  • 20100506-More Spooks

While Paw and I were raking up leaves left out by Juan’s blue-eyed mother onto MY road and other eucalyptus debris, such as seed, twigs and branches, I saw a couple of Mormons walking from the railroad intersection on MY road and crossing over into MY drive. They had dark blue ties and white shirts. Elder Robert is tall and doughy. He reminds me of James T., a former co-worker but divorcé, who wanted to date me.

After about five minutes or so, the twosome came over and offered to help clean up our yard work. Now that’s mighty fine of the those boys. You don’t get alot of nice Christians offering to lend a HELPING HAND. (You know what I mean, Pete!)

Anyway, I had a feeling they would come over and I was right because I REALLY wanted a copy of `The Book of Mormon` as part of my mini-library located upstairs in the hallway. I actually had to ASK for one and Elder Robert pulled out, what I believe was HIS copy, from the outside pocket of his dark blue backpack.

Brother Anh Ma Can (or the Vietnamese translation of McDonald) was with him. He had no eyeglasses one like Elder Robert and had larger eyes. He could speak Vietnamese. The boy asked if we spoke Vietnamese. I replied that we spoke AMERICAN! Of course, the conversation went on about what is truth and what God is like and I offered a grain of salt to them: God is everywhere and expresses himself in various ways and does not belong to any one religious organization.

I told the boys that don’t believe everything you see and hear but believe in whatever rings true to them personally. They even asked if they could come visit us again. I replied in the negative and then a positive as it is their free will to bug the heck out of us again. Seriously, there is the internet and the overload of information is from that source.

Before they left, I has Elder Robert what passage I should read to get to know `The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints`. He took HIS copy and flipped through the pages and pointed to this reading:

    CHAPTER 11 – 3 NEPHI 10:13-11:2

Jesus Christ did show himself unto the people of Nephi, as the multitude were gathered together in the land Bountiful, and did minister unto them; and on this wise did he show himself unto them. Comprising chapters 11 to 26 inclusive.

He then placed the following card as a bookmark to that page. Here is the front and back image of the `advertisement` card:

    [slideshow]

He then pointed out the Introduction on the front of this book.

In other words, believe in Jesus Christ, his wounds and get baptized in the name of the Holy Spirit. Any Satanist know that calling upon the Holy Spirit is the only way to rid victims of those offending demons who are out to ruin the souls of many.

So I told the boys that we needed to get back to our yard work and thanked them for offering their SERVICE and to spread the truth about God and serve the LORD. It’s the only way to LEVEL with these `FELLOW BROTHERS`, who don’t know what’s really going on behind the scenes.

The end of the conversation may have been before 11:36am as per the atomic clock inside the dining room. I had to run inside to find out the time before taking a much needed shower after almost two and a half hours of yard work.

Then after lunch I had a bowel movement and decided to read CHAPTER 11 in its entirety. There were a couple of outdated words, such as `unto` and ` ye`. My mind started creating again: Why are they always a pair of guys and not women? It’s almost like a Merovingian is being followed by a pair. I don’t know.

  • 20100502-Noticing Numbers

During the the 2010 White House Correspondents Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., the event opened with the announcement of scholarships of which $133,000 will be given away. I see the double digit of thirty-three (or 33) again.

President Obama and Jay Leno at White House Correspondents Dinner

At during Barack Obama’s speech and towards the end, I see Rick Sanchez (like Hillary Clinton – both killed people in automobile accidents), speaking about Iceland being too cold for volcano. The CNN News headline read: ICELAND VOLCANO, FIREBALL OVER U.S.

I see the word `fireball` (or comparably to the initials F. B.)

    Then I hear Obama say:

`I guess that’s why they’re the most trusted name in news.`

Again, my creative mind picked up another message to moi. Keep my mouth shut. Fine.

  • 20100428-New Header

Whoo-hoo! After pressing the `Preview` button via my paid CSS upgrade, the `header element` contains the following `inkwell.jpg` image:

    Inkwell WordPress

The original dimension of this image is 980 by 198 pixels.

Unfortunately and to my dissatisfaction, the blog title (Flynn’s Blogs) is located towards the top. I got tired trying to figure out how to get that `title element` smack dab in the middle of my new customer header.

The color scheme of the header works nicely with the blue-colored fonts. The customer header actually looks like lost continents. And the WordPress logo, located somewhere to towards the top right `advertises` my dedication to blogging here at WordPress.com.

    `It’s going to happen.`

    ~A speculator

For whatever reason, I still believe in faith and the `fellow brothers`. One `fellow brother` said otherwise and I tried that path, too. It’s a little bit frustrating. If there is enough people to get back the money, I’m sure the FBI would investigate the loss amount(s) for those who were victimized.

I’m listening to Mr. Blankfein, the CEO of Goldman Sach speaking to the Senate Subcommittee on Investigations. I hear LOTS of key words from Mr. Blankfein that rings true to me. I guess it really boils down to: don’t ask, don’t tell.

