  • 20100513-Political Party

On Thursday, the three of us inquired what happened with our party affiliation. We had made the changes last year and the guy (with a gut and beige-colored shirt) CHANGED it that day!

I further inquired on what is the different among the political party and got a two-paged `Political Party Statement of Purpose`. Here is the .pdf file from the `California Secretary of State` website: Political Party.

Below is the text to the .pdf file:

    PEACE AND FREEDOM PARTY

Voting for Peace and Freedom Party candidates means voting to stop the killing now and end this stupid, brutal war. Our party saw through the lies and opposed this war from the beginning. Vote for immediate withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan!

The Peace and Freedom Party works for the needs of working people, not the rich. Vote for decent jobs for all, for doubling the minimum wage, to end poverty and homelessness.

Vote for us to support taxing the wealthiest Americans and their corporations to provide a decent life for the working people who create all of America’s wealth. We need free quality education from preschool to the university level. We need good medical care for everyone. We need to protect and restore the environment.

The Peace and Freedom Party actively fights discrimination, corruption, oppression, and exploitation. We believe that working people should own and run the economy for everyone’s benefi t. Register and vote Peace and Freedom Party for a better California and a better world.

State Central Committee primary endorsements: Jordan (Governor), Alexander (Lieutenant Governor), Akin (Secretary of State), Barrón (Controller), Sanders (Treasurer), Harrison (Attorney General), Condit (Insurance Commissioner), Feinland (Senate). Please check our websites for more information.

    GREEN PARTY

The Green Party is a values-based, international political phenomenon, with thousands of offi ceholders worldwide in elected municipal, county, and federal public offi ces. Since 1992, the Green Party of California (GPCA) members and candidates have promoted and represented Green Party key values for California voters.

The 145,000-strong GPCA membership is an integrated federation of community-based Locals and Regional Councils. Consensus and gender balance ideals prevail. General Assembly delegates convene semi-annually at plenaries to explore and discover political policies that will realize Green values, among them, living wages, affordable health care and housing, and an end to the war in Iraq.

Green volunteers populate GPCA committees and working groups that interact to build party membership, elect Green candidates, manage fi nances, advise on rules and procedures, and publicize party policies. Greens advocate for electoral reforms such as proportional representation, instant run-off voting, and publicly fi nanced campaigns, which maximize representation, save resources, and create a level candidate playing field.

GPCA caucuses include Labor, Disability, Lavender, Black, People of Color, Ethnic Minority, Rural, Candidates, Women’s, Campus, and Secular Greens.

The Green Party of California offers voters the attainable politics of peace, ecological wisdom, and social justice.

    Vote your conscience. Vote Green.

    LIBERTARIAN PARTY

The Libertarian Party is as American as apple pie. Like you, we have jobs, businesses, families, and dreams. We’ve entered the political arena to restore liberty and American values. We’re working toward a government that taxes and spends less, and won’t interfere with your personal life.

If you describe yourself as socially tolerant and fi scally responsible, you’re a Libertarian!

We believe you—not the government—should decide how to run your life, checkbook, retirement, education, and family.

The Libertarian Party supports your right to:

    • keep what you earn. Reduce or eliminate taxes whenever possible.
    • run your own business and enjoy your property. Reducing regulations and paperwork creates more jobs, higher pay, and lower prices.

    • choose your own lifestyle. The government shouldn’t consider you a criminal because of your choices in relationships, recreation, or medical treatment.
    • truly equal treatment under the law regardless of race, gender, religion, sexuality, or personal characteristics.
    • own a firearm. Self-defense is a right, not a political favor.

With over 60 elected Libertarians in California and over 600 offi ceholders countrywide, we’re a real and growing choice.

    REPUBLICAN PARTY

Republicans are proud of the leadership provided to our state by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Governor Schwarzenegger eliminated the car tax that crippled Californians. His economic policies have helped create over 450,000 new jobs in California. His program for workers compensation reform has saved businesses money and has kept jobs in California.

Now, through his Strategic Growth Plan, the Governor is laying the groundwork for a systematic program of fi xing our roads and bridges and rebuilding California’s infrastructure, all without raising taxes. This will attract new jobs and new opportunities for future generations of Californians.

The Republican Party, under the leadership of Governor Schwarzenegger, represents the best chance for freedom and opportunity for every Californian.

Re-electing our Governor and other Republicans to offi ce will help ensure schools that are safe and accountable; hold the line on taxes; and keep growing California’s economy. Join us in helping build a better California that provides opportunity for our families today, and for future generations.

  • 20100514-All Gone

    `To loose something` or `anything essentially gone` in Filipino is said as: `Na wala.` or `Na kada wala.`

At around 12:09am (PDT), I came across the following Yahoo! News:

Money transfer ‘hawala’ trouble anti-terror probes
By DAVID B. CARUSO, Associated Press Writer David B. Caruso, Associated Press Writer – 33 mins ago

NEW YORK – Long before there was MoneyGram and Western Union, people in South Asian countries often used an informal network of brokers, called an “hawala,” to transfer money over long distances when it was too inconvenient or dangerous to send cash by courier.

