Dear diary,
Das Squirrel is pestering me about sharing DNA test results. He suggested that Dad was adopted. He mentioned that maybe he is probably adopted while his mommy was alive. He’s crazy. He doesn’t appreciate being Filipino; ignores the wishes of his Filipino parents; and would rather become an atheist and marry an agnostic. So he doesn’t count in my books for disobedience.
So it’s raining since last night and this morning. Dad happily took a shower and wore his choir robe, only to discover via a choir member that the swollen, gout-filled church choir leader decided that the children’s choir should sing. So right there my dad and I think she is getting dementia and I do NOT want anything to do with hauling a stranger’s carbon-based body around town.
Listen, if y’all believe in Christianity, that’s good. But for Das Squirrel and I we no longer believe in prayers and would have avoided attending church services long ago, had it no been for our parents. And since I stuck with an elderly parent, I have no choice but to make that ‘lifeline’ happy. Besides, he is innocent but just as frustrated as the church choir leader.
Dad said to let it go. I do NOT let my resentment go that easily. What is bad is letting the organist travel ALL that way for nothing. Money is hard to come by and I’m sure that sucked for her. And I honestly told Dad to let us skip choir rehearsal because I’m fed up with politics.
Did y’all know that anywhere y’all go there are spooks ready to recruit? That is what almost happened to me. The mommy and daddy of the former church leader, who quit because the church couldn’t afford to keep him, wanted to recruit me for something, which is probably related to volunteering – teaching students music and what nots.
No way. I have the patience of a warrior. I get triggered easily and I do NOT hide my emotions in public. That’s why we booted out the Spaniards and the Subic Bay goons. They have infiltrated our culture and country with their whiteness. And I’m NOT having that Puritan stuff influence what I know is a sham for lack of a better term.
Anyway, I share my daddy’s Haplogroup for both maternal and paternal, which are from India and PNG, respectively. I pulled my report and my maternal group is from Hmong-Mien or Sa Pa, Vietnam. I emphasized to Das Squirrel that the he needs to pay extra narrow down his doubt in ancestry.
Adopted. That means he is ungrateful and as per my mommy ashamed. Yes, he is ashamed at being related to Filipinos who are mostly practicing Catholics. Yup. So no matter how much DNA test results help the seeker, if they cannot handle the trust from his own parents, he and others who believe in their race, color, creed is hopeless.
Sincerely,
Flynn B. getting pissed off as these fools.
