  • 20101116-Tongue Flickers

From 3:30pm to 5:30pm, there was a mandatory company meeting, even for us temporary workers. Our badge ID was to the left of our full name and followed by a box, of which we check marked our attendance. There are 5,250 employees in Q310 compared to 7,900 in 2006. Gross margin and operating margin are up and the company is number one in their market base.

I must say, there were lots of older and taller people – serious-looking, scary reptoids. How do I know? After the closing speech by the CEO of the company, he made his way off the stage to “his left” and let a a couple of brief flicks of his tongue, just sort of in front of my intersection on aisle letter “E” at seat number “112”. I faked a tongue flick while still seated and clapping my hands.

As others stood up, ready to leave the slower traffic to my right, I took the faster traffic to my right where Theresa and her reptilian, white boss where walking. I didn’t like the face of that boss. When I turned my head to the left to look at the reptoid prior to the start of the event, I just sensed she didn’t seem happy that I stared at her. That woman had facial bumps just like the CEO.

I took pictures of the banners, mannequins wearing T-shirts and even the DJ. I was the only one dancing stupidly, or rather shuffling in my hot, red blazer which cooked me initially during the meeting that I sustained a post nasal drip, which made me cough with my eyes closed!

The food was cheese and regular pizza, croissant stuffed with spinach, pot-stickers with pork, buffalo wings (red), bbq wings (charcoal), mini-hamburgers with onion, and three more South Asian Indian food of chicken on stick and triangular-shaped crunchy stuff. Drink was the Santa Clara Convention water and carbonated soda, which I rarely touch nowadays.

The temp girl actually sat to my right during the presentation. I briefly saw the temp guy walk with his Viet people. The tall guy was talking with other people. I talked with the tall guy, Allen, who was kind enough to inquire about Maw and Paw and I of his new wife, Yesenia. I saw cute guys. One pause in front of me so I could barely see his name tags.

I really want to see this “Randy V.” He is a honest Joe, who must be rewarded lunch, Starbuck and/or the ring itself for his significant other for all I care. He turned in my missing, simulated diamond ring at the Securitas area where Roger, the cute, tall Chicano lad, handed me my fake bling of real 14K gold. I swear love his squinty eyes. His hair is grown in – much better. Maybe he’s a tongue flicker too but that’s saved for his girlfriend/wife, if any. Hehehe!

  • Light Color Scheme

Okay. I think I figured out what is wrong with the new WordPress theme: Pilcrow by Automattic. The footer/bottom bar sucks! By using either the “Light” or “Dark” color scheme, certain widgets are not visible. By using either the “Brown” or “Red” color scheme, one could see the widgets down below. I wonder if team Automattic ever test run their themes before putting out their hard work to good use by webloggers like moi! I’ve resolved the issue by not putting anything in the two footer/bottom bar and ended up stuffing up the two sidebars full of widgets. The problem has nothing to do with the older IE7 web browser version.

  • Brown Color Scheme

For whatever reason, when one chooses the “Light” color scheme to Pilcrow theme by Automattic, the older internet browser – IE7 – makes the “Blog Stats” widget, “Custom Menu” widget and “Text Widget” unreadable via the footer/bottom bar. The captions of the images and the links do not show up. As a result, I had to “Select a default color scheme” to Brown. It’s darker but at least the fonts are not too white against the black background. The color of the links are, well, brown, which really looks like dark orange. The color of the drop-down and hover-over features are dark greenish in color. While I prefer the light color of white and blue links, the brown color scheme will have to meet my lowered expectations! And the bottom-most information to both the tagline and WordPress credit does NOT appear via IE7. Why doesn’t this employer upgrade to IE8 for crying out loud?

  • Four Times

“Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give to the poor, and if I have extorted anything from anyone I shall repay it four times over.”

~Zacchaeus (a wealthy man and tax collector) to Jesus… (Luke 19:1-10)

    “Hi! Flynn, Flynn, Flynn, Flynn…”

~A pal’s voicemail message to moi on 11/05/2010…

Well, well, well, well! I do declare! Frankly, I don’t give damn. I’m just hoping “everything will be good”.

