality. Believe in science. But it’s up to each and every scientists to prove their theories and cross check each other to avoid hurting future generations. They owe it to everyone, really. And the religious organization had better tell the truth too and stop scamming suckers into believing in miracles.

At around 10:30pm, the divorced nutter rang the doorbell twice. I had a feeling it was her because we rarely get someone who rings our doorbell at night. Those that ring the doorbell at that late in night are, well, possessed people (or witches).

I recall what my maternal uncle had said when we visited the Philippines for the first time in 1976:

    `Don’t answer the door. It’s a witch.`

    ~Sengyong

Now that occurred in the night when everyone was inside enjoying our visit. The light in house was bright. Everyone stopped talking and froze in their positions when we heard someone knock at the door.

    —

Maw and I were upstairs and for whatever reason. We too froze in our position at the height of the landing. After a few moments of deliberation, Maw went back to her room while I softly made my way downstairs to check on Paw.

It seems that Paw had peeped through the blinds and motioned to me with his right hand and near the alter that it was the `sirah` (or crazy).

Then at 10:36pm, the phone rang. We have caller ID and I sort of rang roughly downstairs to let Paw know not to answer the phone. He knew who it was because he was still writing in his journal. He looked up at me and said:

    `She is still crazy.`

So that is the final answer. The divorced nutter is possessed and won’t change. Noone in her right mind would continue to cause trouble with her neighbors. Noone should answer the door at night. Don’t invite trouble. Either turn off the light at night and don’t make too much noise. Let the kids go to sleep early and such. It’s for everyone’s safety, really. Just my two cents.

To the SJPD: Yesterday’s blog entry about her `redemptive cries` is just a ruse, a smokescreen, for she will never be healed, I’m afraid. I no longer feel sorry for people with psychological problems. They are beyond repair.

Also, at 10:36am, I went online and to our phone account and entered her number to be BLOCKED. That is for the record, please, and for our safety. But the message keeps stating `Please wait. Thank you for your patience.` The circle of blue and gray dots continue in a counter-clockwise direction! I wonder if our request has been processed! OMG! What’s going on???

Please wait. Thank you for your patience.
  • 20100506-Staying Late

I’ve been staying late in order to administer Maw’s midnight medication. At the same time, I’m still messing around with my weblog. This time I’ve switched to yet another WordPress.com theme: `ChaosTheory`.

    PROs:

    • Dark and blue.
    • Time/date stamps for both front page and single views.
    • Top navigation bar.
    • Two bottom footers (or bottom bars).

    CONs:

    • Longer post entry titles encroach just short to the text on the right.
    • No custom header, only widgets and TypeKit fonts as other `freebies`.
  • 20100505-Beautiful Day

Today is beautiful! The skies are crispy, clear and blue. The winds blow nicely. The air is warm enough for the parakeet to get some fresh air. Maw is more alert after discovering her potassium levels are too high. Paw did some yard work out back, pulling up those nice purple flowers of ground covers.

  • 20100505-Redemptive Cries

At 7:30am, I was starting my car in order to move it from behind the Mercedez Benz to behind the Mazda Protege. Then in the rear view mirror, I caught a glimpse of the white car of the next door neighbor going from right to left. Then I hear the nutball waving and smiling to me. She asked if I was going to work. We exchanged a few words and I said: `Pa-sen-sha`, which is `Peace`.

She went to hug me while I was in my car. She said she has no sisters, who probably abandoned her for being too stubborn and claimed I’m her sister. I told her Filipinos are not nasty. It was the free loading, illegal alien of a mestizo Honduran, her second husband, who drove her to be `bastos`.

She then hugged and cried to Maw to ask forgiveness and that she wanted to turn her life around. Maw told her to let the house go; so that she could move on with her life away from the man and his relatives, who are also freeloading on the hard-working, tax-paying Visayan.

The conversation went on about being strong and more positive. We continued to hug and say we loved her as a fellow `bayan`. She knows she has the strength to overcome her life-long depression and fear of the foreigner.

I crossed her forehead with my right thumb and placed my right palm on her tiny, black haired of a head as a blessing. I tried to boost her with my left palm on between her shoulder blades. I was wearing the triangular-shaped orgone pendant. I had another old orgone pendant in my right, black jean pocket.

We had to leave at 8:45am for Maw’s doctor’s appointment and the conversation ended with the nutter walking away with a headache. She didn’t go to work today because of her headache.

  • 20100505-Bad Business

A few minutes ago, I just read a dedicated blogger’s recent post entries about oil prices being jacked up (or rather rigged – pardon the pun – as in the destruction of oil rigs off the Gulf of Mexico in recent news.

As mentioned in my previous blog entries, old souls said nukes from submarines may have caused the lives of the oil rig workers and eventually the destruction of water creatures as well as wetlands.

Many years ago, I recall the contact putting out his dark blue suit and pants. It laid on the hotel bed. I believe the size of the clothing would be double, if not triple, extra large. He motioned with his right hand above the two items as if swatting away an imaginary fly but to show disdain for Westernized clothing.

He would prefer wearing a `lava-lava`. I didn’t know what was a `lava-lava`. I asked stupidly and of course the twosome smiled and replied kindly that it is a material that is wrapped around the waist and is worn like a skirt of various length from the knee down. The material is usually printed with flowers, I think.