To Obama and pals: Eh, I give up! You guys are too smart for the rest of us. You designed the system. You can reap its benefits for all we care. You can destroy it, too, if you want. Now I know why I don’t know `Jack`. Wink.

  • 20100427-New Word

I just learned a new word (called `fugly` for fat and ugly) after posting my `20100427-Bad Girl` blog. The WordPress video came up and showed a seventeen second snippet of people clapping to the end of a YouTube.com video: Paul Potts Britain’s Got Talent

    Paul Potts

Paul Robert Potts (born 13 October 1970) is an English pop opera tenor who won the first series of ITV‘s Britain’s Got Talent in 2007, singing an operatic aria, “Nessun dorma” from Puccini‘s Turandot. Potts was a manager at The Carphone Warehouse who also performed in amateur opera from 1999 to 2003.

    The song he sang was:

Nessun dorma (English: None shall sleep)[1] is an aria from the final act of Giacomo Puccini‘s opera Turandot,[2] and is one of the best-known tenor arias in all opera. It is sung by Calaf, il principe ignoto (the unknown prince), who falls in love at first sight with the beautiful but cold Princess Turandot. However, any man who wishes to wed Turandot must first answer her three riddles; if he fails, he will be beheaded.

Right there was a message for moi: `God` is not sleeping.

I just clicked the `Like` button (or green `thumbs up` symbol) to the following YouTube video: Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship

    I noticed that the `Ratings for this video` (42  total) shows 33 `thumbs up` for those who `like this` video; while 9 `thumbs down` for those who `dislike this` video.

  • 20100426-Like Death

In recent news, I came across a Yahoo! news article:

Researchers: Chimps deal with death like humans
By SYLVIA HUI, Associated Press Writer – 2 hrs 13 mins ago

LONDON – Rare video footage taken at a wildlife park has showed that chimpanzees react to the death of a group member just like humans do when a close relative dies, researchers said Monday.

Videos of a group of four chimpanzees at Scotland’s Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure Park showed three of the animals caressing and grooming the fourth, a dying female, more than usual, said James Anderson, a lecturer in psychology at Scotland’s University of Stirling.

The videos also showed that the three chimpanzees tested the elderly female, Pansy, for signs of life at the moment of death, Anderson said. Pansy’s daughter lay near her mother’s body throughout the night, and all the chimpanzees were subdued in the next few days.

I recall watching a nature video on televised programming of:

    Flint

Flint (1964–1972) was Flo’s third son, and her first infant born after Dr. Goodall began observing the community.[5] Flint had difficulty weaning, and became distraught when the birth of Flame displaced him as Flo’s baby.[19] After Flame died, Flint regained his enthusiasm, but resumed his infant-like behavior.[19] After his nephew Freud was born, Flint became fascinated with the new infant and became an important influence of Freud’s first year of life.[20] After Flo died in 1972, he became depressed and ill and died shortly afterward.[7]

It was a sad show and I cried. Flint built a nest high up the trees and nearby where Flo, his mother, had died. The other chimpanzees waited for Flint to come down but he didn’t leave his `death bed`. But because they needed to look for food, the troop left him. Eventually, Flint, the youngest and most spoiled chimpanzee died.

Flint rhymes with Flynn, by the way.

  • 20100422-Thinning Veils

`We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Soviets can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Gorbachev, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate. Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall![9]`

~Snippet of speech by Former President Ronald Reagan at Belin, Germany on June 12, 1987.

Today, President Barack Obama made a speech at Cooper Union in New York City about bank reforms. I managed to watch the last ten to fifteen minutes of the speech via cable programming this morning.

President Obama Tells Wall Street to Back Reform

The bank reform on Wall Street could be consider analogous to removing the veil between worlds of 3rd density here and their 4th density there. What Obama is doing now may be eerily similar to what Reagan has done in the past.

Like the Berlin Wall, Wall Street separated groups of people – families and friends; rich and poor; business and consumers. And both types of `walls` made enemies on the other side. And by tearing down or creating reform walls changes from virtual prisons to real freedom.

Again, I think weird. Take it or leave it.

I’ve been trying WordPress.com themes and decided to go back to the `Pool`. I’ve uploaded another image for my header. It’s a lighter blue with dandelion-like flowers of concentric circles. It is a Microsoft Office clipart.

  • 20100419-Old Drawings

Again, I am cleaning up old files, opened the safe, found a bulky, old-tattered, golden-colored folder and scanned the following pink and green colored construction papers.

These were drawings by moi at the age of three years old. Maw asked me a series of questions and she wrote down my responses. You will notice one image contains the letters `D` and `B`. Right there shows how far and wide is my purpose, of which I am still not certain. Sheesh.

  • 20100415-Different Headers

I’ve been trying out different Microsoft Clip arts and found that I could change those many times! If only team Automattic could allow for uploads of animated images, that would be nice, really. I guess I’ll never achieve complete satisfaction as far as what elements to include in this friggin’ weblog! Below are three samples of my favorite images that I tried for the header:
