Describing my immediate surroundings towards the beginning and a twist to the tale or possible solutions to issues towards the end of some blogs and how they relate to my expectations of the world at large.

  • 20101121-Weathery Ways

For the past hour since 11:35am, I’ve been upstairs redoing my blog (AGAIN). The sunshine is now shining brightly after playing hide and seek among the big, fluffy, puffy clouds of white rolling slowly southbound.

Earlier this mid-morning, the rain came. With last week’s four-day effort from Monday through Thursday of the twosome in trimming dead branches and sustaining scratches on forearms by Paw, the rain water can easily water the dried trees. I helped to water the backyard trees with the buckets of rain water from the gutter. I got wet but not freezing cold.

Paw even made me take a few photos of him watering the trees with the gathered buckets of water. I took Maw’s photo of her chopping up chicken gizzards and hearts for her turkey stuffing of no-flavor, bread crumbs. The less salt in her diet, the better control of her high blood pressure and hypertension.

At the same time – the whole of this morning – I helped Maw prepare lunch of rice porridge with protein ingredients, steaming green beans, broccoli and carrots, and mostly washing and drying the dishes. I had to keep busy as this is a form of exercise and standing, too, helps keep the  blood circulated in the lower extremities.

I love rain. I love staying indoors. I love being private and alone.

Well, it’s rainy – more like down pouring. At 7:07Pm, we were en route from Kim Tar toward home on a RUE and saw a brief flash of light southbound from our point of view – which looks like somewhere south of SJC. The light appeared to be – to me at least – purple or pink – through the thick layer of gray, rain clouds.

After posting about my 2:11pm sunshine greeting, the gray clouds covered the skies a a couple of minutes but at around 2:20pm the sunshine came through – but diffused in a white glow of white clouds. It’s really neat how the colors of clouds are competing to show their truth worth. When the diffusion showed, I saw a rainbow northbound from our house.

  • 20101120-Weathery Ways

Well at around 2:11pm, I awoke from my nap and to my right, lo and behold, I see sunshine coming out to say: “I LOVE YOU, TOO”. Why? It has been cold, clammy and rainy since yesterday. The clouds were gray. But now its fluffy, puffy clouds of white! I say: “I WANT YOU, SUN”. Alas, that’s as close we could get to each other. Maybe one day we could each wiggle our toes in the ocean. Wouldn’t that be cool? You bet!

Addendum: At 2:20PM, the  fluffy, puffy mess of gray covered Mr. Sunshine. So the skies are truly crispy , clear and blue. It’s just “nature” decided that a quick “hello” was all it took to give me a ray of hope.

  • Recommended Readings

Bah! I really don’t like the way WordPress.com images are handled, especially for “gallery”. I already have images of book covers by my favorite author in the “Media library”. There is no way to “reuse” images that have already been uploaded. Instead, I had to “duplicate” my efforts and upload five images, which can be seen on the bottom of my “Front/Home page”.

I had to remove the “caption” because the title to each book is TOO long. Each book cover is click-able but it doesn’t point to an external website. Instead, it “redirects” the read to a larger image of the book covers and the description of this image will show the credits and the amazon.com link where one could purchase such fine reading materials.

Bah! I need my own website proudly by WordPress.org but I don’t know HTML codes. So I’ll just still to WordPress.com and learn more CSS codes instead for the meantime.

Oh! As I was lurking on the amazon.com site, I saw one of his other books. He’s got a religious title – yuck! And his middle initial didn’t look familiar. The one I got was written in green marker on the cardboard box gift and is the seventh letter inside the compass and the square. So tonight, I made another connection and/or revelation: My Vedic astrological alignment, along with its damn karmic debt will have been fulfilled twice – once by a “little giant with a big heart” and my recent headache, who got problems since 2000 – the same time of my being a “contactee,” of all sorts.

  • Blue Moons

The Really Strange Story Behind Sunday’s Blue Moon

The full moon of November arrives on Sunday and will bring with it a cosmic addition: It will also be a so-called “blue moon.”

“Seven times in 19 years there were – and still are – 13 full moons in a year. This gives 11 months with one full moon each and one with two. This second in a month, so I interpret it, was called Blue Moon.”

[…] under the original Maine Almanac rule – the one promoted by Lafleur and later misinterpreted by Pruett – the third full moon of the 2010 fall season on Nov. 21 would be a blue moon.

So what Blue Moon definition tickles your fancy? Is it the second full moon in a calendar month, or (as is the case on Sunday) the third full moon in a season with four?

Gee! No wonder there will be a dedication ceremony for a newly renovated temple! It’s viral superstition!

  • Slowing Down

I don’t care! After six or so month at this temp job from hell, I can’t wait to leave. The SLAMMING back door and the creepy, South Asian Indians are annoying.