So yes, the oil companies don’t care about getting rid of their excess inventory of oil; thus, they could justify raising oil prices. Now I see the propaganda of a natural disaster will cause countless lives lost – both humans and non-human species. And that drilling for oil within the territories of America won’t be such a good idea. Watch and see.

  • 20100504-Sylphs Ahoy

The three of us decided to walk around Townsend Park (City of San Jose). From 11:05pm to 11:40pm, we encircled the park twice but at a very slow pace. Maw pushed me her wheelchair about a few feet but at about the last quarter of the way she had to sit down the rest of the way because I was too heavy for her to push!

I connected with my two orgone pendant the whole time. One is in my right jean pocket. The other one is around my neck. I noticed that the sylphs started coming out from the west. Now the skies are filled with nice wispy clouds! Oh joy!

  • 20100503-Happily Less

While waiting in the doctor’s office, I read the May 2010 edition to the `RealSimple.com – Life Made Easier, Every Day` magazine. The magazine has lots of good recipes. Each photo is VERY well presented. I especially love the texture of each page.

On page 232 and at the last section of the article, I learned about STARTING OVER.

    Home, Sweet 351-Square-Foot Home
By Kristin Appenbrink and Bess Hochstein
How a couple lost all and learned to live (happily) with less than they’d ever imagined.

`Surviving the tragedy of the fire aged our relationships but in a good way,` she says.

My grandfather always said, `Find a woman you could survive with in a foxhole.` says Natale.

The story was about a couple, Ren and Natale. They lost everything to a fire but rebuilt and lived in a small cottage about 351 square feet.

This is what I mean about people getting in and over their heads about paying an expensive version of a rent (or mortgage). In an instance, everything could be gone.

If only people learn to live simply and modestly, that’s all that is important – to have each other.

  • 20100502-Beautiful Day

Today is beautiful! The skies are clear and blue. The winds are strong. The tree branches bend to the winds. Small birds came and went, drinking and bathing in the bird bath.

The sunshine has warmed the air enough for the parakeets to overheat underneath their covered cage.

We boiled beef neck bone for soup; defrosted and refroze mixed vegetables; and pretty much relaxed as usual

I gave Maw a hair trim, too. She would nod off to sleep while sitting upright. Paw does his own things, like exercise and paperwork.

  • 20100501-Beautiful Day

Today is beautiful! The skies were streaked with chemtrails. One was directly over our house this morning. We decided to visit old granny first and right after breakfast. Granny was taking a shower and we waited outdoors until the nurses finished from 9:05am to 09:30am. Maw walked back and forth at the emergency section for some exercise.

We managed to walk once around the Great Mall in Milpitas, CA. We sat for thirty minutes at the indoor fountain while children were at play. I saw a baby with a bib reading `I’m not a boy`. She had an abnormally large head with blond locks and large blue-gray eyes. The dad appears Hispanic, the whitish kind.

Anyway,  the baby was babbling and walking on her two chubby legs. I was thinking to myself that perhaps the baby could say `Pikachu`. Then my imagination heard her say `Pikachu` a few seconds afterwards. I smiled. She staggered to regain her balance as her dad held her steady.

Maw had slept for almost thirty minutes with her head held slightly downward while I sat in her wheelchair catching a snooze, too. She said sleeping sitting upright with her held in that position is easier for her to breath.

We left at 11:30am, went home and ate lunch of which I cooked fish ball soup with sour calamansi, a sort of small lemon. Paw didn’t seem to like the taste. Fine! I also cooked Maw’s noodles with meatballs and Alfredo sauce. She got tired of that.

And after this evening’s mass, she wanted noodles from one of the Chinese restaurants from near the USPS. After dropping off the mail, Paw and I decided to try Won Stew House. The `Combination Chow Mein (75)` was good. It had straw mushroom, cabbage, carrots, artificial meat stuff, small bacons of fat, squid, shirmp, beef, etc. The noodles tasted of sesame oil.

Then we finished the chow mein for dinner and retired for the rest of the day of mostly sunshine was. The wind was not too cold for the parakeets to enjoy some fresh air while under the patio. I had to use the cloths pin to create a seal with the cover around the cage so as to provide a shield for the parakeets. They usual are brought in around mid-afternoon and before the evening winds start freezing up again.

  • 20100501-Care Taking

Holy crap! For the past week after Maw got out of the hospital, I’ve been playing the role of a nurse:

    • Administering medication.
    • Disinfecting the CPAP equipment.
    • Cooking meals. Holy cow! I can actually boil water and make soup!
    • Pep talks.
    • Tucking into bed.
    • Chaffeur, mostly to doctor’s appointments and sometimes food runs.
    • Trainer. I have to remind Maw to get up and walk around to prevent embolism and such.
    • Pedicurist, manicurist, hair stylist, etc.

If I want to continue my `cross-training` as a would-be caretaker in geriatrics, I was thinking of going back to school and take up courses for CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or something like that. But I’ve noticed that my patience runs rough like a sandpaper, my nerves are jittery, my mouth cannot control its loudness and, well, my mind is putty and soft, too.

But first I’ll end up filing BK. Dammit!
