Describing my immediate surroundings towards the beginning and a twist to the tale or possible solutions to issues towards the end of some blogs and how they relate to my expectations of the world at large.

  • Dry Patches

Well, I’ve sustained a dry patch located on my back and over the right kidney area. Maw has applied a cream on that area And on top of my left foot near the base of the ankle is also a dry patch, I call these my “stigmatas”. Hahaha!

Remember my past blogs about waking up around the hours of 3:00am to 4:00am and seeing the bright light shining on the right pane of my bedroom window? I figured the pain in my front and back areas of my right has been taken away by those “aliens”.

  • Nice Balmy Day

    Mike: “Magandang!”
    Moi: “Gabi!”
    Mike: “Pa-all-ahm.”
    Moi: “Pa-all-ahm.”

~Late last night en route to back door…

    —
Fine: He’s still smiling and friendly after all! With today’s $6.95 for a Tue. lunch of Lasagna and garlic bread and some salad today at Deli of San Jose (I think), I owe the guy (AGAIN). I was about to go for a brisk walk under the threatening rain clouds but the guy intercepted moi just when I was about to get my shoes.

Like a spoiled brat, I was giggling inside but full of apprehenson because he’s driving and I’m not: I’m a control freak and so used to being behind the wheel. The talk was cordial and still borderline bartalk. Hey! We resonant! I’m the bad influence, remember? Bahahah!

Anyway, the sunshine is coming out – barely through some clouds. I could see some blue skies but not much.

  • Biteful Tests

    In recent news:
Menlo Park research facility refuses to let humane society see monkey that bit worker

A Menlo Park research facility Monday refused to allow a humane society representative to check up on a monkey that bit a female lab worker the day before.

    —
First thought that occurred to me was karma. I’d hate to say it but the biting of lab workers by pissed off animals happens.

Second thought that occurred to me was oxymoron. If the lab animals are being tested and abused, wouldn’t the end result of these products be bad enough (if not poison) to humans?

Third thought that occured to me was genetics. “Individual results may vary.” In other words, everyone, even animals will die from testing to results.

Don’t you people get it? Why risk various species just to prolong the lives of other species?

  • New Leaf

You know the figurative speech to:

    “turn over a new leaf”

    • Fig. to begin again, fresh; to reform and begin again. (Fig. on turning to a fresh page. The leaf is a page—a fresh, clean page.)
    • to start behaving in a better way
    • to start behaving in a different way

    Well, in recent news:

Nissan Leaf to get equivalent of 99 miles per gal
By KEN THOMAS, Associated Press Ken Thomas, Associated Press – 1 hr 10 mins ago

WASHINGTON – Nissan’s new electric car, the Leaf, will get the equivalent of 99 miles per gallon in combined city and highway driving, based on government testing.

    —
Actually, I still want a hover-craft. In the meantime, I’ll keep dreaming of owning a new car. But my 1998 Ford Mustang still runs well enough. I don’t know how much longer the power train will last.

  • 20101122-Weathery Ways

At around 12:44pm, the rains fell. This occurred just as soons as I finished chewing the left over pea spourt and shrimp in mayonnaise from Saturday evening, a dinner at Kim Tar with the twosome, one of whom still felt sick from the powerful pain killer prescribed by her primary care physician last Thursday afternoon.

I could hear the soft hissing of the droplets against the roof overhead here at work. As I stepped to the TALL windows and looked out, I see some clouds of white – fluffy and puffy in the distance; while the ones overhead are light white and not gray or omnious.

Well, there goes my daily walk. I think I’ll walk around the inside of this building and see if anyone recognizes me, which is rare but true. It’s the only way I could keep sane as the workload SLOWS down to nothing. I think I’ll visit Hoan in the lunchroom later – maybe not because it’s already 30 minutes.

  • New Guy

So a few minutes ago, Tess brought the new guy around to meet the department. I am feeling so giggling now. I’m taller than him! His handshake if firm. His eyes have a deep blue coloration and a weird shaped as if he is wearing contact lenses.

I’ll assume that people have read this WordPress.com because he’s bald! How cool is that? I’ll also assume that he is Irish because of his first and last name! He is handsome. But since I’m a temp and would like to stick to Plan A, I’m out of here after the “1111 project”. Shucks!

  • 20101121-Trying Theme

Well, in only one or two days, I went from the most recently added WordPress.com theme – Pilcrow – back to an old Theme: Sandbox 0.6.1. With my paid CSS upgrade, I made this theme one-column (or narrow) and added pretty colors of passion pink and cool blue – female and male – duality.

Primarily, I really wanted the meta data to appear in a certain way, where the tags, categories, comments and edits are all bunched together somewhere on the index page view and single post view and where the date/time stamp appears underneath the blog/post entry title for the index page view. This theme has the author data, too.

