  • 20060427-Blue Days

‘The weather is great. I love this weather!’ ‘Squirrel-Ling’ exclaimed as he came into the house to unload his bicycle from his black Mustang. He usually bikes to work, which is about fifteen minutes away. But since he will move (whenever) into his new house, he could opt walking to work at the same amount of time.

I was playing ‘bite the balsam’ wood with two parakeets, Yeyo and Fat Budgie. At the same time, I heard a positive response from him in a long time. The mostly gray clouds and unseasonal rain for the beginning of 2006 has been replaced with another fine day of clear blue skies, very little signs of clouds and brown smog sticking over the horizon.

I would rather hear grumpy people making happy noises than happy people making grumpy noises. ‘Squirrel-Ling’ is a happy person and his baby pictures shows him smiling and his aura is of no ill will. People like him as I mentioned in my previous blogs and seem very attracted to this handsome ‘Squirrel-Ling.’

Blue days are always relaxing and calming. The Sun overhead was not that hot but felt lots of heat penetrating my big shiny forehead. My sneakers are at home and I should remember to bring them for walking outside on blue days like this.

Today, I managed to take a walk with a couple of co-workers for lunch. At least I did not overheat underneath my black vest with a high collar or sweat too much to stink up the cubicles at work like some people do after they work out at the company gym downstairs AND without taking a shower.

We bought the $7.00 special, which included a baked, teriyaki salmon on top of cabbage salad with medium hard breadstick. I think we wasted half our money on the pretty plastic, hexagonal shaped container with a hinge and on the fact that the salmon was only six by three inches. Moreover, I do not like cabbage this raw or uncooked and prefer this boiled as part of soup.

I wanted to drive home with both my windows rolled down but had to rolled them back up because of my more sensitive hearing. For the brief moments of enjoying the beautiful scene of nicely manicured business parks of flowering blossoms on tall green trees lining my path towards home, I took long breaths of the crispy cool air and daydreamed of more days of blue skies.

The red firetruck of the SJFD blared it siren towards the railway intersection from my road at 06:33PM. Earlier on my way home, a white SN truck blared its siren opposite from the soccor field and I almost stopped in the middle of the intersection to avoid it and the car to my right in order to pull off the side.

Anyway, I shall continue with my stories. There is no need to feel fearful or intimidate by the actions of recent activites from police people intercepting the speeding motorists or the fire folks stopping the congested traffic.

My awareness of beauty from within myself as I program my brain for positive thinking and raise my spirit for perfect harmony has been reflected both yesterday and today in the form of blue skies, fresh air and happy people.

I have decided to concentrate on bringing warmth from the Sun back to us after the long wet weather. We could use some heat to dry off, especially of soaked feathers from the outdoor birds. Both days did not leave me drained of precious energy as I continued to work indoors.

Other aware people are encouraged to be more in tune with nature and together we could raise the vibration of the planet to its rightful place among the stars where goodness prevails. Everyone could take on personal efforts to make anything possible at given anytime.

  • 20060426-Blessing Dark

After Paw answered the phone around 07:20PM and after he walked upstairs in his underwear to hand me the phone, Brat requested me that I come over and help clear the outside and inside of his property. He said to bring my smudge and I immediately got dressed.

I fumbled around in my drawers in search of the remaining stalks of the fragrant sage and found two inside the plastic bag. I’ve not used the rest in the past six years and I told myself to purchase more of these plants for clearing the environment. I’m a novice but have learned to respect ancient healing methods whenever possible.

So I went downstairs and grabbed two of three holy waters in plastic white bottles from the sacred space of our Christian alter: picture of Sacred Heart; miniature statuettes of Fatima and St. Joseph; hanging plaques of prayers; candles and other assortments of reverence.

My vest and jacket pockets were stuffed with bottles of holy water and my cell phone, which never rings. My back light blue jean pockets had my circular shaped, magnetic removers for protection of my rear.

My already heavy, black leather bag had the mini-torch for lighting; my two remaining smudges; a three legged turquoise circular container to catch the burning embers and a pyramid-shaped HHG for extra protection.

I arrived at the designated place, which is my first to clear other than my home. Brat seemed to be talking on the phone. He wondered what this acid burned, red colored mini SUV truck, which had no license or license plate, was doing parked opposite his new house.

Prior to leaving my home, I visualized my personal clearing and thought of only goodness. The first action I took was sprinkling holy water around the front of the house and then lawns of his sidewalk and front yard. Later I went through the front door; into the inside of the house and out to the backyard to perform the same sprinkling of holy water.

I did not have any particular prayer prepared and repeated familiar ones from my Catholic upbringing. The only intention was to offer clearing and removal of any stuck energies. My next task was to use the smudge which I lighted several times until success was made.

I didn’t want to burn up a lot at one time and had only a few minutes to perform my novice rituals. Brats’ friend does hers professionally and I know she could read anyone like an open book. Honestly, I would feel naked around her and have a hard time thinking nice thoughts.

Anyway, I slowly worked the smudge around the back sides of the house and got to every nook and cranny that seemed too constricting. The place seemed full of pressure, which is similar to my head pressure as I blog this sentence at around 10:02PM. I later worked the backyard, which has been cleaned by a gardener this week.

Next I went inside the first floor of the house from a counter clockwise position. I started from the backyard door to the bio-unit room, the living room, the bathroom, the garage and lastly the kitchen.

I don’t know what the difference is with the direction of my method. I happen to be right handed and felt like I had to start on the right side of my walking. I only know that the smell of the smudge was working inside the house and up my nose.

I slowly walked upstairs and marked each step, which are ten; then one miniature landing; and four more. I wondered if the couple wiped down the hand rails of the stairways yet.