    The networks operate like this:

A person who wishes to send cash abroad visits a broker, who takes the money plus a fee of around 5 percent. The broker then contacts a counterpart in the country where the money is going and relays instructions on how much is being sent and to whom. Within a day or two, the recipient gets a cash delivery, typically in local currency.

Usually, the two brokers don’t need to actually exchange any money. Instead, they essentially work off of IOUs.

For a U.S. immigrant of modest means, the system has great advantages. You don’t need to have a bank account.

Plus, the whole system is built on trust.

[…], U.S. authorities have had a difficult time shutting the networks down.

This article is true: I know. For a long time, VISA fraud and illegal aliens are problem areas. And my hunch has been correct all along! The tentacles definitely include Muslim via Jewish pals. Some are of African descent and/or Middle Eastern kines and will have trickled into America along the southern areas and/in around Florida, too.

Notice, too, the double-digit of three’s in `33 minutes ago` for this particular article. That’s another personal message to moi. In word association, I noticed how the Filipino part of the word `wala` appears similar to the word `hawala`. Freaky, indeed!

  • 20100513-Trying Theme

Yippie! I’m trying the newest WordPress.com theme:

Enterprise is a 2-column Widget-ready theme with a clean, corporate look.

    PROs:

    • Widgets. One side bar and three footers! Eek!
    • Background. Custom background for images and display options (for colors, positions, repeats, and attachments).
    • Header. Images of exactly 960 x 80 pixels. I used one of the `Sample Pictures` called `Sunset` from Microsoft. It’s the darkest of the four.
    Sunset
    Sunset
    • Readability. Light colors of gray, black, white and blue. Normal-sized fonts.
    • Rounded corners for elements of:  header, wrapper and navigation bar.
    • Top navigation bar with drop-down menus!

  • 20100511-Happy Heart

    Happy Heart
Artist: Andy Williams (peak Billboard position # 22 in 1969)
Music by Hans Last and Words by Jackie Rae

There’s a certain sound always follows me around
When you’re close to me you will hear it
It’s the sound that lovers hear when they discover
There could be no other for their love

    CHORUS
It’s my happy heart you hear
    Singing loud and singing clear
And it’s all because you’re near me, my love
    Take my happy heart away
Let me love you night and day
In your arms I wanna stay, oh my love

Feeling more and more like I’ve never felt before
You have changed my life so completely
Music fills my soul now, I’ve lost all control now
I’m not half, I’m whole now with your love

    CHORUS

    Repeat CHORUS with “La-la’s”

Repeat CHORUS with “La-la’s” and FADE

I recall being happy – so happy that every time I played the old vinyl 33 record, I would reach up with my right hand and pull open the blinds to the window of our apartment dwelling in a naval housing community. Of course, the sun was shining then and it continues to shine now. And because I’m feeling happy I’m sharing the lyrics to that of my favorite childhood song – Happy Heart.

  • 20100510-Loving You

Well, I’ve been humming an old country music for some time now (in my head, that is) and decided to add as one of my favorites to my YouTube.com account: I’ll Still Be Loving You by dywin(Added: November 04, 2007, 05:08 AM)

I’ll Still Be Loving You by Restless Heart
Songwriters: Cerney, Todd David; Rose, Pam; Bunch, Pat; Kennedy, Mary Ann. I’ll Still Be Loving You lyrics © Choy La Rue Music; Mca Music Publishing; Warner-tamerlane Publishing Corp

Changin my life… with your love
has been so easy for you
    And I’m amazed
    Every day
    And I’ll need you….

Till all the mountains are valleys
    and every ocean is dry
    My love….

I’ll be yours until the sun doesn’t shine
    Till time stands still
    until the winds don’t blow

When today is just a memory to me
    I know…

    I’ll still be loving
    I’ll still be loving
    You
    I’ll still be loving you

    Never Before…
    did I know
    How loving someone could be
    Now I can see
    You and Me

    For a lifetime
Until the last moon is rising
you’ll see the love in my eyes
    My Love…

I’ll be yours until the sun doesn’t shine
    Till time stands still
    until the winds don’t blow
When today is just a memory to me
    I know…

    I’ll still be loving
    I’ll still be loving
    You

I’ll be yours until the sun doesn’t shine
    Till time stands still
    until the winds don’t blow
When today is just a memory to me
    I know…

    I’ll still be loving
    I’ll still be loving
    You
    I’ll still be loving you.