PLUS, I wanted templates for the “Archives” and “Links” because I’m not a fan of long sidebars cluttered with multiple widgets. Both templates for the theme Sandbox 0.6.1 appear below an already pre-filled page (if not left blank). And the “Archives” template shows BOTH the “item count” and “RSS feed” to the “Categories”.

The features for “Custom Menus”, “Backgrounds” and “Headers” are lacking. Bah!

  • V-Sign

Well, at least three “co-workers” do not understand why they make a hand gesture of a:

    V-Sign

The V sign is a hand gesture in which the first and second fingers are raised and parted, whilst the thumb and remaining fingers are clenched.

Generally, it’s supposed to mean the sign of peace or insult, whichever culture or country one happens to follow. For me the “V-sign” reminds me of “victory” in the televised series “V”, in which humans came out victorious against invaders of lizard-like (reptilians (or reptoids) origins.

Usually and out of fun, people would pose for the camera and flash the V-sign and sometimes give people nearby the “bunny ears” by placing the V-sign behind their heads. You see: Bunny ears are similar to “Mickey Mouse” ears.

And from what I read online, “Micky Mouse” ears symbolize mind controlled slaves or at least brain-washed.

When I see Mike, Tess, or Charissa using that V-sign, I can’t help but wonder if they are mind controlled slaves because they keep flashing that hand gesture.

I’ve read online that these sort of individuals are highly intelligent. I could tell from their conversations and the way the carry themselves.

Nonetheless, they are considered “friendly”. Oh, boy!

  • Back Nugget

A few minutes ago, Maw massaged my lower back. She felt a knot on the right side. The pressure points felt very sore initially. Then after two or three more times and withing five minutes, I am able to walk and sit normally. Before that miraculous session, my buttock was tucked in and I walked like an old lady – slightly hunched over in pain. Now, I feel like I could function fine before lifting some heavy buckets of water for watering the trees out back. I didn’t feel anything but this damn, old body can’t take the extra effort.

    Thanks, Maw! Bless you again.

  • Check Training

As part of my ongoing training at the home front, Paw told Maw that he was going to show me how to write checks to pay his bills! Paw is very detailed when it comes to doing the household’s finances. But because the twosome are getting older, I will end up being responsible for taking over, if and when they pass on – leaving me all alone!

Anyway, Paw hand-printed a sample on how to fill out his check, which he would sign. I mimicked his cursive hand writing as closely as possible. His handwriting is very pretty and clear, just like Pete. One would think both men have the spirits of women with beautiful handwriting.

So I wrote out check number 6450, which has a buff-yellow color of Napa Valley as a background design. At 3:22pm, Paw signed that large check as a birthday gift to moi. I thanked Paw with the Filipino respect of “Pah-ah-lahm” to the forehead. The next one was check number 6451, which was for the city’s garage service.

I really would prefer transacting online. Technology has come a long way to provide citizens the ease, convenience and auditing necessary to avoid FRAUD.

So there you have it: utility bills. Next will be the health care aspect of ordering medications and following-up and being my own nurse to the twosome should they fall prey to the signs of old age.

I’ve nowhere to go, Pete and you know it. They are my life’s blood. If you and your thugs hurt them further, I’ll hurt you in return.

Oops! I meant to add: Thank you, Paw! Bless you again!

  • 20101121-Strange Light

After peeing, I tried to go to sleep but couldn’t. For one hour I toss and turned but was relaxed enough to nap. Then I made a sound and open my eyes. I saw the dimmer light fade from top to bottom at the “right” pane of my bedroom window. I turned my head to the right where my bedside table is located and saw my atomic clock read 4:49am. Then I relaxed again and thought later on: “You idiot! You should have jumped out of bed and peeked out the window to find out SCIENTIFICALLY if what you saw was from the headlights of passing motorist down below!”

I’ll try to remember to do that next time. Sheesh!

  • 20101121-More Spooks

At 04:27pm, I saw a pale-looking, low-riding bicyclist. He had a black cap and wore black outfit. He sported a chin beard and upper mustache. He came down from the RUE and crossed in front of our only front window to MY drive, upon which he circled back barely to MY road and back to MY drive. He was wearing ear-pieces, like most spooks who either jog alone or with their damn dogs. Some wear baseball caps like this young, Mexicano-looking thug.

To the SJPD, I’m not blind. Just make sure you keep a log of what’s going on in and around our neighborhood. After all, this area has lots of “good” taxpayers, if you know what I mean. And as for the divorced nutball living next door to us, WTF are you people going to club her over the head, drag her into the paddy wagon and haul her ass into a nicely, white padded room with other insane souls?

Anyway, I was standing while talking to Maw, who cried again about my security in the future. She feels more people will take advantage of me and no one will take care of me in my old age. I know whatever money I may have won’t be enough to ward off dishonorable people who may cross my path. She further went on to advise me of my relatives and friends and how I should hold a hoe-down or something like that in recognition of their hard work.