I got my bearing and worked to two bedrooms and walked inside each closet. Then the laundry room area started getting stronger. By the time I got to the bathroom area with one toilet and one shower and tub section, Brat felt his arm hairs stand on ends.

My head pressure is currently building up more as I compose this sentence at 10:10PM. I felt something clear as my heart beats swooned. There was a section of two wash basins directly opposite this bathroom. The portal between this wash basin area and the third bedroom to was smudged especially well.

From the third bedroom and its closet, I went through the hallway and into the master bedroom. The master bathroom was well lighted with two more wash basins to the right with a Jacuzzi bath to the right and shower to its right.

The little toilet was straight ahead and compact. I didn’t like this tight space. The adjacent master closet was between this toilet room and the shower. I took my time in this closet and went upstairs later on to clear a second time with holy water also.

They claimed there was some blood stains on the wall behind this glass door to this master closet. I said my prayers and told whatever was stuck to go away in peace. My head pressure continues as I compose this sentence at 10:15PM but not as strong as in the first bathroom scenario.

I then used the remaining holy water to purify the inside of the house but did not sprinkle as liberally as outside. I didn’t want to wet down the wooden floor or the painted walls because Twit was there and wasn’t sure if she would approve of me wetting her new house.

The clearing session was over in a few minutes and packed up my property so I could go home. Brat claimed the energy from the smudge was especially strong around the bathroom upstairs, which faces the next door neighbor’s house.

A big, one and a half inch, brown spider crawled on my bedroom wall directly opposite from my blogging space at 10:20PM. I captured the big spider with my drinking plastic glass and used one of the note pad sized, page of my calendar to cover the glass.

I showed Brat, who was playing his usual war games of shooting the enemies and he said to throw it outside where it could live. I decided to flush the critter down its watery grave into the toilet downstairs at 10:25PM. I flushed it twice to make sure the sewers directly below washed that entity away. The second flush seemed weaker than the first.

Anyway, I shall continue with my story. We both came home at the same time with Brat five minutes later and we ate dinner. With Maw’s pleadings, we had to drive back to his home.

I dug around one of the upright plastic drawers on wheels, which is located in closet across from our front door, to find a descent night light for the blessed statuettes that my bio-units bought two days ago.

I couldn’t find any night light for the sacred objects and took the pretty one from my bedroom. It looked like a miniature frosted lampshade. I think I want it back because I need to my night light to sleep. I get spooked and bit suffocated at night if my bedroom is totally dark.

We drove to his place and I plugged the night light to the right side of their temporary sacred space. This makes the house less dim and oppressive. Whenever there are objects of reverence, there should be light somewhere nearby. The inside looked much better with that night light turned on.

I think this particular blog ran too long and my hair is still wet from my shower, which should further remove any cooties left over from my ghost busting or clearing activities earlier tonight at Brats’ new house. I hope he feels much better after my help.

  • 20060426-Blessed Day

Today is glorious, which describes the whole day perfectly. The morning had some overcast sheen of white with sylphs floating in and around the light purple and grayish cloud formations.

By noontime, the whole sky became brighter, clearer and bluer. The air is crispy and the vibration all around is calm and uplifting. Light winds seem flow among the trees.

Today reminds me of rosary prayers called ‘The Glorious Mysteries’ (said on Wednesdays and Sundays). This is one of three mysteries of the Holy Rosary with the other two being ‘The Joyful Mysteries’ (said on Mondays and Saturdays) and ‘The Sorrowful Mysteries’ (said on Tuesdays and Fridays).

This is a helpful meditative tool created by and for Catholics. Personally, I think the rosary beads is similar to any prayer beads used by other religions, especially her Buddhism. The differences are the prayers and the utilization of the string of beads.

Today is a blessing Brats new house. There is no real connection for a blessing between Twit’s auspicious belief between the hours of 11:30AM to 01:30PM and ours being on a glorious day of the week. I like to consider both versions are good luck.

Maw called me at work around 11:00AM today and I wasn’t too sure about going to Brats’ new house. I asked her last night if my presence at the blessing was fine with her. Her bad English may have been better expressed as more of an invitation rather than a dry statement my not having to go.

I managed to arrive at home around 11:30AM and all three of us were in a hurry to get to their new house to avoid being late. When we got there, we found two unorthodox events.

First, Brat was not present and we saw him walk from work to his new home after some two minutes of our arrival. Second, Twit was already with her mother and older sister. My first impression was that this was yet another bad sign but quickly inserted only good thoughts.

The fact that she came first has smacked into our face of our tradition already. Both people are black sheep of each bio-unit by the way. So this is no surprise if they go by their own rules at the expense of old traditional values.

We got out of the Mazda sedan and quickly unloaded the trunk. We heard Brat already getting mad at Twit for not waiting for both him and her to enter the new house together for the blessing. Maw instructed her son not to get mad at Twit in front of us again.

This is because she will forever be clueless because that is the way she is and has been brought up with no understanding of basic etiquette before coming to America. Our goal was to drop off the items, talk to those people and leave right away.

We believe both should have waited for us to symbolically bring in our tradition as well. For any new house, the couple should be present along with a few member of the bio-unit. Each side should hold at least something new to bring into the house.

Symbols of abundance in food, such as sugar, salt, flour, rice and water, were brought in. We added a box of raisin brand cereal, cookies, crackers and chocolate, which Twit doesn’t consume. Other symbols of good luck were brought into the new house. These were new flash lights, batteries, anti-histamines, pain-killers and candles.