I’ll still be loving..I’ll still be loving you…
I’ll still be loving..I’ll still be loving you…
I’ll still be loving..I’ll still be loving you…

  • 20100510-Tongue Flickers

When I opened up my email a few hours ago, I saw Sherri had provided, not the recording of the webinar as per my request, but several suggestions to take Len’s seminar, buy hiss book, which I won’t buy because I’m friggin BROKE and to visit his site, which I did and saw a video automatically playing of Len’s speech.

He flicked his tongue. No wonder there was bickering for almost thirty friggin’ minutes after the first webinar of that health site! I heard everything these people were saying because I didn’t log off! I had to send the last message on the `chatting` for the fools to log off their webinar account.

My God! What are you people trying to pull? Anyway, it explains why these reptoids are always fighting as if ready to rip each others’ throats out or at least to chew off their heads. The devolution of their design is truly sad.

  • 20100510-Fallen’s Return

At 12:12am (PDT), I just finished watching a YouTube.com video on the Return of the Nephilim. My mind created more strange connections and saw a nice date of 7/12. But it depends on the horse’s mouth, really. And the word `Nephilim` kinda looks like a person’s name. Great.

    Here are some translated words:

    Bene HaElohim: “Sons of God”

    Benoth Adam: “Daughters of Adam”

    Nephilim: “the fallen ones”

Nephal: “to fall, be cast down to fall away, desert”

    HaGibborim: “the mighty ones”

    gigantes = “giants?”

    gigas = “earth-born”

tamiym = “without blemish, sound, healthful, without spot, unimpaired”

    Here are some Biblical passages:

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the Sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair, and they took them wives of all which they chose.

    ~Genesis 6:1,2

There were Nephilim in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renouwn.

    ~Genesis 6:4

These are generations of Noah; Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

    ~Genesis 6:9

Two things popped into my mind as I typed out the Biblical passages:

    1. While parking at the 99 Ranch Market this morning, I saw a Chinese wife and a White husband, who carried their child up in his arm. As I drove by them, I kinda said, “There goes the breeding program.” Another Asian couple seemed to be in love and close to each other from behind the first couple. I started singing the `Viva! Viva! Viagara` tune. The driver’s side window was rolled down, of course.

    2. After cleaning out the parakeets’ bottom tray, I said something about `Noah, build your ship! Save the day!` or something like that. I don’t know where that thought came from, except the fact that it was cold and raining that afternoon or so. And that I was joking again for whatever reason.

  • 20100509-Trying Theme

I couldn’t help it! I went back to the `Pool` theme here at WordPress.com. Why? I’m never satisfied or nuts, really, about perfection!

    PROs:

    • Blue color schemes just like the halo that someone special happens to wear on occasion. I’ve read it gets him in trouble. Hehehe!
    • Custom header. This time is a Microsoft image of yellow flowers, or daffodils.
    Yellow Daffodils
    Yellow Daffodils
    • Top navigation bar. It accommodates my ten precious, yet hardly read, pages and the default `blog` tab (or front/home page).
    • All meta data shown right underneath the post title. Perfect!

    CONs:

    • One sidebar. I hate sidebars! I want bottom bars (or footers), too!
    • One-column, no sidebar view for both `pages` and `posts`.
    • The `recent comments` do not have time stamps! I want time stamps! Waaahhh!

As a result, I had to edit my paid CSS upgrade. When will the madness end? Never!

  • 20100508-Guys Behave

I heard everything you guys said right after you finished the presentation! It’s not good business to be late for a webinar. But it’s okay. It’s the first time you guys put out a great presentation on health. Don’t take things personally. It’s all in the business. It’s all about health.

    Please stop fighting amongst yourselves.

  • 20100508-Audio On

Everything went well, Sherrie. I’m sorry if the audio was not so good. But you all did well. Thanks for teaching all of us a great lesson about health.

    Guys! Behave.

  • 20100508-Get Healthy

  • 20100507-Trying Theme

I’m getting bored with blogging. But I enjoy switching among WordPress.com themes. This time I’m trying the following:

    Blix by Sebastian Schmieg

A tried and true two-column theme with widgets and a customizable header.

    Tags: custom-header, fixed-width, green, two-columns, rtl-language-support, white, light, right-sidebar, widgets, sticky-post

    PROs:

    • Light color scheme with a hint of blues and yellows.
    • Custom header. A Microsoft clipart of yellow flowers , makes the overall feel of the weblog all warm and sunny, like my Gravatar widget, which sports an illustration of a sun with 12-spokes from iStockphoto.com.
    Yellow Daffodils
    Yellow Daffodils
    • Single page view for `pages`.
    • Two-column view for `posts`.
    • Search bar to the right of the top navigation bar.

    CONs:

    • No time/date stamps for both front page and single view.
    • No blog description underneath the blog title.

Once again, I’ve narrowed down the pages to four – archives, links, media and pages – based on the WordPress.com Dashboard. If only drop-down menus were available for `Page` widgets in the sidebar, that would be nice.
