I’d hate to be harsh and want to sympathize with those living paycheck-to-paycheck. But I’m wondering how can federal workers who are fracking earning above and beyond engineers in the private sector! I see NO EXCUSE for no being able to save or have some savings. That’s unbelievable.

In her usual fashion, she asks normal questions, which are nosey, such as are you eating breakfast (I lied and said, Yes); did you eat egg and bread (I lied and said, Yes); is your Dad okay (I liked and said, He’s okay); so is it just you and Dad (I told her, No, we have parakeets, too); did you celebrate Christmas and New Years (I liked and said, Yes, we did and ate out with the twosome on both days). She then said that the cousins’ Xmas party was celebrate up in Foster City, CA where my cousin Chill lives with her boyfriend for many years. She’s still single like me. And Marianne’s Mom said that Joylene is gonna have her third child – just so I know. Then she said that as a mother, she cannot say no to Marianne, who needs a babysitter and that being a babysitter is tough because she cannot take her eyes off the child who might get hurt and go to the emergency.
Y’all see, these ingrates don’t care. If Marianne and Marcelo are wealthy, they could have hired a babysitter and easily attended a party by a now deceased relative. But she uses her elderly parents. So to all of them, I bid off to Sheol.

I tried to share my joy in accompanying our local church choir with the twosome during the Korean lunch but the atheists who sat directly in front of me didn’t seem to care and looked down and the agnostic looked away, too. So when I see their happy faces on this text message, I am NO thrilled. I don’t care. As for the Filipino ghosts, those do exist. According to my mommy, her elder sister visited her two infant children, who reported to the neighbors that they were talking and interacting with their deceased mommy. A young boy, a relative, saw the ghost and jumped down the second story in fright.
My mommy said that her daddy and eldest brother would ‘clear’ the surrounding areas (during the Japanese war and up in the mountains) before allowing the family to cross the territories. She mentioned that her daddy helped to clear eyes and toothaches.
Were they ‘witches’? Were all Filipinos and other Asians, witches – way before Christianity? I’m interested in understand what my ancestors practiced before the cruelty of the Spaniards. Does that make me a liberal, feminist lesbian for my interest in practicing as ancient witches of my ancestors?
But my maternal family were practicing Catholics. Most Filipinos are supposed to be Catholics. My paternal family, too, are supposed to be practicing Catholics, though the cousins tend to behave more ‘liberal’.
As for my paternal side, my daddy said that his mommy would ‘see things’ and as a result she got two tattoos to ward off whatever she ‘saw’. They were not clear as to what my paternal grandmother ‘saw’. So maybe we have a VERY active imagination as writers, poets, and other emotional drama.
I recently received Dad’s DNA report and the highest ‘diversity’ of his particular maternal group can be found probably in India; while is paternal group can be found probably in Papua New Guinea! I saw bull crap because my daddy looks like he is from Hong Kong. I do NOT freaking care what y’all say if I look one way or the other. So Hong Kong Phooey to y’all!