Yesterday, my bio-unit bought three Catholic items of reverences, such as two statues of Fatima and Sacred Heart and a wooden crucifix. All four of us woke up early at 06:00AM and brought these items into the back of our church where the old priest was supposed to have blessed these items and us at 07:30AM. He was late around 07:55AM. Brat was late for his work.

Brat left for work immediately after the blessing and the three of us stayed for the daily 08:00AM mass where mostly older folks would normally pray. I had to go home because joining my bio-units for breakfast would not allow me time to reach work.

I saw four good looking police officers intercepting speeding motorists on my road again today as I did yesterday as well. I was fantasizing about meeting them but had to boil and eat my blocks of dried noodles for breakfast. At 09:11AM, I left my home to go to work and took my time for I was enjoying the nice day with my car windows rolled down.

All I could do is be an optimistic person although there are striking differences between both cultures. Both Brat and she are in love and I do not want to get too involve with their mess. I am most certainly sure that Twits’ side did not approve but they too have no other choice but to play along as the three of us do.

The day is both a blessing and a disappointment. I will leave work early today to find out what will transpire in the upcoming days (or years). My hope is for only happiness, long life and good luck for anyone who may have encountered blue days. The blue skies above, furthermore, should imprint into our psyche that better days are always presented in some fashion.

  • 20060424-Calm Reflection

I love calm, stillness and quiet. There is nothing more serene than to be able to think clearly when there is no noise, distraction or worry. My performance is enhanced when I’m especially able to tune into my inner guidance for my blogs.

Yesterday’s hysterical performances by both Brat and Maw would be considered the storm. Each had their versions of how their own worlds should operate and why those opinions stood firm and unmovable. Both got loud inside the new house and later on outside the front garden.

The stupid Twit stood nearby either looking clueless or gloating happily. I find their heated arguments can never be reconciled due to the fact that neither would give each other the chance to be heard. Both do not listen to what the other is saying and right there is the problem.

Their behavior is as strong as a storm. Storms are weathers of hail, rain, snow, thunder and lightening but also of very fast winds. Their anger is like lots of hot air being blown out of their mouths with imaginary steam escaping from their ears.

Arguments, like storms, are ferocious at first. The pent up energy has nowhere to go but to find the targets. Unfortunately, the destructive forces leave behind a mess and sometimes hurt those caught in its wake.

But the mechanism for storms is always cleansing. Without these movements causing the destruction, there is no room for creation. There seems to be life after devastation and renewal after damage.

After all that has been done and said, I have learned that no one could avoid at least one hard lesson in life. Maw especially had a rude awakening yesterday and felt she did the best for her children. She cried to me knowing that her days are over as a bio-unit.

This is sad to know that someone so strong in fighting spirit could be so vulnerable in being alone. I tried to hold my tongue lashings as I listened to her sobbing of dejection and betrayal. This is not new to me because I have had my share of awakening to my weird world.

Her forgiveness was given to me for whatever hurtful comments she may have overheard last night from upstairs while eavesdropping on my conversation with Brat. As a matter of fact, I do not recall the details of my conversation because my memory bank does not store unessential data well.

An apology to Maw is still pending. My help to my bio-units is still available while living at home. I hope she understands that the dinner plate, which she put out on the counter for me tonight, is greatly appreciated. This is a sign to show that she cares in spite of the hurt she has experienced from both her bio-units and relatives.

The day after the storm that had hit our lives is calmer and I reflect upon the events that lead up to the disagreements among us humans. We are not perfect and have been patient to learn all that we could about each other. There are many times that I could have given up fighting for any cause and gone my separate way to live happily ever after.

I am still waiting to be a happy woman as a matter of fact. I have yet to conquer not the world in all its failings or my shortcomings of being human but to take by storm the lower based entities that dare to worm their way through my bio-units and friends.

After thought: I wonder if the airheads would come to their senses after Sunday’s storm and offer an apology soon for those who cleaned their new house and cleared their front garden. After all, taking the first step to put one’s pride down is always the hardest and this couple has a long way to go.

  • 20060423-Completely Confused

I have good news and bad news. Good news is I am still me. Bad news is I am confused.

Am I really free to choose my own path in this lifetime? Or has everything in my life been planned out from the beginning? I am stuck the middle once again and do not know how to begin!

First, I believe that everyone has been given the ability to choose which path to take in any one lifetime. I think this is called free-will. Second, I believe that everyone has been placed in a perfect position to learn from each other. I think this is called pre-destination. Which one is correct?

I cannot believe one or the other and may believe that both concepts co-exist. There is this strange balance that is very hard for me to achieve. And I’ve been tested so many times that I think my brain could explode!

I have tried to find solutions by thinking with my head and by feeling with my heart. Yet, neither method could come to any clear conclusion. I think I do not fully understand my purpose and I feel my small voice is not heard as a result.

‘What am I to do next?’ I ask myself. I stand at another cross road and may consider doing nothing once again and letting the events all around me fall into their nice places. There are too many weird things happening recently and I cannot find my own answers.

Today there have been two cries for help. One was by Brat and the other one was by Maw I wish to be there for both of them. I tried to help both and failed each time in their eyes. Or have I failed but myself?

This morning my bio-units and I helped to clean the new house and garden of Brat. We worked together fine for four hours straight from 11:00AM to 03:00PM. The disappointment was that Brat denied ever requesting our help when Paw spoke with him over the phone. No wonder Twit was surprised to see us three over at her house.

This evening my bio-units realized that children are meant to be set free. We four have lived together fine for over three decade. The disappointment was that Maw realized providing help to her children is no longer needed. No wonder both Brat and I are not too happy living this long at this house.

Both events that have crossed my path today indicated that help was clearly needed. Based on my inner guidance, I would conclude that the only solution to both events is to help whenever requested and with unconditional love. This ideal would have a happy ending.