  • 20101115-Trying Theme

This time I’m trying the latest WordPress.com theme: Pilcrow by Automattic – Pilcrow’s 5 different layouts, with multiple sidebar configurations, four default color schemes, custom header images, and a customizable background, make personalizing your blog a snap.

It’s a home-run! The ball’s out of the field! I love you team Automattic! Of course, I’m being facetious! Why do I like this newest theme?

    PROs

    • Time-date stamp for single view of each blog entry.
    • Templates for “Archives” and “Links”. Bigger bragging rights for blog-rollers!
    • Custom menus.
    • Backgrounds.
    • Headers. I choose the yellow-tile pattern.
    • Feature widget, like the Coraline theme.
    • Five-layouts. I choose the feature-widget on the right.
    • Two footer/bottom bar wide enough for longer text! Whoo! Hooo!

    CONs

    • I’ll get bored again, of course. It’s my mutable sign – always changing.

    —

    Other notables are:

    • Blockquotes – normal font and set against light gray background.
    • Caption for images spaced nicely and easy to read. But squooshed slightly to the left!
    • Horizontal bar viewable.
    • Links in blue color.
    • Header size in darker color.
    • Readable fonts.
    • Sidebar element wide enough to accommodate “image widgets”.
    • Footer bar, dark and unique. Captions for “image widgets” not readable.
    • “Jump to comments” feature.
    • Automatic width to smaller screen size! (So, I could “hide” my weblog while at work! Ssshhh!)
  • 20101115-Blessed Day

So while making my phone call between 12:30pm to 1:00pm, a tiny fly with red eyes kept walking around on me – the front of my new 3/4 sleeve, brown shirt and my pants, too. I was seated inside my car and had the windows rolled down. I haven’t started walking around to build up a stinky smelly sweat; so the attraction of the little visitor to moi makes me wonder why this second insect is near me.

I’m currently wearing Shrimpsei’s second nano-lemurian pendant. Naturally, I assumed that it was that orgone object. Or perhaps, I’m in such good spirits that insects seem to come close, like the distressed bee earlier. Whatever has happened, even the weather was friggin’ WARM!

It was so warm that today’s lunch walk warmed my bones and made me sweat! The skies are crispy and clear and the sunshine is very bright. Earlier I said to Maw en route from the parking lot to this morning’s mass:

“Someone from afar must be happy!”

And so that’s how it feels today – nice and beautiful, just like it’s supposed to be when things go my way, I guess. Whatever!

  • Religious Flow

Must one be a Muslim to make Hajj Pilgrimage to Mecca? I’m a “devout” Catholic, though.

I want to visit Mecca and experience the “flow” by taking videos and photos and uploading these images through my WordPress.com weblog.

    How cool would that be?

  • Unconscious Type

While lurking on the RSS feed of WM, I came across a OPEN forum topic and its description of persons who are spiritually unconscious as : “deaf-blind-mute.” That poster did indeed strike my interest and no necessarily my nerve.

That’s how most of us are: clueless. From the back of my mind and for awhile, I wonder why most of us don’t know our spirituality like those with “special gifts”. I guess we are beyond that sort of New Age thinking (including reincarnations) and decided to just separate ourselves from the rest of the herd and be at peace without the noise of participating in the pipeline, which over eons could become clogged with build-ups and needs to be cleaned out for maintenance and repairs.

I think that’s how the “unconscious types” operate – to step back and access any situation and to just observe and respond appropriately without fanfare and such. It’s a blessing really to be able to connect with each other without the headaches and other baggage.

  • Token Gifts

This morning I briefly shared with Maw my “tokens of appreciation” and proudly pointed to each one, starting with the larger items:

    • DB’s Himalayan salt crystal lamp and Fairy flower lamp;
    • Shrimpsei’s Nano-Lemurian, Home Shield – still buzzing away;
    • and various hand-sized, orgone pieces, all lined up at the alter upstairs.