About a few minutes ago and at around the hour or so, the temp guy whispered to me about the workload. The “boss” said to him that things are slowing down, which means we don’t stand a chance  and staying no longer than after the upcoming “1111 project” is completed.

I repeated to the guy that it’s reality and we have to face the truth that we won’t be hired full-time, even though we were assigned “white-colored” ID badges for full-time staff instead of “orange-colored” ones for temporary workers and/or contractors.

I don’t expect to stay here and well, good riddance.

  • Damn Doors

“but each door keeps closing […]”

Whatever! While you get to wiggle your toes in the ocean, I get the SLAMMING back door every friggin’ day. The wooden door opens with a double CLACK of metallic spikes upon the swipe of a staff’s ID badge. CLACK! is all I hear! Do you hear me, dammit?

Then “WHAM” is another sound from these friggin’ gays and ASIAN traditionalists of making loud sounds to ward of evil spirits! Do you know what? I’ll send those sounds back to you, freaks! Maybe you get to tumble headlong down those stairs! Would you like that, huh?

Anyway, I’ve had enough with these “aliens”. I don’t like hearing their lies. I want to see their results. You can make people cry but in the end you’ll get nothing. What makes you think I’ll stay here! The aisle was much wider when the sales department was here.

Now you fools make me sit near this door! Open, close, open, close, clack, whack, clack, wham…!

  • 20101119-More Spooks

So around 12:30pm or so, I told a “pal” how I disclosed my current situation to the twosome last weekend. They are in their seventies and I didn’t want to upset them but Maw especially cried: She wanted my younger brother and me to have been more “sharing”.

I then described how they worked hard, didn’t go on vacations and are retired comfortably from their fixed income. It wasn’t fair to them to pay someone else’s debt. My sentiments was that they were looked down for appearing “poor” when in fact they could look “rich” but behave humbly, which is more honorable than a form of addiction of gambling (or, rather, in a guise as investing like moi.)

I went further to describe my thoughts, how we are not greedy people or if “it” ever happened and how I would prefer to pay my karmic debt out of my blood, sweat and tears with this temp job from hell. Honestly, I fail to see how something so far away is supposed to effect my happiness here and right now I’m still fuming pissed because of this credit card debt  assumed despite his honest sharing of information.

  • Temple Dedication

Last week, I’ve learned of a renovation being done by many “interested parties” for the:

    Laie Hawaii Temple

Laie Hawaii Temple is a temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) located on the northeast shore of the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu.

Service is tomorrow, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 2:00PM and 6:00PM. The dedication ceremonies will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at 9:00AM, 12:00PM (noontime) and 2:00PM. After the dedication ceremonies, the temple will be closed to the public until after the next 30 or 40 years.

The parking lot has been full of people. I would have loved to have visited this once in a lifetime opportunity and at the same time visit someone I’ve missed for so many years. But I figured only “specially treated” people are ever allowed inside this architectural wonder.

  • No Cell Tower

AT&T withdraws controversial cell tower proposal at Palo Alto swim club

A protest against a proposal to build a cell phone tower at a Palo Alto swim and tennis club morphed into a celebration Thursday night as word spread through the crowd that the controversial application had been withdrawn.

The proposal called for a 75-foot tower disguised as a redwood tree, but Palo Alto has a 65-foot height limit.

Jaret said he was pleased by the news and believed the community’s opposition played a big part in the proposal’s withdrawal.

Opponents argued it would be an eyesore, could potentially adversely affect the health of students and would lower property values.

  • 20101118-More Spooks

After mass, I drove en route to work taking a road past the aluminum recycling plant to northbound 101. Lo and behold, I see a mini-SUV van-like truck pull out from its parked location upon my arrival about two to three cars behind. I lowered the sun visor while waiting for the streetlight to turn green. I had my nice cap on below my eyebrows to hide my hair. It makes me look thuggish.

Anyway, after we crossed the railroad prior to the exit, I rode along to the left of it. For whatever reason, I sensed that it wanted to go to the left lane where I kept pace with it SLOWLY because I was following an orange-colored, cement truck. I rolled to another stop a few more feet behind the truck.

Of course, the two goons swerved WEIRD to the right – not sure where they were going! It curved in an “S-like” pattern and stopped crooked at, say, 20 or so degrees “off center” to the right and behind one car in front of it. My spider senses were correct! When our streetlight turned green, the spooks turned right into another road that rhymed with “fish”.

I swear. You people owe me BIG TIME!

  • New Page – Location

I’ve added yet a new page called “Location”. It has faux information of “Directions” and “Address”. The purpose was to get the something underneath the “Contact” page of “Messaging” and “Phones” information. Like most of my pages, the first paragraph is an introduction titled “Notice”. I expect people to read my precious pages, not browse and go.