However, when the request for help is unwanted, the choice is clear. There is no need to provide further help to people who do no seek or ask due to the fact that the appreciation won’t always be reciprocated to the giver of kindness, compassion or understanding.

The main conflict of interests is between the Self and the outside world. Each person is allowed the opportunity to choose between being nice or mean or between generous and selfish. The results are then weighed in the end.

My conclusion for the meantime may be this: There is no perfect solution. I hate that neutral answer but this is the best that I could offer. And as each event presents itself to any one person, there is only hope that peace prevails no matter what happens to me or anyone else.

  • 20060423-Cleaning Chaos

I was awakened twice by Paw knocking on my bedroom door. I couldn’t wake up because of going to bed early last night; waking up early this morning; composing a three hour blog; and sleeping another four hours to make up for lost hours of beauty rest.

Brat called us from his new home around 10:00AM. He needed help in cleaning the house. I loaded up the trunk of the Mazda with Maws wooden basket of orange drinks, bottled waters and bear claw pastries; one vacuum cleaner; two sweeping brooms; two dust holders; one mop and one floor sweeper, which was the same one they bought today but never used.

We arrived with the usual lack of manners from her, which is typical of her kind because I’ve encountered many before her. I had expected her to come out and greet my bio-units and me and to help us unload our cleaning tools. I do not understand why two people need to change the front door handles and locks and why continued to smile from the front door.

I ‘manned’ the vacuum cleaner downstairs while the mostly wooden floor of maple was swept by Maw and mopped by Paw for about one hour. Another hour or so was spent by me vacuuming the upstairs carpet of light beige and newly installed marble flooring. We did not bother doing the bathrooms.

The cleaning of the two-car garage was done for another hour or so. Paw swept the walls and garage door free of spider webs while I swept up the saw dust and debris below. Maw held the plastic bag open so I could throw away the two piles of dirt.

Twit and I attempted to pull out the garden lanterns from the front lawn because Brat didn’t like these in his lawn. We stopped pulling the black wires at the backyard because of potential electrical hazards. She had the wrong pliers to try to cut the wires free from the soil and Brat got mad at her again for not knowing better.

They will hire an electrician to remove those wires and another cream colored wire sticking out from the backyard. There seemed to be a fountain that used to be in the backyard due to the dark gray outline of moisture left behind on the cement.

Twit actually got her hands dirty because Maw told her that her hands used to be nice and pretty when she was young but had use her hands later on in life to get any work done around the house and garden. The front ice plants of yellow flowers were being removed with one of her shovels by the four as I drove twice to retrieve gardening tools from our garage and our backyard.

After I handed Paw his favorite leather gardening gloves, I handed her a pair of our light green colored gardening gloves but she didn’t seem to want to put those on. Once again she didn’t seem the kind to get her nice and pretty hands and fingers dirty for now. My hands are rough and not as well manicured because of working too hard to care.

I immediately swept the sidewalk with the walis, a Filipino broom made of several long bamboo sticks wrapped together to form a handle on one end. I had to bend over and squat down low to get the full sweeping effects of this broom, which could get into the crevices of the sidewalk.

She got the long handled broom and she too began to sweep whatever dirt remained on the sidewalk. Maw got herself another walis because this is her preferred sweeping tool. Paw and Brat got to use shovels of straight and spade; hoes and pick axes.

I saw one millipede and many pill bugs both young and old running from the sidewalk to the lawn since their home of yellow flowering ice plants was being pulled, shoveled and raked. I kept sweeping them back; saying sorry and trying to avoid stepping on any one of them.

We piled our hard work in front of their house for pick up tomorrow Monday by the city. I then loaded up Paw tools (0r property as he mumbled under his breath) into the trunk. Maw got mad again thinking that the same plants needed to be removed from around the mailbox areas. The gardening activity took another hour or so.

We kept our energies up throughout the whole ordeal by eating and drinking whatever we brought over. I drank two bottled water; left over bear claw pastries from Maw and Twit popular coffee drink in a bottle, which she bought. I had to drink lots of liquid because I was still experiencing these headaches from lack of proper hydration.

The sentiment from both my bio-units and I is that although both airheads are in love; they do not seem to know what they are doing. We do not understand why they seem to take long too dump their properties into their new house and why it would take us three people only four hours to accomplish this cleaning when both had the whole week since Tuesday to clean.

We completed our first of lifelong ‘help’ to these airheads until 02:30PM. We left disgusted after both did not show proper respect and appreciation for our hard work by closing the garage door from the kitchen on us. They continued to talk about the keys to different doors as Paw tried to explain the various usages of rags left over to his son.

I had expected Twit to at least offer to take us out to lunch but once again her kinds to do seem to care. I will tell Brat to not get engage to her yet because she does not understand English all that well; basic protocol of being nice to people who could have used some decent nourishment from today’s work; and knowing better not to share keys to the house with her relatives unless going on a trip.

I am tired and had to pop our dirty clothes into the washing machine. My shower was tiring but refreshing starting at 03:00PM. I managed to get online to edit this blog starting at 03:20PM. I am not happy to know that our service to humanity in this form could be this physically exhausting. My rare headache continues to throb in my brain.

My logic prior to getting out of bed was that I was overweight and could use some needed exercise and that our cleaning their house right away would expedite their moving from our lives so they could start their own. Although there are differences in handling today’s event, Twit said ‘thank you’ to me softly at the garage door without looking and that was enough for me for now.

  • 20060423-Clueless Connecting

I love playing games, especially when growing up with my babysitter in Norfolk, VA. There was the ‘Life’ where most want to end up as millionaires, the ‘Chutes and Ladders’ of going up and down to nowhere and the ‘Sorry’ of being somewhere that seemed bad.