For me these are immeasurable treasures. I told Maw these items were to clear stuck and stangnant energy but mostly for those who are energy sensitive, which we are not – thankfully.

Maw benefited from DB’s Sundisks (or “reptoid repellant” or “alien implant deactivator”). I forgot about sticking one at the base of her neck last night. She later used it on her left hip and right knee while sleeping. The surgury on her right knee shifted the weight bearing; thus, her spine curvature has been “leaning to the left”.

So even if TPTB, Pete and pals take a long time or never fulfill their promises and guarantees, I’ve made my peace with their “relative kinds”, who happen to share certain “special gifts,” just like “my family”. It’s like we are all related in some weird way. They know me like the back of their hands. Of course, if they don’t, then it’s war because without the twosome to help moi, then y’all will get a piece of their minds.

  • Piece of Peace

“Are you okay? Are you at peace? Your guardian angel heard your prayers.”

~Maw to moi this morning upstairs prior to going downstairs…

“You are my guardian angel, just as I am someone else’s guardian angel.”

    ~Moi to Maw with a brief half-hug…

    —
Without the help of Maw and Paw, I would have been in distress for the rest of my life. I would have filed BK7. I would have gone after TPTB. But I chose to resign to the fate that if I really meant what I prayed and promised, then my hard work went to where it is supposed to – after ten slong years.

Of course, the twosome expect me to repay them back and I will slowly by paying their monthly bills (online), of course, with the hopes that Pete and pals will fulfill their promises and guarantees. For you see, they got their family, relatives, friends and strangers involved and there is nothing the Feds can do but “cover”, err, our “family business”.

Anyway, I feel that I shouldn’t accept their help and pay my own karmic debt out of my own efforts. But I see that it is to my advantage: I’ve learned my lesson about being OVERLY generous to the point of self-suffering, which is not good to the bearer of “bad news” in the guise of “good news”. My intention was to help but the documentations are for PERSONAL LOANS. Get it, now?

After mass this morning, I saw on my car a bee! I took some macro photos of the bee. It wasn’t moving much and thought to offer it some banana for energy; so that it could fly back home. I accidentally poured a drop or two on its head, thinking that water and banana would be easier to such. But it reacted very weakly to the drops. I saw its probiscus tongue trying to eat the banana and to drink some water.

Then I decided to pick it up “gently” with a tissue paper and transfer it carefully to a nearby bush of tiny pink flowers. The bee latched onto a small pink flower and proceeded to drink of its nectar. I believe it will be fine. But that’s how it has been in my reality – to help those the best way possible and leave them to fend for themselves. I “felt” that it was cold because the bee appeared to “shiver”.

So to TPTB: while I believe in “fairness and balance” as well as the concept of unity and equality, somethings do not work out fine. There is still some struggling to survive. But in the end, we all die. It’s how the process from beginning to end that matters and the ability to alleviate suffering along the way that I’m more concerned about than results, which should be good, right?

  • Bearded Guys

Earlier this evening I was lurking on my RSS feed and saw photos of the Matt meister and pals posing in Greece – the place I wanted to visit but cannot because it’s not my time in this current human form.

I see the “big boss” of WordPress is sporting a beard. Now he looks hot with that facial hair. Anyway, guys, such as the tall and lanky celebrity – Conan O’brien – look much better with something on their face, especially if it means to hide facial flaws.

There are some guys who should not wear full beards. These types of guys are smooth and cute. Any guy who looks VERY attractive to older farts, other gays and everyone else has to be gay, such as Ricky Martin. Now he’s cute but gay. Get it?

But the rugged, grizzly bears of hunks look hot in beards. I’ll assume they are not gay. Yup.

  • Ten Guides

While lurking online again, I came across another weblog site proudly powered by WordPress. (I can tell because of the nice smiley face at the very bottom of the site). Hahahaha! Anyway, here is the topic and the ten guides for “The Age of Reason”. I offer my VERY brief interpretation below each item in parenthesis, too! Bahahaha!

My responses to the first four guides were easy. It got harder to interpret after wards.