Other games where jumping from the sofa as high up as we could towards the ceiling and downwards below to the floor to the song of ‘We All Fall Down,’ which may have been from the ‘Osmond’ but am not too sure now.

The babysitter of the daughter would get mad at her for letting us play this dangerous game and she would pinch her by squeezing, lifting and turning some skin mostly on her upper arm. Our playmate would cry and say sorry and we kids played some more when she was not looking.

I love to do puzzles of all sorts: crosswords, word searches, mind games and connecting the dots. The word puzzles of filling or looking up different words are medium hard while the mind games of testing the thinking abilities to solve math problems or logic were the hardest. The easiest was connecting the dots.

Connecting the dots involved no thinking at all. There were numbers that guided us kids that resulted in pretty pictures of animals, plants or people. Sometimes we could fill in the outlines with pretty colors from different named crayons, which when first new would squeal in the right tone by holding the waxed pieces completely vertically.

Playing games and solving puzzles were fun when I was younger and still enjoy doing a few crosswords and word searches from a television guides, which also contains horoscopes. Horoscopes are also entertaining as I compare my birth sign of Sagittarius to other celebrities and wonder if I am similar to them in every way.

I am sure there were other games from my childhood that were not as memorable as the ones I’ve mentioned. My memories of the past have faded and are not as etched into my memory banks as other people I’ve known.

The hardest game to play as an adult is taking a hint and solving clues. People would joke with me and I would play along thinking that what they have said is true. I’d smile and laugh with them and would find out later on that there is no truth in their statements.

Brat is notorious for making me a fool because he would string me and everyone else along. This would make people like me angry later on because of the confusion he’d create in his audience’s minds. Some people do not understand how to lighten up, especially us women.

His sense of humor comes from the side of Paw. I’ve got a few kickers of my own here and there and have learned to utilize this inheritance into my blogs. But I seem to find that the guys are funnier on both sides of the families.

I do not mind playing games now that I’m older. This keeps my inner child fresh and alive. The only difference is that instead of being mostly fun and innocent; the games affect other people who seem to have no fun and are no longer innocent to take a joke at face value.

There should be a general compilation of rules somewhere to guide and direct the adults to behave properly. Etiquette and self help books do provide various sources to allow the persons to think for themselves. Talking to people everyday and reading articles online are other ways to gathering information.

People would be less confused with reduced distortions to the already overwhelming information. Each mature individual would then hopefully be more responsible in any action, word or deed performed in any given moment in time.

Unfortunately, there are people who are quite clueless and may at times misconstrue the meanings behind the messages of the originators. Some may act upon these data with unfavorable results; some do not think there is of any importance and let the matters fall away.

I find myself being very clueless most of the time. This is no fault of mine because I have a difficult enough time hearing the people speaking loud enough through background noises or clear enough through clenched teeth. The messages that do not reach my already bad hearing are at best noise.

A noisy world is uncomfortable and the sounds could overwhelm those who are quite sensitive. I, for example, am sensitive to loud and sudden noises and to noisy crowds. Noise does not have to be sound.

Noise is what makes data unclear or intelligible. Meaningless fact is noise. Irrelevant information is noise. People say things that do not make sense. The world with its past and current events did not and does not make sense. I don’t know if I’m making sense now.

Those that try to make sense sometimes miss the mark. Silent treatments should indicate that the lack of interaction means there is either no answer and are found elsewhere or there are certain persons who should keep quiet and not contribute anymore noise, especially to a particular forum.

Those that continue to miss the mark are completely lost. Dropping hints along the way should indicate that there is some effort in play to prod the clueless minds like sheep that need to find a way home. An ideal home for those seeking answers is the greener pastures.

Direct explanations are the last resorts and spoil the game of making the person wiser. When a homer has been established, there is no more noise. I personally have learned much better when my teachers offer their knowledge or wise explanations simply because the data provided was either not readily available or not easily understood.

The goal all this time for me in particular has been a series of pounding simple sense into my clueless mind, which has had a difficult time in connecting the dots of various data in order to arrive towards the conclusion that Silence is Golden.

Then again, I prefer to communicate my personality to the world via my blogs rather than to remain silent and go unnoticed among the multitude of voices. Because in reality, I’m too soft spoken to be heard and too timid and shy (at first) to carry on a normal conversation.

  • 20060422-Playing Plastic

Yesterday, we encountered more plastic visages from our relatives. They do seem behaved on the outside; yet I often wonder what mean spirits possessed their insides. There is definitely something wrong but cannot tune into the lack of nice qualities I expect from pod peoples.

The faces of certain relatives are deeply filled with pock marks, weird wrinkles and puffiness filled underneath the cheekbone areas. The twinkles in their eyes are unnervingly insincere and sometimes bug eyed like monsters. Their smiles are etched into their faces and have little or no warmth through their opaque white teeth.

Maw and I had discussed yesterday evening around 06:00PM about the inner workings of how our East Bay relatives behaved. I have offered my best explanation that we are very territorial and will defend ourselves against others or from our very own kin folks to the very end. Finding fault for the slightest error made at any one time is unforgettable.

This means that in-laws would be blamed regardless for trifle matters, such as who attended which parties and how frequently one would show face in spite of the back biting that has been going on up to this point in time. There seems to be a general burden that in-laws have to carry for the term of any relationship.

My presumption is that being in America allows some to forget where they originated. They probably forgot the hierarchy of respecting older people, who are more sensitive and perhaps more traditional than Americanized Filipinos. They freely chose to ‘just ignore’ the protocol of properly greeting and leaving.

My ‘real’ life experience taught me that certain nasty creatures could tune out or just ignore a friendly gesture of waving goodbye. I have a feeling those people are using their gang, unity or togetherness technique to include only preferred members in their close minded boxes.

There has been some basic kindness with a simple smile or kind word from certain people, though. Little has been said as the norm except two male first cousins who bothered to have a small conversation of a couple of minutes each with me.

Maw’s belief that only good exists is opposite of what she expected from her in-laws, who had exposed her further to the harsh realities in life. She truly believes her peace is found with her prayers and within her own God. Her face is remarkably youthful as noticed yesterday by the other curious onlookers.

Once again I have no other recourse but to take the middle ground between the betrayal of innocence and the trust in love. I cannot ‘just ignore’ the existence of my paternal relatives; yet I cannot ‘just ignore’ the existence of my true being. I prefer freedom over security anytime; forward looking statements over backward thinking attitudes; and embracing enemies over ignoring love.

My simple life may become more exposed to the world of my future in-laws, if any, and have saved my sense of self by being alone. If stopping my smiling or giggling inappropriately would turn my face plastic, my inner guidance would refuse to be downplayed among more professional players in the game of life.

  • 20060421-Burial Bed

Today is the funeral of the relative. I am supposed to get dressed in the usual color of black after my sleep has been disturbed twice by Paw who had knocked on my bedroom door this morning. I found my neck craned to the left in its usual comfortable position.

The smell of coffee brewing into my bedroom from downstairs makes me hungry as the Sunlight appears brighter over Mt. Hamilton, CA to the gray cloudy morning at 07:07AM. The air does not feel cold like yesterday and imagine today’s funeral service is not going to be rainy.

Paw replaced Brat as a pallbearer and I heard Brat say a joyous elation at 07:11AM that he doesn’t have to attend today’s burial. I envy Brat because he seems to be able to avoid the many distractions in life, especially from relatives that enjoy parties.

Brat has to oversee some contractors working at his new house, which seems too small for me but too large for my parents to imaging cleaning. The smell of new houses (and cars) make me feel proud to know that people are able to afford their luxury goods while still living as human beings on this precious planet.

Paw insisted that we leave around 08:00PM so that we could be at the chapel at around 09:00AM. I felt that we could have left the house around08:30AM due to the traffic is in the opposite direction. I decided to travel slowly and on the slowest lane on the rightmost side to get there.

We left the house at 08:05AM and traveled at 60 miles per hour northbound on Highway 880 towards our exit at Decoto Road. As usual I have my favorite entourage of ‘watchers’ leaving their parked positions from this stretch of highway. There were three vehicles in total that I noticed along the way.

The first two vehicles stopped their emergency blinkers upon my intersecting their positions at 08:25AM. These were light colors in beige and grayish blue, I think. The beige colored sedan had two mini antennas sticking out from the back windows.

The third vehicle was a tow truck with its broken vehicle in the back. This tow truck stopped its emergency blinkers around 08:30AM near the exit upon my intersecting this position. I flashed my brakes to show I cared too.

We arrived at the funeral home and took pictures of cousins, the eight paternal siblings and other miscellaneous shots while waiting inside. I felt relaxed the whole time until traveling from 10:00AM to 11:30AM towards the church. We had both our emergency blinkers and head lights on.

The police escorts were very skilled as they weaved back and forth through the procession and while they stopped traffic at each intersection. I think those police did their jobs well in directing traffic. The scary part was coming back from the mass on southbound Highway 880 because we were too close to each other.

The burial was quick as the coffin was lowered into the ground. I was one of remaining person to throw red roses into the plot because there were people crowding around that tossed their hopes into that hole in the ground. The ground will do a nice job of biodegrading the reproductive organs of these flowering plants.

While waiting mindlessly under the heat of the sun, I enjoyed standing under my wide umbrella with wooden handles and a colorful stain glassed design of the Sistine Chapel. Our umbrella was by far the prettiest among the rest.

I took pictures of the fluffy, white clouds and sylphs overhead as well as small purple flowers in the cement container of a large obelisk shaped structure, which had a small pyramid top. There were Masonic symbols elsewhere on the property.

My Succor Punch from Quebec, Canada was buzzing away in my deep, over the shoulder leather black bag. My decision to bring this crystal healing device along is to help clean our environment. This cleansing did work today because a nasty monster had gagged on her spit (or post nasal drips) the whole time we were at the chapel this morning.

She continued to cough throughout the mass this afternoon. Her waving me away won’t suffice under these circumstances. I forced her and her family to shake my hands in peace at mass. I had expected more from someone who failed to show face during the growing years in the past.

Malditas, according to old Filipino sayings, are mean and manipulative. This particular maldita did not show proper respect to my parents and me, especially when leaving the restaurant this afternoon. I waved and smiled goodbye to her and her monstrous, six foot daughter but neither acknowledged my friendly gesture.

Burials should symbolize the passing away of mean spirited people and the leaving behind ill feelings towards one another. Unfortunately, some remain alive to show their hideous monstrosity by not being nice. People should try proving to themselves with whatever means possible (like orgonite for example) to reveal those people who do not behave.

Today, I am certain that being buried is almost comparable to those people who are not fully awake and continue to sleep on their beds without opening their eyes to the true nature of bad people, who need to be cleansed towards the better good and cleared from the environment for nicer folks.

  • 20060420-April Flowers

Tonight’s eulogy was as I expected. Prior to our arrival, I noticed there were sylphs hovering in the skies above the hills, which were covered with the greenest grasses and dotted with sheep and horses as the intersection to Decoto Road.

We saw a horse rider on a reddish horse located inside a white fence in the distance. Both were looking together at the setting sun, which was to our general eight o’clock direction at that time. There were farm hands working to unload hay from a truck in our two o’clock direction.

The service was already in the middle of the same ‘Prayer for the Dead’ mantras when the four of us walked into the Mission Chapel of ‘The Chapel of the Chimes’ in Hayward, CA. around 06:30PM. Brat had to use the bathroom. Both of us walked quickly through the back portion of the chapel and through the mini-lunchroom straight ahead.

There was this senora with long curly black hair that didn’t seem friendly due to the many Filipinos milling around the food section. I was hungry and eyed the vegetable wraps and other carbohydrate goodies displayed on the tables as my stomach rumbled in frustration.

The speeches were given by relatives, friends and this little old lady with very white hair. All the speeches gave a little background of how the deceased was related to the bio-unit and how he came to affect their lives that he touched the most. During the eulogy, my concentration was somewhat affected due to my head and ears were stuffy since 02:00PM this afternoon and as I currently blog.

I liked all the speeches, especially by the same priest that gave me the softest peace be with you handshake and serene gazes last Friday night around 08:20PM after the last rite prayers at the hospital. He kept his face in my general direction, which I thought was not at all unusual since I am quite beautiful (I believe).

His words were simple and spoken softly throughout the eulogy. I’ve come to believe his presence tonight is yet another significant confirmation of my many teachers that have been placed in my current lifetime. His eulogy was the longest and most profound that I was transfixed at his every word. I’ve nodded in affirmation each time he reflected my inner guidance.

He did mention that the living struggle everyday with the negative aspects of worrying, fear and, of all things, mushroom clouds that may result from war; that the fixations on money, gold, houses and cars mean completely nothing; and that the relationships created among each other are of utmost importance.

The priest allowed the audience to think how each is to be remembered when our time comes. I was, of course, thinking that we will end up as fertilizer. I wondered if he knew what I was thinking. (There were people hiding to the far right of the chapel and I wonder if they saw me. By the way, I was wearing a black sweater with red trimming, gray pants and my fake white pearl barrette. Hi!)

He twice emphasized passages from the ‘Babel’ regarding the theme of ‘to know Him, there is no death.’ In my opinion, this is a simple truth and do not know any other conclusive evidence to share in this blog. I was thinking of living by his example, which means to become a pariah of some sort.

Soon we found ourselves closing our eyes as instructed by the priest, who provided words of comfort and relaxation through breathing. He said to relax our whole being from the top of our heads, necks, stomachs, feet and especially our eyeballs. I knew this was a meditative technique of a guru.

The priest in his final message during the relaxation said, ‘I love you.’ This statement was contagious and said this twice to an aunt (in-law) sitting to my left. I’ve been saying this more frequently every other day, whenever I felt like and with gusto. I am not afraid of making myself a fool by saying this out loud because this is the truth.

Tonight was not another day in the month of April. Tonight was my expectation of people to awaken to the simple truth of living together in harmony. I know communication done in public, such as by the priest tonight, is not coincidence but a gift that exist to the few who hear His messages.

My message tonight goes out, not only to a particular flowering Petal of April, but to everyone as ‘I love you.’

  • 20060419-Consider Cremation

Tonight will be the first viewing of two for that relative. I do not understand why people would spend the time to sit in a roomful of strangers. I personally do no feel comfortable sitting and not speaking my mind besides mourning. I expect people to talk about issues not related to anything special and maybe mostly about the dead.

There is really nothing to say during the viewing except a few words during the eulogy. To mention the good that the person has done in their past is always good to hear. But the few, who remember the true nature of a person’s misdeeds, try to forgive and forget (if possible) now that the person passed on.

There is a slight chance that some people attending do not know the dead well enough to care and visit in the first place. That happens to be me because I do not like to seeing the form lying in the coffin and not moving. The person is no longer alive and the efforts to take time off from work and to drive over to the funeral home are stressful activities.

Arranging the viewing and funeral services is already stressful enough for the people overseeing this hard work. No one will ever know where the bodies will end up after the funeral homes cease to exist. Funeral homes are not homes but business entities out to make money. Some people do not have money and cannot afford a proper burial.

I would encourage people to get cremated because it saves money. I do not understand why people would spend their hard earned pennies to get buried especially if there is no one to visit the grave. The dead cannot enjoy money and I believe the deceased do not care how their former bodies are left.

Enjoying the money would be best spent by passing on the remainder to the beneficiaries, who are alive. This saves beloved visitors from experiencing the pain of viewing and burying the deceased. Burials and cremations should not be dragged on too long and twenty-four hours should be all it takes to send the person to eternal rest.

Besides, burials take up too much land space and make the neighborhood creepy with all those headstones popping up from the landscape. This does not make the aesthetics of the land value any better. I believe the aura of the graves need much clearing because of peoples’ sad emotions that may linger at the sites as new arrivals clutter up the surfaces.

Cremation allows the form to return to its basic elements, which is mostly carbon based. I wish only to mention that we are good as fertilizer and the soil of Mother Earth would welcome us this way. A burial at sea is also another noble image. This seems like another profitable venue for those who are still stuck in the three dimensional illusion of making money.

Personally, I prefer cremation and possibly both on earth and at sea. Unfortunately, my family and relatives might disapprove since we ‘Cat Hole Licks’ prefer burials over cremation. I still do not fully understand my religion. I may have to put this request into writing or disappear so that no one would know my whereabouts.

  • 20060416-Happy Easter

I greet Happy Easter to everyone. The whole morning has been raining and I surmise that team orgonite has contributed to the radical moisture that my Bay Area has received recently.

I do believe that we will not have the drought, which reminds me of saving water by not flushing the toilet frequently or watering the plants in our backyard with gray water, for example.

The day was simple and I arose from bed at 06:15AM after Paw knocked on my bedroom door and greeted us kids Happy Easter. I took deeps breathes and felt like I had a good night’s sleep. I dragged myself out of bed and couldn’t decide what to wear and found my brown colored, high neck vest in the closet.

We attended this morning’s Easter Sunday mass at 07:00AM and arrived around 06:50AM. This mass had people filling up the pews because some people were already standing along walls of the side aisles in side the church. We had decided last night to attend this very first mass of the day to avoid the crowd later on and the children that would be in tow.

I later drove my bio-units to a burger place but had decided to go eat breakfast at a nicer restaurant instead. The rain was pouring when we got out of the car to the restaurant (and to the mass earlier). We had only one black ‘Tote’ umbrella that automatically pops open and extends with the push of the button.

We were escorted by a very young lad named ‘Paul,’ who was cute. And later ‘David’ served us nicely with his cute smile. I liked him as we all joked about adopting him since we will now have two empty bedrooms upstairs. I helped my bio-units order their meals and didn’t realize most establishments do not serve soup, which I wanted as a light breakfast.

So Maw and I shared a plate since both of us have reduced appetites recently. I think we are getting older basically. We were served two extra hot chocolates for Paw and Brat and two extra cups of regular coffee for Maw and me. Maw and I tipped ‘David’ well and he smiled with his comment that we were easy customers.

I like to think that we could make each others’ lives easier with a simple gesture of kindness and understanding. For example, we patrons of eating establishments need to know how to order from the menu and state the items clearly and somewhat loudly. Some waiters cannot hear well and the background noise for me would be distracting.

This makes the waiter less stressed out and the patrons happy. Patrons who are fussy are not nice. I do not like patrons who make a big deal for poor service. Perhaps the waiters are not happy and should consider their treatment from customers in the past.

So we had eaten breakfast and discussed affairs with ‘Brat’ being frustrated but joyous at the move to his new home this week. We then went home and I proceeded to edit ALL my Yahoo! 360 blog entries with the spell checker. I found many errors this morning until 01:30PM this afternoon.

I slept until 05:00PM and felt quite refreshed after being so tired of editing my blogs. I am a less irritating person after having my nice afternoon nap which makes me clear headed and happier.

I heard the slamming of the garage door which signaled that Paw is about to put on his shoes. He would sit on the second step of the stairways and take his usual time at a slow pace to accomplish this small task.

I panicked thinking that the taxes were due by midnight tonight. Paw came upstairs again and said that it’s not due until tomorrow. I didn’t want to attend the 06:00PM ‘Prayer for the Dead’ of the relative but decided that I had better show face to a bunch of people who will become fertilizer for the future as well.

I drove my bio-units at 80 miles per hour on Northbound 880 towards San Leandro, CA and managed to parallel park nicely right in front of her house. I am proud of this little effort and skills that do not always occur since our area is not crowded and have better parking lots.

We waited another thirty minutes or so in Filipinos time before we actually started to pray. Filipinos have a tendency to delay the timing almost from one to two hour for private gatherings and especially when leaving where we could talk some more before stepping out the door to go home.

I was not at all surprised that my first cousins from hospital two days ago did not attend. ‘Gignat’, who is the tallest first cousin at over 6 feet, was the only other cousin that attended tonight’s prayer. I wondered why ‘Gignat’, my uncle ‘Macaroni’, called us last night to inform us of this gathering. His wife, ‘Glogre’, seemed behaved tonight and did not roll her eyeballs at me twice in two separate parties from the past, which I will never forget.

I liked the small chapel built as an extension leading from the original backyard. We prayed and sang in here. Only five of the closest friends attended this prayer. I thought there would be more people attending since the couple used to throw lots of parties. I suppose that there are separate prayers for their friends later on.

My bio-units and I participated in saying the ‘Divine Mercy’ which is a good sign since we are the oldest bio-units on Paws side to remain intact for three decades. This prayer is repeated five times based on the ten beads of the rosary. This is another form of mantra that allows me to relax by the way.

The prayer is supposed to make the lost soul finds its way up into heaven. I don’t know where these people get this information but that is the belief system established and maybe modified by the Catholic’ Church. Traditionally, we are supposed to pray for forty (or ninety) days until the soul finds its way to an eternal home (or another incarnation for other belief systems).

I ate my share of: mostly <em>pancit,</em> which is clear noodles with vegetables and/or meat and cooked by Maw without my help again, very sweet orange wedges, shrimp dipped in cocktail, cornbread made with Philly cheese and bottled water from home.

Brat drove home and I had to take a nice shower to wash away dirt, grime and iniquities of breathing the stuffy air from that house. I proceeded to electronically file the taxes and paid for both Brat and me. I had to charge my credit card for the Federal forms and debit my checking account for the State forms. I am poorer as a result.

I’ve ordered another Zapper with gold from Africa. I felt I needed a replacement because the pennies on the original Terminator from three years ago are wearing down. This still works and will use it to supplement my new order. I placed another order online for three general healing products. I’m trying to clean my innards and could use that nice parfait cream for my skin.

I don’t mind this simple life as long as no one bothers me. My Easter day did not have the Easter eggs to hunt or color from the past or the screaming of children to shock my chakras in the future or the sunshine to go take pictures, which were purple flowers growing in the front of their house.

Easter is supposed to be Christian celebration of the Resurrection of Christ with its pagan fertility symbols of rabbits, colored eggs and white lily flowers. The month of April is really the Blessed birthday instead of the pagan December or Winter solstice, which is the longest darkness of the year. Either way I greet Happy Birthday to You.
